Hello all. M back. M trying to type the next updates fast so that I don't have to delay the updates during my exams scheduled on February 18. So, here goes the update.

Chapter 42

Anjali had cried herself to sleep that night. She had just started dreaming of a happy life again and Arjun's words had brutally crushed those dreams. She was vulnerable when she had come across Arjun but the feelings blooming in her heart were not a result of her vulnerability, nor had she started liking him because when she needed a friend, he was there for her. She had liked him the moment he had entered RM for the first time as Akash's friend. She knew she was married to Shyam at that time and thinking of another man in that way was morally wrong but she was not able to ignore the feelings this man had evoked in her heart at the time of their first meeting. She had not felt a pull like this for Shyam throughout the time they were married. Did she ever love Shyam?? And if she did, then what should she call this feeling which her heart had started to harbor for Arjun?? For the first time in life, she wanted to ignore all the rules of the society, she just wanted to b with this one man who had made her feel things she had never felt for anyone. Then why was he being a forbidden and unreachable territory??

Next Day

Delhi

Mehta Mansion

Khushi had completed her packing. She was very excited about meeting Sonam. But she was even more excited about the fact that she was going to Mumbai with Arnav. She had told about this to Rohan and he didn't have a problem with this. She told him about her final decision and Rohan was happy that finally things were turning normal between Arnav & Khushi. It was decided that nobody at Mumbai will b told about Arnav & Khushi's visit. It was a surprise. Even Arnav had not talked to Sonam after that night and he knew he will have a lot of explaining to do.

Living Room (just before they left)

Rohan, Arjun, NK & Sapna said their goodbyes. They were happy to see them together finally. Payal hugged Khushi wishing her luck for the coming times with her Laad Governor. They both giggled and Akash felt nice seeing Payal laugh heartily after a long time. Arnav had eyes only for Khushi the whole time. Lavanya hugged Khushi and promised her that she will join her soon. Rishi was standing there looking at the two of them saying good-byes to others.

Khushi (turning to Rishi and smiling): See u soon Rishi.

Rishi (returning the smile): Definitely Dii.

Arnav: Bye buddy. And thanks for ur support throughout. U said a lot of things which gave me a new insight towards the situations.

Rishi (hugging Arnav): Thanks Jiju. N please tell Princess that m sorry.

Arnav hugged him back assuring him that everything will b fine soon. No matter how maturely they behaved, Sonam & Rishi were still kids who r prone to make mistakes and need guidance of an elder. They left for Mumbai and their flight was scheduled to drop them to their destination by noon.

Payal's Room (after Arshi's departure)

Payal was looking for her earring in her jewelry box when Akash hugged her from behind which made Payal jump.

Akash (whispering in her ear): Gud morning sweetheart.

Payal (catching her breath and glaring at him in the mirror): U sacred me!!

Akash laughed at her expression earning a slap on his arm.

Akash: Ouch!! That hurts.

Payal: U deserve that. (and continued her search)

Akash (left her and sat on the bed): Payal??

Payal (still busy): Hmm??

Akash (sighing): Everything is back to normal now. Even Bhai & Khushi have decided to move on. Why don't u come back home now??

Payal (stopping her search and turning towards Akash): I will Akash. Just give me some time. M trying to make an identity of my own. I want people to realize that someone as ordinary as me too can b self-dependent and if I come back now, I won't b able to achieve that. I want to see myself as a woman who can b successful without having anyone around me to give me any advantage. M the wife of Akash Singh Raizada. But I don't want this to b my only identity. I want to have a place of my own. Chhutki has given me an opportunity and I want to make sure that I avail it. It's a breakthrough for me at Mehtas. And I want to give it a shot.

Akash: Fine. I understand. It's just that sometimes it gets a bit difficult to live alone. M so used to have u beside me that I feel lonely now when u r not there. But I understand what u want. And I respect ur decision.

Payal hugged him smiling at his words. She was happy that she had got such a loving and understanding husband.

Mumbai

It was nearly lunch time when Arnav & Khushi reached home. A car was sent by Aman to pick them from the airport & drop them at Arjun's house where the rest were staying. Diya had named that house SunnySea Cottage as the house gave a beautiful view of sun rising from the depths of the sea every morning.

SunnySea Cottage

Sonam was on call when the door bell rang. She hurriedly went to see who it was and dropped the phone on seeing Khushi & Arnav. She hugged Khushi feeling happy to see her Dii after 4 days. She was happy to see Arnav too but made a face showing him that she's still annoyed.

Khushi (smiling): Won't u talk to ur jiju??

Sonam was confused. Pari Dii is asking me to talk to JIJU?? Arnav laughed at her expression and pulled Sonam in a bear hug.

Arnav: I missed u bachha.

Sonam: Huh??

Khushi: We sorted things out. Everything is fine now.

Sonam (smiles looking at Khushi): Really??

Khushi nodded her head and the smile on Sonam's face changed into a full-fledged grin. She started jumping in excitement and hugged Khushi again.

Sonam: M so happy for u Dii.

Arnav: That's not fair. U didn't even ask us to come inside. Then u didn't even bother to return my hug and now u r hugging ur Dii again?? (pouting)

Sonam: Because m still annoyed.

Arnav: Fine Princess. M sorry. (holding ears) Should I start the sit-ups now??

Sonam (smiling): No need. I forgive u.

With that, she hugged Arnav happily and Arnav returned the hug. He was glad that Sonam is back to her normal self.

Sonam (breaking the hug): U know what jiju, u should not act kiddish like pouting while saying sorry & then doing sit-ups.

Arnav: (laughs) And why so??

Sonam: It doesn't go with ur image.

Both of them laughed. Things were getting better now. Khushi smiled seeing her Chhutki getting friendly with Arnav. Finally she was getting her family back.

They all came inside and Sonam led them to the dining table.

Arnav: Where's Dii??

Sonam: In her room. She's just coming. U guys make urself comfortable. First have lunch and then u can have some rest.

Sonam called the house-help to send their luggage in their rooms when Arnav interrupted.

Arnav: Separate rooms please.

Sonam: But u just said that things r normal now. Then?? (confused)

Arnav: But we still have to get married. A proper wedding is still pending. I want to give Khushi her dream wedding.

Khushi just smiled and Sonam asked the luggage to b sent in their respective rooms. Meanwhile Anjali came there and Arnav was happy to see her again. He hugged his Dii.

Arnav: M so happy to see u.

Anjali gave him a fake smile which he didn't notice but Khushi did.

Khushi: How r u Dii??

Her question's hidden meaning was not escaped by Anjali but she didn't want anyone to worry.

Anjali: M fine Khushi ji. How was ur flight??

And the conversation shifted to lighter topics. They were joined by Harshad & Sriti for lunch and after that, Arnav & Khushi retired to their rooms for some rest. Sonam left for the rehearsals with Harshad & Sriti. Anjali went to her room as she didn't feel like talking to anyone right now.

Much much awaited update.

Things are going smoothly with arshi.they are very comfy with each other and I am so in love with understanding and loving, caring arnav.
He wanna proper wedding and be together with kushi that's so sweet of him.

even I like payash's relation is progressing in a positive www.I like payal's confidence to get her own identity..

Well even precap seems good.arjun is steady opening up with payash...
