FF (2): Dark Ties - NOTE - Page 132 (Thread 3)

Yay! New thread timee. Made a new thread early, just so I can reply back to comments on the first thread, which I'll be adding a link to in the post above. Thank you all so much for the comments and for liking my FF! Love you guys. <3 (P.S. First kiss will be happening tomorrow! Between who? Hm, I'll just let you guys guess that ahah.) I'd like to add (since I saw a few comments on the first thread) that no one will be heartbroken at the end of this FF! In fact, the twist I plan to bring in the end will probably be liked by most of you!

Chapter Twenty-One – The First Day

I followed him to his office and was impressed at how organized it was. Everything was neat and in perfect condition on his desk. His papers were piled neatly as well. You could also see almost the entire city from his windows, and it was a beautiful sight. As I stared outside the windows, he called my name.

"Madhy?"

I turned to look at him standing next to Supriya.

"Welcome back Madhu!"

"Hey Surpr…"

"Priya, just call me Priya, remember?"

"Oh yeah, Priya."

My eyes landed on Adi who stood there silently. I gestured towards Supriya with confusion and he smiled.

"Madhy, you'll be doing your first photo shoot with Priya. She's a photographer in our office."

"First photo shoot…? I've never had a picture taken of myself before and you want me to model!?"

"It's your job now Madhy. And don't worry, Priya will be there to help you."

I looked towards Supriya who gave me a reassuring look. She smiled and I followed her out of Adi's office as I sensed his eyes on me the entire time. I followed her into a dark room with a lot of photography equipment I assumed. There was a huge white screen on one side and I followed her towards it.

"This is going to be a simple shot with a simple white background. Now there's a change room to my left, quickly go put on this dress."

She threw a purple strapless dress at me and I ran towards the change room. I changed into it as quickly as I could and ran out before I could even take a look at myself in the mirror. I tried to ignore the fact that I felt uncomfortable in the dress.

"HAIR! MAKE-UP!"

Seconds after she yelled out, I was surrounded by a few people holding a bunch of brushes, some for make-up and some for hair. Not even five minutes passed when they all left me standing there. Supriya's eyes widened and she gestured for me to go towards her.

"Amazing! Now sell that dress as though your life depends on it!"

In a way, I felt my life did depend on it. I was working under the Kundra brothers who had kidnapped me. So the connection kind of clicked in my mind. I walked in front of the white screen and decided to give it my all. After all, I had nothing to lose. She took at least a hundred pictures of me and then stopped. She picked up her phone as I stood staring at her.

"You've got to come see this."

I walked up to her as she put her phone away. She looked up at me and shot me a huge smile.

"First time?"

"Yeah."

"I don't believe you."

"It's my firs…"

I trailed off as Adi came running into the room.

"What is it?"

"Adi! Where'd you find this girl!?"

"Uhm…"

"She's perfect! Look at this."

She turned her camera towards Adi and began showing him my shots. I watched as Adi's eyes lit up. He looked up at me after a moment.

"That's you?!"

"Yeah…?"

"You did wonderful! Nothing's stopping me from making you the biggest model now! You're going to be on billboards around the world, selling our brand! How exciting!"

Billboards?! My eyes widened at his words. My face…my body was going to be on billboards around the world?

"N…no! Billboards?! No Adi!"

"Don't worry Madhy, Supriya always picks the best shots."

"I don't want to be big. I don't want this."

Supriya and Adi stared at me with disappointed looks.

"But you're a natural Madhy…"

"Adi, I'm tired. I just want to go home."

"Alright. I'll drop you off. Thanks Supriya."

Supriya nodded her head as I turned to quickly go change back into the summer dress I had been in originally. I walked out of the change room and then followed Adi. We remained silent the entire way to the car, but as soon as the driver began driving away from the building, Adi spoke.

"Why don't you want this Madhy?"

"I don't know what it's like to be famous. I'm not that kind of girl…I won't be able to handle it."

"You've got both the Kundra brothers behind you. There's nothing to worry about."

"I don't know Adi…"

"It's alright. You take your time and decide. Until then, I'll keep your shots just in case your decision is yes."

"Mkay."

That's all that was said on the drive home. As soon as the car came to a stop, I stepped out of it and closed the door behind myself. I waved goodbye to Adi since he was headed back to work and then I walked back into the Kundra mansion. I ran directly towards my room and sat down on my bed. I began to think about everything that had happened to me since the first day I had been kidnapped. They had both made it obvious that I was a specific target, not a random one. They had also made it obvious that they both cared for me. RK had almost acknowledged who I was to him, but Adi had stopped him before he could finish. That meant that RK knew something about me. The meant I was someone to RK. I felt that was impossible since I had never interacted with an RK before, but I decided to test it out. I knew there was only one way to get answers out of him, by being the girl he thought I was.

Congratulations on making the second thread. Why do I get the feeling that Madhu will eventually end up on the billboards? I don't like the idea of her pretending to be someone else. Enough cloak and dagger going around as it is.
