Radhika just looked at him once and then took chudki from his arms and slowly placed her inside the bassinet, and then tapped on her shoulder for few more times, and signaled dev to turn off the bright light. She took few minutes , to make sure the baby is comfortable.

Making sure her baby is sleeping comfortably, she moved from there. She found the bed empty and then her eyes caught the sight of Dev who was standing near the open window looking into the darkness.

She walked slowly near to him; Dev was standing with his both arms folded at the chest level; reaching near , from standing behind -she slowly slide her arms around his tummy and went and held him very close.

Jerking slightly Dev unfolded his arms and touched her arms that is circling him, he called softly: Radhikaa

Radhika just tightened her arms around him and closing her eyes and getting more closer , she tried to feel him within her arms,

After how long, I am this close with him. When we met after the departure, I was carrying chudki in my womb, her growth was inside me was a milestone in our relationship. He never left me feel alone even when I came to chandenpur. I missed you so much that I just want to hold you in my arms and stand like this forever. she talked inside her, feeling him in her arms...

Radhika was unable to rasie her eyes up to meet his teasy gaze, his tone clearly depicted his tease tone seeing her with downcasted eyes. His silence made her heart to flutter, she knew exactly what might be going inside his mind, he is trying to read her face, her movement. She felt her cheeks burning. Unable to keep that distance , to give him that space to read her mind completely she hide her face in his chest.

Dev with a smile, held her tight too

Her thorat just made that movement: I missed you

Dev didn't say anything, but held her more tight in his arms.

But as he felt her warm tears, made him to losen his grip and tried to move his head back to see her face.

Radhika held him more tight

Dev: Radhika, let me see your eyes

Radhika just nodded her head in disagrement with a soft throat movement: muhum

Her hand just moved over his upper back, and then releasing herself , she rested her head again in his chest.

Holding her closer he said: ha, I was thinking about you two only. I miss you too Radhika and your tears told me how much you missed me, which is more than those words you just said to me. You don't know how much it meant to me, I realized it earlier in my life, I missed you so much and was ready to hold you in my arms, but that time you disappered into an unknown world. I got you back and now even one days distance is getting us more closer radhika, and you don't know how much I longed for it. Now you are my strength, the smile on your face let me move on, and I can see the expectation in your eyes telling me that you are waiting , just for me. I love you Radhika, I love you so much.

Radhika as if in trance: Let the darkness engulf me inside a cave, but if I can feel your arms around me, and if I can hear your heartbeat I can walk thru it without any fear. Now I am not scared of that lonely times, now I am not scared about your distance, because I know that soon I will be seeing your face in front of me, and I can hear your heartbeat no matter how far you are away from me.

The silence engulfed them few more minutes, they stood in each others hold and she felt his hands stroking over her upper back.

A soft sound of " uuu, uuu" broke their silence. Suddenly Radhika released her arms that was wrapped around him

Dev looked at her in question

Radhika's concerned eyes turned to look at their little one.

Dev tightened his forehead and tried to remind her: she is sleeping

But leaving him on that spot, she walked near to the bassinet, and found those widely open eyes , searching for her mom inside that light dark room and she heard :uuu uuu

Radhika tried to take her out and she just fitted well in her arms , looking at her wide eyes which was trying to accomodate that darkness in : what happened baby, um, why did you wake up so early, um?

then in doubt: Is it papa?ha

Suddenly Dev: why papa?

Radhika: did you hear papa's voice, hu,... oh my angel, you want to talk to papa again, hu, ...you want to play more, hu, t...ell me, what you need?

She slowly placed chudki on the bed,

Dev: do you want me to turn the bright light on?

Radhika just looked at him in question. He opened his left arm out and invited her to join him.

Radhika: how can we let her sleep like this, what if she roll over?

Dev: Radhika trust me, I am not going to move my arms, and she is safe , and don't worry I am not going to take that deep sleep, as I want you both to be near me, under my hold. Closer to my heart, and i want to feel it within.

Radhika slowly settled in his arm, resting her head over his shoulder. She was not feeling comfortable, she wanted to hold him more closer, she turned to his side, and then lifting her head up, she rested over his upper chest wrapping her arm around his broader chest, keeping her leg over his, and adjusted slightly to mold into that space.

Dev feeling her comfortably resting over him, murmered: ye hui na bath, yehi tho mere sapna tha.

The lighting bug which was giving that sprkling light inside, flew slightly high , near to the winodw and then flew away into that darkness and dispappered. The stars up in the high twinkled its eyes seeing the family sleeping. Dev with a smile tightened his arms around his Radhika, and she with a shy smile moved her lips near to his neck space and placed a warm kiss.

Dev murmered: not enough

Radhika tried to hide her shy smile again, but heard him saying: not enough, I want more,

Feeling teasy and knowing his limitations she tickled him on his side

Dev: ye ye, Radhika, no no, not that , I asked for more kiss, don't tickle me

Radhika taking advantage of the situation again tickled him

Dev: Radhikaa

Radhika coming near his ears: this is your punishment, for tickling me in the midst of everyone

Dev: For that, ! why you are blaming me, you were looking very beautiful in that green saree, and your skin was glowing , on the top these people were priasing you , and then then

Dev seeing her resting back, losing the hope : that's it

Radhika didn't say anything

Dev in his lowest voice: ok, let me see you tomorrow what will be your excuse then, you need to compensate for all these now

Radhika just smiled holding him tight and she counted his heartbeats as the time ticked away..
