Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s rare Raksha Bandhan picture with brother Aditya and Aaradhya goes viral

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrated Raksha Bandhan with her brother Aditya Rai and sister in law Shrima Rai. A family picture from the occasion has surfaced online, offering a rare look at the actress with her loved ones.

In the photograph shared by Shrima, Aishwarya can be seen posing alongside Aditya. She opted for a white ethnic outfit and kept her hair open, while sunglasses rested on her head. Aditya complemented her in an off white collared T shirt and blue checked trousers.

The picture also features Aishwarya’s daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, who posed with her grandmother Vrinda Rai and cousins Vihaan and Shivansh Rai. Shrima, meanwhile, joined the family frame with her sons.

Aaradhya’s presence adds another layer to the family moment, as she was seen spending the festival with her maternal family. The picture captures several generations of the Rai family coming together for Raksha Bandhan.

On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan II, released in 2023. The actress played dual roles in the period drama, which also featured Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan and Prabhu.

Aishwarya has not officially announced her next acting project yet. Her recent public appearances, however, have continued to generate interest.

The actress attended the Cannes Film Festival 2026 earlier this year, where she made appearances in different looks, including a blue mermaid style gown and a white tailored ensemble paired with a feathered accessory.
