It's the story of the moon and that white lily, she waited so long to see its lover up above in the sky, but as his eyes fell on her, her gaze lowered unable to meet those lovable eyes.

Dev stroked his hand over her upper arm, as she cued more into his body. His breath was falling over her head, and its warmth penetrated through those curly layers and settled over her heart. She knew he is tired, and might have not slept for days, and he knew she is tired and might have dozed off many times with an expectation to wake up even for Chudki's small movement, as I am not here with her, and she needs to be taken care of his little princess.

Radhika unaware of that sheepish smile on her face, tried to scribbles more on his skin, with her widely open eyes , and fluttery heart. And for a moment, she turned slightly and her parted lips touched his chest again, and she remained there holding her breath for few moment, and then shyly hide her face back in his chest completely.

His heart skipped a beat feeling her lips , for listening to his words, and he saw her chrisom red cheeks inside his mind even in that darkness near to his heart. She knew he can see it even without facing him, and that thought ...deepen the color of her cheek more, and her skin burned inside out, and the warmth of it just radiated into his skin.

Time ticked by and the darkness gave way to the new hope that was awakening at the farthest end of east. She felt the heaviness in her chest, and somewhere the nerves send those painful sensations, which felt slightly uncomfortable and woke her up from her comfortable sleep. Her hand moved up to hold her chest once and then tightening her forehead her throat expelled those "ahhh" sound softly. Realizing herself sleeping in his hold, she controlled her discomfort within her , and then slowly lifted her head up and looked at his sleeping face. But the pain sensation did not let her stay in that position longer.

She slowly moved inside his hold and slipped out from his hold. She moved her arms out and felt those wetness around her dress material, few drops of tears fallen down, and she looked at her baby who was sleeping still comfortably in her papa's arms.

"Maaa" the wet sound came out quickly

Surprisingly turning around, Rohini: "Radhika, woke up so early"

She called again : "maaa"

Sensing the pain in her sound , Rohini came near: are you ok?

Radhika: it so painful mom

Rohini holding her daughter: didn't you feed chudki as usual

Radhika no mom, she didn't even wake up once and I don't know when I dozzed off that I woke up with this discomfort.

Rohini: Oh Radhika, where is the baby?

Radhika: she is still sleeping

Rohini: wake her up, tried to feed her, otherwise you will be in big trouble beta, come I can help you.

Radhika: but mom

Rohini in a hurry turned the stove off, and then went along with Radhika. She turned the light on, and then went near Dev and Chudki. She smiled seeing both of them sleeping comfortably.

Rohini softly: no wonder,how she will wake up if she get this warmth., let me try to wake her up.

Radhika was unable to walk that she stood at the door side holding onto her chest.

Rohini: you go sit in Dadi's room, I will get chudki

As if hearing the murmering around, Dev opened his eyes and saw the light and then Rohini standing near

Dev; maaji , aap!

Rohini : sorry beta, you sleep, I need chudki, she needs to be fed

Dev turned sideways to look at his baby and said: she is sleeping comfortably, why to wake her up?

Rohini: she needs to be fed beta, or else it will be difficult for radhika

He did not understand anything but he let Rohini take Chudki from his hold. He tried to sit up scanning around for Radhika

Rohini: no beta, you sleep, I will take care of them. Once she fed, I can get her back. Ok

Dev : no , I am fine, where is Radhika?

Rohini: she is in dadi's room, you sleep , ok.

Dev: ji

Understanding her pain, Rohini: Radhika , I will be right back, ok.

Rohini came up quickly with hot water and she dipped the towel in that and then squeezing all those wetness away inot that big vessel, she put that around her daughter's chest.

Chudki was taken away from her food and was laying in dadai's arms. She twitched her lips showing her discomfort, and she cued and then her throat started making that starving howl slowly, for taking her away.

Dadi trying to pacify the little one in her arms: aha, all this time you slept well, and now when your grandma took you away from your food, you are showing your real color. Now you have to wait, no other option. See poor mom, she is in pain. Why didn't you wake up all night, hu?

Rohini: how can she? She was sleeping comfortably in her papa's arms. What else she need

Dadi: oh really, no wonder, then that means our radhika rani too slept well throughout night.

Radhika was feeling some relief with that warm towel around , and she soon took her baby back in her arms, and fed her slowly. Time ticked by and she felt much better, as she listened to dadi and her mom's talk.

Rohini took the baby in her arms and tapped on her back to get that burp out. And chudki lay back in bed with wide open eyes and she smiled at her dadi

Dadi: I know why you are smiling now, if you spoil my bed, I will see you for sure

Radhika: don't worry dadima, she is still wearing the nappy

Dadi: I know that, otherwise also who is complaining if she wet my bed.

Chudki smiled wide

Rohini: Radhika , go and take a shower, let her be near dadi, now anyway her stomach is full, and she will be playing. Dev is still sleeping, so let him sleep ok. I will also be done with my cooking soon too.

Radhika walked into her room and then slowly closed the washroom door. Time ticked by and she came out from the shower feeling all fresh, and with a relief smile got into light violet house dress. Keeping that smile on her lips, she took the towel off from her wet hair and tried to move it in scrubbing motion thru the length of her hair... to get it dry as much as possible. She took a small bindi from the drawer and stick that over her forehead, and smiled consciously once looking into the mirror. Somewhere inside she was able to feel that pull, which made her to blush from within.

"where is my princess"

Radhika jerked hearing Dev's sleepy voice.

"Hu?"

yarning lightly in bed, he asked again: where is my little princess?

Radhika : In dadi's room

Dev: what she is doing there, I told mom to bring her back

Radhika still looking into the mirror: she is wide awake and playing, so mom thought not to disturb you.

Dev: why?

Radhika: I think she came to know that you didn't sleep whole night.

Dev widening his eyes: how do you know that?

Radhika trying to hide her smile: I know

Dev: muhum

Dev looked at her, as she was tying her wet hair within a knot, and the length of it just fallen to her back lavishly.

Radhika throw the towel on the nearby rack, and then looked at him, who is still laying in bed.

To her surprise the bed was empty.

She turned to look and found him standing near the door , closing the door ajar.

"what are you doing there?' She asked naturally

Dev with a childish smile: going to steal a moment with my wife, who missed me a lot, who troubled me whole night, who...

Radhika forced her voice out: who me, how did I trouble you?

Dev walking near her: oh ya, you don't know, come I will tell you

Radhika: no I need to go, chudki may be looking for me

Dev with the same smile: Radhika, maybe I did not get much time with chudki, but I know her littlebit by now, so your excuse is not going to work out Radhika.

She felt her throat feeling dry, and she suddenly turned herself to face away from him.

Coming behind, he wrapped his arms around her and bringing his lips near to her ears, he said: why you are trying to hide your blushing cheek, I can see and feel it how much ever you try to hide those away.

She skipped a heartbeat and stood there in his embrace.

The smell of fresh morning mixed with her aroma that inhaled into his nostrils awaken his inner senses, and he felt the due drops from the mist of night from the unevenly spread out wet hair on her back, which still remained as a shiled between them.

Dev closing his eyes and tightening his arms around her: you are the scent of the morning, and the color of your cheek is giving th shades to the morning sky , giving all these living thing a moment to cherish, to look at you and forget the world around. I missed you so much Radhika, so much.

Radika closed her eyes and for that moment she just wanted to immerse in his love.

A lightening pass thru her as she felt his lips near her ears, and he slowly nibbled on her soft earlobe, and in between those lost moment he murmured: I miss you so much.

Unable to take those tickling feelings, she turned her neck away, that gave him more space to shower those kisses, which just resulted in popping off those goose bumps and she struggled hard in his hold.

He enjoyed it and he kept on tickling her more.

Finally she said: leave me, please, its so ticklish

Dev with a smile; told you , you need to compensate, you were enjoying it fully when you were tickling me, and now

Radhika: when did I tickle you? you are caging me in your arms

Dev: I can set you free, but I am sure you will fly back into my arms back..,

Radhika: no I won't, you are selfish

Dev loosened his grip and said: ok here I am opening the lock, and the cage is open, now you can fly away to the horizon, and i will wait for you right here...

Taking those hard breaths in and exhaling it loud, she said: yes I want to fly away, hiding my colorful cheeks from you, but for now, I want to be in your cage, I want to be the slave of your love, you can chain me as you wish, but never let me go.

He moved his face back and looked once into her longing eyes whixh was looking like a petal of lotus flower, unable to resist back, he showered her eyes, her cheeks, her lips with kisses , he chained her into him with his warmth of love, and in that moment she lost herself and she became a feather in his hold, and he lifted her up softly and placed her onto the bed.

The moment just felt magical for both of them, and soon he got dipped into her color of love, and she with a serene smile wrapped her arms around his tired body, and he rested his face near her chest, listening to her heartbeat. The blushing at the horizon faded away to bright lights as the sun shines upon the sky in its full energy...
