Warning: The ending is quite disgusting. I mean, even I was disgusted while writing it. Nothing really happens but yeah. When you read it, you'll understand what I mean. You can stop reading it at any point if you'd like, I can tell you all beforehand that nothing happens, for those who don't wish to continue reading after it all begins. It sucks I had to add this part into my FF, but its for the story to move on.

Chapter Sixteen - The Runaway

"Ready to go?"

I turned around to see Adi walking towards me. It took everything I had to put on my most believable smile after everything I had heard, but I managed to do so. As he was walking past me, he interlocked his fingers with mine. I stared down at our hands as he began to walk with me out of the Kundra mansion. I looked back at the mansion, just hoping it'd be the last time I ever saw it. He let go of my hand as we came to a stop in front of a white car. He opened the door and I slid in as he followed me from behind and took a seat beside me. He closed the door as we put on our seat belts.

"Driver, to Kundra Model Agency."

"Yes sir."

The driver took off as Adi turned to stare at me. For the first time since I'd met him, I felt frightened. Was he the mastermind behind my kidnapping? After all, RK had mentioned something about Adi's plan.

"Ready for your new job?"

"What is it?"

"You still don't know? We're headed to our model agency."

"I don't know what kind of job you have planned for me Adi."

"Well, let's just say that you definitely sold that Kundra dress last night."

He smirked as I realized what he meant. My eyes widened and my jaw hit the ground.

"Model?!"

"Now you got it!"

"Me?! Model?! No...I can't...look at me..."

"You're beautiful."

Even though he frightened me, he still made me feel good about myself. I let a genuine smile cross my face. Then he slowly raised his hand and brought it towards my face. I wanted to retreat but stopped myself, just to make sure he didn't fall suspicious of me. I lowered my eyes as he placed a strand of my hair behind my ear. I looked back up at him as he moved his hand away slowly. We locked eyes and I tried to read something in his eyes, but there was nothing...nothing but kindness and innocence.

"Sir, we're here."

We both came out of our eye lock and I instantly looked out the window at a huge building. A sign read Kundra Agency and I figured the building held both their fashion and model agency. Adi stepped out of the car and I followed his movement. I closed the door behind me and watched the driver take off with the car.

"Welcome to your new workplace!"

"This is crazy..."

"Someday you'll be a huge model and everyone will know you. Isn't it amazing? From an orphanage to a model..."

"Yeah...amazing."

He let out his adorable laugh as he probably noticed my nerves acting up. Then once again, he interlocked his fingers with mine and directed me towards his office inside. We entered an elevator and went up to the top floor; floor 12. As soon as the elevator doors opened, I was in awe of the scene before me.

"Wow..."

I looked straight ahead at a bunch of people who all seemed to be in a hurry, but everyone was dressed so...fashionably. I felt out of place in my simple anarkali.

"EVERYONE STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING!"

All heads turned in our direction.

"Hello boss!"

"Good morning boss!"

I heard a bunch of voices but had trouble placing them as I saw all these faces in front of me.

"Yeah, yeah. Anyways, I'd like to introduce you all to our newest model. Miss Madhubala! She'll be added in with the models in the summer collection."

Summer collection? I instantly began to worry that he had planned for me to wear revealing clothes, though I had no plan of working there in the first place. I looked at him and he put on a reassuring face.

"Don't worry, I won't put you into anything you're not comfortable in."

I smiled and then was approached by the girl who I had helped place the flowers at RK's party with.

"Hi! Wow, you'll be working with us now. That's great! I can't wait to get to know you better!"

"Hey Supriya, yup. I can't wait."

She shot me a kind smile and then returned to her work. I was approached by a few others who congratulated me and I simply thanked them. The entire time Adi just kept his eyes on me. I looked at him with a nervous face and he laughed.

"Everyone back to work!"

I watched as they all followed his command and the crowd around me disappeared. Then he slowly walked up to me.

"Thanks Adi."

"No problem! Now if you need anything else, just let me know. For now, let's show you where you'll be wor..."

"Adi, I haven't had fresh air in days...and right now I could really use some..."

I watched his face as he contemplated letting me go out for fresh air, then finally he smiled.

"Sure! Just be back within ten minutes."

"Thank you so much Adi!"

"Like I said, if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask."

I smiled and entered the elevator again. I kept my eyes on him until the doors closed and he was out of sight. I sighed in relief as my plan was going just as I had planned. As soon as I was out of the elevator, I ran out the Kundra building doors. I took in a deep breath as the cool, fresh air surrounded me. I felt free after so many days. I turned around to check whether I had been followed or not, but there was no one there. I thought about running straight ahead, but felt as though he'd be watching from his office on the top floor, so I decided to take the closest alleyway to the right. I ran towards it and ran through it. I ended up on the side of a busy street full of people and mini shops. I felt comfortable being surrounded by so many people for the first time because I knew it'd be hard for anyone to find me. I told myself I wasn't being stupid, and so I ran. I ran as fast and as far away from the Kundra building as I could.

I couldn't tell how long it had been that I had been running, but I was out of breath completely and the sky was dark. Every time a car had passed by, I had hid behind anything I could find. I knew they were probably out looking for me, so I tried my best to stay hidden. I listened in on how quiet it had become and decided to take a break from running. I looked up to the sky and saw the beautiful crescent moon with stars surrounding it. I smiled at the sight but as I heard a car approaching in the distance, my smile disappeared. I quickly hid behind the closest tree. I frowned as I thought about how long I would have to run, and where would I go? As I thought about going back to the orphanage, I felt a hand on my shoulder. My heart jumped and then stopped as I felt my face go white with fear. I slowly turned around while preparing myself for what would happen next. I turned to see a man, an unfamiliar man. I sighed in relief as it wasn't Adi or RK...but then he spoke.

"LOOK GUYS! I found us a beauty!"

My eyes widened at his words as I realized he meant harm. I shrieked and ran full speed away from him. I ran into the middle of the street and turned to look behind myself as I ran. I saw the man approaching me from behind and just as I was about to turn my face to look ahead, I bumped into someone. I stepped back and looked up to see another unfamiliar man who wore a disgusting smile on his face. I turned around and saw two men approaching me rather than the one. I turned the other way and saw three men. I spun in a circle as the five men approached me slowly. I was so frightened as I had no idea how to escape.

"Ahah good catch!"

"Yeah man, can't wait to see this one from up close."

I didn't even realize that I had backed up into one of the men until he grabbed my dupatta and pulled it off me. I instantly brought my arms up to cover my chest and backed away from him, but then bumped into a different man. He pulled my dori open and I screamed for help as I let tears roll down my face.

"Please...please let me go. PLEASE!"

"Aww look at her."

"Isn't she cute with her pleading."

"Don't worry hun, we'll let you go, just as soon as we're done with you."

I knew there was no way out. I closed my eyes and decided I'd give it all I had. I decided I'd try to fight for my life for the last time. I instantly ran full speed towards an opening between two of the men. I was unsuccessful. One of the men grabbed me by the sleeve and ripped it, causing my shoulder to become visible. I shrieked, I screamed, I struggled...I did everything I could to get free but it was of no use. They pulled my hair and then pushed me to the ground as I cried and then finally gave up. It was one female against five males...I knew I had no chance.

"I found her, I get her first."

I decided to try to crawl away one last time but they grabbed me by my legs and dug their nails into my legs to keep me in place. I screamed in pain and then I watched as the man who had found me began to unbutton his shirt. Then suddenly out of nowhere, he went flying to the ground. I felt the restraints on my legs disappear and I instantly sat up while retreating at the same time. I leaned against a tree in fetal position and then managed to look through my tears at the scene before me. Shock struck me instantly.
