Same Day (after Sonam's departure)
Khushi was in Sonam's room looking at the pictures adorning the walls in that room. She was already missing her Chhutki. Arnav entered the room to find Khushi lost in her own world. He wanted to go to her and hug her but controlled himself in time.
Arnav: Khushi...
Khushi turned abruptly at his sudden call as she had not sensed his presence for the first time. Her heart was pounding against her chest as was suddenly breathing heavily.
Khushi (trying to regulate her breathing): Ji??
Arnav: M sorry. I didn't plan to scare u.
Khushi: It's okay. Kuch kaam tha??
Arnav: Wo mai office k liye nikalne laga tha toh socha tumhe inform kar du. Tum off le lo aaj. U r feeling low.
Khushi: M coming with u.
Arnav: Lekin...
Khushi just picked up her bag and walked past him muttering "Lets go".
Arnav's Car
There was silence in the car. Arnav didn't know what he should say to make Khushi feel better & Khushi didn't want to talk to anyone for now. She was worried for her sister. Finally Arnav decided to break the silence.
Arnav: Waise Khushi tumse kuch puch sakta hu??
Khushi (turning to look at Arnav): Aap kab se humse permission lene lage kuch baat karne k liye??
Arnav: Tumhe English aati hai toh tum bolti kyu nai??
Khushi (smiling): Hume English padhna aata hai, bolna nai. Hum Rohan bhai or Arjun bhai se seekh rahe hain. Chhutki kehti hai k professional world mein English aana bohat zaruri hai. Jab se hum yahan aaye hain hum ye bhasha seekh rahe hain. Hum nahi chahte k humare clients hume gawaar samjhein.
Arnav was impressed. He realized how serious Khushi had become about her career. He was feeling bad somewhere in his heart as it was not him who was helping Khushi in this task. He was regretting the way he used to treat her thinking her to b some illiterate small town girl. They reached AR and Arnav stopped the car. He unbuckled his seatbelt, unlocked his side of the car, came out to Khushi's side, opened the door for her and offered her his hand to help her get down like a perfect gentleman. He locked the car and they walked inside AR together.

Khushi's Cabin
Khushi was busily concentrating on her design when Arnav entered after a knock. She looked up to find two empleyees accompanying him with some stuff for designing. They set up his stuff in one corner of the room and left. Khushi was confused.
Khushi: Arnav ji ye sab kya hai??
Arnav (closed his eyes and then opened them): Khushi tumhe thoda sa adjust karna padega. Actually... (sigh) Actually mujhe tumhari thodi help chahiye.
Khushi: Humari help?? Kis kaam main??
Arnav: Ek meeting hai humare bohat hi purane or important client k saath 3 din mein. We need to design two ethenic outfits for them and the designs have to b PURELY traditional ye classy. Tum toh janti ho mere har design mein generally ek western touch hota hai. N u design completely traditional dresses. So... Can u help?? (he asked in a very hopeful tone)
Khushi was trying hard to control her giggles on seeing his expression but his last question and the cute expression on his face while asking that question did i. She started laughing leaving an awestruck Arnav staring at her.
Khushi (in between her laugh): Arnavji... (giggle) Aap chhote bachho ki tarah lag rahe the... (giggle) ye puchte hue... (giggle)
Arnav was happy that he made her laugh whole heartedly. He felt warmth spread in his heart on realizing that for the first time HE was the reason for Khushi's happiness, her smile, her laughter.
Arnav (faking annoyance): That's not funny. M asking u for help and u r laughing at my expense??
Khushi (controlling her laughter): Achha baba... Hum karenge. (making Arnav smile widely)
She saw his face lit up as soon as she agreed and somewhere she felt happy to see that she was the one to make him smile.
Arnav (self thought): At least ab agle 3 din toh koi or bahana nai bnana padega. Well done Arnav. (mentally patting himself)
