hello everyone!! this is my first attempt in writing something... i beg ur pardon if there r any errors... u may find this work close to the show but this is my very own version and u'll get to know this as the story proceeds... m not expecting much from this piece as m not a writer bt i'll really appreciate ur feedback in the form of likes and comments... thank u...
CHARACTERIZATION
Khushi Kumari Gupta:
an innocent, bubbly, chirpy, lively girl with strong values... believes in love, marriage, Devi Maiyya (DM)... she lost her parents in a car accident when she was 8 years old... she does not remember much about her parents or family... her new family is everything for her and she can do anything to keep them happy... simple, rooted in family and driven by a clear moral compass... she stands for what she believes in, and never lets go of her inculcated values... she is righteous, intelligent but slightly nave at the same time...
Payal Gupta:
Khushi's elder sister... she is thoughtful and mature, as opposed to the impulsive Khushi... Payal understands and supports Khushi in all matters... her marriage breaks when Khushi takes a stand against the dowry demand... yet she is rationalises the whole issue and stands by Khushi when the entire family denounces her... she is khushi's best friend... a graduate... shy, intelligent and calm by nature...
Garima Gupta:
Khushi and Payal's mother... she is somebody who considers self respect and family honour topmost... fear of infamy haunts her, as she has gone through that ordeal when she was a young woman... a loving mother and doting wife... considers khushi as her own daughter...
Shashi Gupta:
runs a sweet shop in interior lower middle class area of Lucknow... a man of modest and honest means.. he has belived that "ties of the heart are stronger than ties of blood"... he is married to Garima... Payal is his real daughter and Khushi was brought in as an orphan when she was 8 years old... he knows nothing about Khushi's original family... he has never treated Khushi any different from Payal... both his daughters are the apples of his eye... he doesn't know anything about khushi's original family...
Madhumati (Buaji):
Shashi Gupta's elder sister... she is a widow, very conservative and traditional in her approach... she is strict and appears rude, though somewhere deep down, she means well... She had migrated Lucknow to Delhi...
Arnav Singh Raizada:
a self made, ruthless,hansome, arrogant, rude but very successful business tycoon... he is a 'win at all costs' man... he believes everything can be bought in the world, including love... ge has no consideration for relationships and can even manipulate people to achieve his ambitions... he does not believe in marriage or love or god or destiny... his sister is his world... his sister calls him "chote"...
Anjali Jha:
a loving sister and doting wife... she is arnav's world... she is a strong believer of traditions, god and destiny... marriage & love are very important for her... totally opposite to her brother... married to Shyam Jha... she became the strength of arnav after their parents died...
Shyam Jha:
married to anjali... he is a lawyer... he is an angel in the eyes of the Raizadas but is a double faced personality... he's cunning & he married anjali for money...
Akash Raizada:
a shy, smart, sweet and intelligent guy... a caring brother... very down to earth... always tries to find out good in others and does not judge them on monetary terms...
Manohar Raizada (Mamaji):
Akash's father... a simple man... a respected family member and a very supporting father...
Manorama Raizada (Mamiji):
Akash's mother... a funny character... she thinks high of herself and her family... her favorite lines are "hello haye bye bye"...
Naniji:
the head of the Raizada family... she took care of Arnav & Anjali after their parents' death...
Lavanya Kashyap:
she is so called girl friend of Arnav... she is high headed and works with Arnav... western influence is very clearly visible in her dressing style and attitude... later she becomes traditional...
NOTE: will b adding some characters in this story in further chapters... their relationships will b revealed in further chapters... most important will b...
Sonam Mehta:
owner of Mehta Empire... a singer by profession... enjoys celebrity status... she lost her parents when she was 3 years old... since then her father's best friend and manager took care of her...
Dinesh Singhania:
best friend and manager of Sonam's father... he treats her like his own daughter and he is the one who told Sonam about her family when she grew up and handed over her family business to her... he loves her very much... (a very positive character)
Rohan Singhania:
son of Dinesh Singhania... treats Sonam like his own sister... he is 7 years older than Sonam... very protective about her... always supports her and is her best friend... music composer by profession and composes music for Sonam's songs... his mom passed away 2 years ago due to cancer...
