Hello all. Exam time. I hate it. Why do they keep exams within one & a half month from the start of the semester?? But a good news too. My cousin got engaged recently. M so happy. Congratulations Bhaiya!!

Enough of my blabbering now. Here goes the update.

Chapter 43

Delhi

Arjun was missing his Princess and so he was in Sonam's room. He was looking at various things, touching them, feeling his baby sister's presence. He was sitting on the bed, Sonam's favorite teddy bear in his lap along with a photo album which he was going through. There were pictures of their various outings together. Singhanias and Sonam had always been more than a family to him. He was always very close to Sonam and she would always share everything with him, whatever would pop-up in her mind. He was lost in the memory lane when Payal came to him. She entered the room softly and sat next to Arjun.

Payal (touching his shoulder): Bhai??

Arjun (jerking out of his thoughts): Hii Payal. U need something??

Payal: Can't I come to spend some time with my Bhai??

Arjun (smiling): Of course u can.

Payal noticed that Arjun was being very formal and quiet. This was not according to his usual nature.

Payal (concerned): What's wrong Bhai??

Arjun: Nothing is wrong. Why would anything b wrong?? There's nothing wrong. Nothing at all. Everything is fine. Perfect.

Payal: What happened Bhai?? U r repeating the same thing again & again. Something is definitely bothering u.

Akash entered the room and heard Payal's question. He also noticed Arjun's lost look.

Akash: R u upset about what Dii said??

Arjun turned suddenly on hearing Akash's question, shock evident on his face. Payal was confused.

Akash: Don't look at me like that. Dii wanted to talk to someone about it and I don't know why but she talked to me.

Arjun (annoyed): R u here to justify what Anjali said??

Akash: I just came here to talk to u. But I guess I don't need to bother now.

Both Arjun & Akash were staring at each other. Payal was confused.

Payal (looking from one to other): What the hell is going on??

Akash: Dii is falling in love with Arjun'

Arjun (cutting in between): That's not LOVE!!

Payal was shocked. She had never expected that Anjali would start falling for Arjun. They were friends. Right??

Akash: How do u know it's not love??

Arjun (in a deathly cold voice): I just know. Love cannot happen every other day. She was in love with her husband. She was just my friend and she is misunderstanding our friendship. I accepted her as my friend but it doesn't mean that she can take advantage of that. She can never replace Diya. Tell her to stay away from me.

Akash: She was never planning to replace Diya, in the first place. And as for loving that Shyam (taking the name with disgust), she was just grateful to him as he accepted her even after knowing about her disability. She just respected him. That man lost that respect when he cheated on her. Love was never a feeling present between them. She has experienced love for the first time Arjun. And the person who made her feel it is YOU.

Arjun: U don't know anything Akash. She is just vulnerable at this point of time.

Akash: She's not vulnerable Arjun. U are. She loves u. And as much as u deny this fact, it's not going to change. U r not ready to move on and u r blaming Dii for ur insecurities.

Arjun (in a defeated tone): Please Akash. I can't cheat Diya. I had promised her that I will always love her. I can't give her place to anyone else.

Akash: Then don't give her place to anyone else.

Arjun just stared at him. Was it that easy to make him understand??

Payal: Exactly Bhai. Just let her make her place herself.

Arjun (tired): Why can't u guys understand my point??

Payal: U promised Diya Bhabi that u'll always love her. But u also promised her that u'll give love a second chance. It was her last wish Bhai. Think about it.

Saying this, Akash & Payal left Arjun alone to ponder over their words.

Mumbai

Anjali's Room

Khushi knocked the door and entered the room.

Anjali: U don't need to knock Khushi ji. Please come in.

Khushi: U okay Dii??

Anjali (faking a smile): M fine Khushi ji. How r u?? N how's everyone back home??

Khushi (frowning): R u hiding something from me??

Anjali: There's nothing to hide Khushi ji.

Khushi: Then why r u upset??

Anjali: M not upset Khushi ji. It's just that sometimes we take too long to realize that our mistakes have grave consequences.

Khushi: I didn't get ur meaning.

Anjali: I created problems in the path of ur & Chhote's love. Whatever we do definitely returns back to us. When I didn't let u have ur love, then I should also remember that even I won't get love in my life.

Khushi was even more confused now.

Anjali: Nothing Khushi ji. U go to sleep. It's quite late already.

Khushi didn't want to leave but then she felt that Anjali needs some time. So she left.

Back to Mumbai.

I know that did not have any Arshi scenes but there will b lots coming up. Just have some patience guys. I know m evil. 😉 😈
