Part 150 : Bidaii of Lechu, with Dev's dreams...
Radhika noticed the two were talking on a corner, and she walked near to them. As she neared she saw Sammy's confused face.
Sammy raised his face to look at Radhika as if asking her about Dev's talk
As she neared them Sammy: bhabhi, what Bro is saying I am not understanding, why he has to leave to chandenpur, what is going on?
Radhika coming near: I don't know either Sammy. I am also trying to understand it in full sense
Dev with a smile: ye, you two, be cool ok. Don't worry about my plans, it will go fine.
Radhika: what about papa and Suhci mom
Dev with a confident tone: they will surely accept it too Radhika, they never stood against my way any time..
RAdhika: but that and this has big difference
Sammy: ha Bro, what I understood is, you are planning to stay back in chandenpur for ever, right?
Radhika: stay back in chandenpur forever!
Sammy: ha, I mean, if you are thinking of helping dadaji and take care of him and buva, then that means you are moving to chandenpur only, right
Radhika looked at Dev, and Dev tried to give a smily face and said to Sammy; Ha Sammy, I think you can bend it that way too
Radhika: so it confirmed in your mind then
Dev: Radhika, if I say it as last word , then "yes"
Sammy: but bro, what about
Dev trying to change the topic: oh dear, both of you, leave that tension to me, and Sammy I just gave you a heads up as I may go back with dadaji and buva soon, so make your plans to move to Delhi as soon as possible. All this time you were staying with your friends here and now plnning to move to a flat, but if you can then move into this house, or near by where Mom and dad can reach you quick. I am glad it never got finalized yet, so I hope you will consider my request.
Sammy looked at Dev
Dev tapped on his shoulder giving him the confidence.
Vicky came running: ye Sammy, all are waiting for you, its time to leave
Radhika: OMG! Actually I came to call you only and see, come let's go
As they were walking sammy's mind: what is happening today, why couldn't bro wait for another day to tell me all these, now when Lehcu comes to know about it, how she will react?
As if reading his mind , Dev: Sammy, don't worry, everything will go fine ok.
Sammy just looked again and walked along.
As they neared, sammy's eyes gone wide seeing the tears in Lechu's eyes: oh God! Now what? He suddenly went near and said : Lechu I was here only, you thought i left without you? hu? how can you even think about it Lechu? or did Bro talk to you too.
Sammy's mom: Oh Sammy, its her bidaii time, she is going to leave her own home, and what are you talking at this time...
Sammy: what? I thought she already missed me. Lechu believe it is all because of Bro only... now I am also in confusion
Sammy was in total confusion after Dev's talk
Sammy: Lechu don't worry, I will fix everything ok, we will come back soon ok.
Suchi tried to control her smile as wiping her tears
Sammy turning to Suchi: Mom , you too, after all you all know me na, we are not going any where ok, we are here only, but no cries, it is sammy's marriage, and Sammy came to take his dulhaniya, so it should be a happy moment, no space for any teras, all should be happy happy..
and then looking at Lechu: do you want to stay some more time now, then you can, its fine, but no cries. Ok
Lehcu looked at him puzzled , so did surrender and suchi., & sammy's prents: what happened to you Sammy?
Sammy: what!
Surender came forward and held his daughter's hand and walked with her to the dholi: come beta
Sammy: Wait a minute dad, i have a different idea
Srender: what now, the dholi is here , then what's the new idea.
Sammy: let me make it little different, sammy style
Surender paused and looked at Lechu : you chose the right person, right?
Lechu tried to bring a tearful smile
But to everyone's surprise Sammy looked where the horsy was standing, he made his qiuck move and then like a warrior, he stepped over it with a swing of a motion and t then made his move towards Surender and Lechu.
Mithi: I thought he is afraid of the horsy?
Vicki: I think deedi got mistaken imaginging Sammy like that, we only knos how well he can ride on it, he can even do his balle, balle over it, still he will keep his control over it.
Within seconds sammy stopped his horsy near Surender and extnded his arm towards Lechu.
Lechu looked at him puzzled
Sammy in a hero style: arre, ajana mere dulhaniya
Lehcu again stood in confusion.
Dev with a smile coming near, helped his sis to climb on it, next to Sammy, and holding his fearful bride closer , he gave a smile to everyone. All the tears gave way to that surprise look.
Sammy looking at everyone :So all happy now and then winking his eye to Dev: thanks Bro
Surender: we all are always happy Sammy, and it is the tears of happiness., so don't worry
Sammy: then what's thje wait for, let's go
she shook on the wire in his hand and soon the horse took its move.
As they disappeared fromt he site
Smamy's mom: how he will ride on it on this street?
Dev: don't worry maaji, he will make it.
Smamy's mom just smiled and went along...

The dim light was giving enough light for Radhika to see her husband's smile in that darkness...
Radhika: please tell me now about everything
Dev with a smile: I said it all Radhika, we are going back to chandenpur with dadaji and buva
Radhika: for how long
Dev: till all the dreams come true
Radhika: what dream?
Dev: dadaji's , mine and maybe tomorrow our RUhi's
Radhika: dadaji's dream , your dream!!!!what is all that?
Dev resting his head back in Radhika's lap: ha Radhika, when I first heard about chandenpur, I was not knowing what to expect, for me I was so much enthusiastic to see the scenery, my trip was totally was unknown to me, I just watched the passing street with a smile on my face until I reached that curve where I stopped to an unknown villager's shout to stop the car, and where my eyes caught the sight of big group of buffalos, ...and in that darkness, an unknown face recognizing my dad's face and showing the unbelievable reaction., and my heart beat just increased as I stepped at the haweli, where I met my granny, dadaji and buva, I felt so strange, and not felt any closeness to any of them even after knowing who they are, haweli was just another stop over in that long journey for me.
...But everything turned very close to me when you came into my life, and with you the chandenpur also became my part, and it became so dear when I came to know about your dreams, your dreamy eyes, somewhere I also wish to be that PRINCE of your dreams.
... Some where down the line unknowingly I started loving all that strange talks and all that dreams, without my knowledge I became a part of all that THRU YOU,
...thru your dreams I was able to connect to buva, dadaji,
... thru you I was existing for them from my childhood.
...Dadji once told me before our trip to U.S.about how much he is missing you, more than him buva was missing you, so in other words, they were missing me too.
...You actually filled everyone's gap Radhika, thru your little talks, you not only brought my life but you kept them (dadaji adn buva, granny) connected to dad too. Along with babuji's help haweli had a life and they all Babuji survived, but now I want to take over, I want to be present, and I want to make it happen Radhika.
Radhika just listened to his dreamy talk without saying any word out
Dev looked at Radhika who is still looking at him surprisingly
Dev in his mind: and more than anything I want to bring back smile on your face, your dreams, your giggle which you lost for long years now. I tried, I know you are happy, but I want that radhika back, who had just me and then who was just that free spirit girl who was enjoying everything around her, chandenpur is actually waiting for you , your return... I need you back Radhika.
With a smile he called out: Radhika..., radhika
Um" she slightly jerked
Dev: where did you get lost, so you were not listening to me, right?
RAdhika: ha I do, but
Dev sitting back; Radhika, I know you are thinking about dad and mom, they will agree radhika, just like my dadaji,
...you know what, when I came in search of you, santinagar, I met an annoying driver, I was in tension thinking about you, but he was filling me with his dreams and his son's dreams. He was proud to say that his son is working abroad, he was proud to say about his son's dreams to buy a posh car for him, and be the traveler instead of the driver of it. But then he broke down at the last minute , the real person in him talked to me...
when I was all close to see you, he left me. And I met agian one of that face which flashed my eyes for few minutes , I was able to recollect that face later, I remember bringing a bottle of water for that driver, it was his daughter in law's face, so that nameless driver met his destiny, and now maybe living in peace, getting the little ones in a safer place. I don't know his name Radhika, but he left his foot step for me to follow something, to connect his dreams to his son and showed me how everything turned out to be. His son might have earned so much money and fame, but the reality doesn't have any value to that.. in that last moments from his talk, i relaized he wished for his son to be near him, his family, his kids, than that money or that posh car which his son dreamed off...
...Dadaji never dreamed of anything radhika, it is just that small wish he has, to see the greenery around, see the fruit bunches around, see the happy faces around. And now I want to be a part of it, nothing else.
Holding her face in his palms he asked: will you stand with me Radhika
Radhika didn't say anything for few minutes, just looked at him and then softly said: I don't know what you are trying to say, you are telling me so many things, dadaji's dream, your dream, a driver's and his son'sdream, an unknown face which flashed away.. it all connectd to your new decision, and for me, I only need your peace of mind, the real smile, I have seen you struggling these days, I wish I could dig all that out, but I am not a part of it completely, and now I can see the smile in you, after talking to papa, you had this confidence and you are back to normal as you are, so if this new decision is what you think is giving that peace of mind, then let's go on, I am with you.
Saying she just wrapped her arms aroud him and embraced him
Dev with a smile: ye hui na bath.

Next day Dadaji and Buva was getting ready to go back to chandenpur along with Mohan and Rohini
Dev: don't worry babuji, lehcu and all coming tomorrow, so she specifically told me that she want you to be here, so after that we all come back together.
Dadaji: vo Dev, it may be late beta
Dev: dadaji, I told na, Lechu and Sammy will be really happy to see you both here, so no more late, only two more days ok
Dadaji just looked at Sushma and she nodded her head in silence to agree with Dev's decision
Dadaji: ok beta, whatever you say.
Surender looked at Suchi in surprise: that never happened with me, Dev is just taking over all the decision and babuji is just listening like a kid . Suchi smiled seeing Surender's confused face.
