Part 161: Mamma has a baby in her tummy...
It was around afternoon time and Ruhi was taking nap in her room. Radhika was getting some courage to come out and face others with her daily course seeing her napping child. But still she could count her beating heart easily.
Sushma was making sweet for Suchi to take, back to Delhi. Radhika went to help, and was around with stirring the boiling pot and crushing the nuts. The smell from the pot started filling the air and Radhika felt from nose down to her throat is filling with the heavy aroma of sweetness, that she felt a sudden vacuum over her tummy. She tried to ignore it and continued with her work. But soon it got intolerable to her that she ran to the washroom.
Sushma noticed Radhika running away and asked loudly : Radhika , are you ok?
Keeping the flame to low, Sushma followed her, and ended up hearing big gags from inside. Sushma kept on knocking at the door asking "are you ok?". No replies came except the gags.
Listening to Sushma's voice , Suchi and Lechu came in
They also waited patiently. Radhika tried to settle herself, she washed her face few times in that cold water, she could still feel that discomfort in her stomach, she could feel all that sweetness in her throat giving her a feel of fullness. Hearing the knock at the door, Radhika slowly opened the door. Her weak body stood holding onto the door side.
"Kya huva beta, you ok?" suchi came to hold her with concern.
"Don't know mom, still not feeling good" Radhika tried hard to hold still on her feet.
Lechu went and called surrender and he came running to the scene, but by then Radhika was falling more into Suchi's arms, and Suchi was trying to hold her still. Soon she was taken to her room, and Radhika closed her eyes to the darkness for few minutes.
Surender looked at Suchi in concern, while Suchi was trying to count on her pulse. Time ticked by. Lechu came in with a bowl of water, and Suchi sprinkled that over her face. The sense of water drops on her facial skin awaken her , and radhika slowly tried to open her eyes.
Radhika tried to sit up, but then Suchi asked everyone to go out for few minutes to get them some privacy.
Lechu: dad, can I call Bro?
Surender: ha beta, but wait, let see what mom has to say'
Lechu: but I already called Sammy and told him.
Surender: that's ok, let see
Lechu: Sammy said they are coming
Surender: Lechu, you should have waited na, now they might have scared
Lechu: let me call again
Surender: ya , tell them that Radhika is doing fine.

She went to call, as Suchi opened the door with a smile on her face

The smile just grow with the realization inside, and SUrender : ha, that's a happy news, how is Radhika now

Sammy looked at Lechu in confusion and found her hiding her smile, he raised his brows to ask her about the situation, lechu gave a smile back.
Dev: Buva, vo radhika
Susha; I know , I know. Its all because of you, so only I stopped you right here, anyway Mohan bhayya and all is coming, so you wait, and you give reasoning and then only you will be allowed inside
Dev" : what ? How is Radhika? Sammy told me she got sick after eating the sweet something.
Sushma's eyes gone wide and she looked at Sammy

Dev sweeping her in his arms, felt some heaviness inside, and then soon it came out with a smile on his face, and it just grown on his lips

Suchi walking out:: No need her to repeat, I am just imagining how my son will handle two kids, one is already on your shoulder
" not two, radhika rani's wish is for eight"
Sushma came in with smile
Suchi: 8!!!!!!
Sushma: remember her wish, so more happy news are on its way , just wait and see

Radhika's eyes were closed and she was clinging onto the sheet that was covering her body , Silently he went and sat near her, just looking at her peaceful face.
The image just flashed in front of him, when he realized about her pregnancy for the first time with Ruhi inside. A tear drop peeked in as the pale face of Radhika came in front of him;. But now, she is just in front of his eyes when the news came out, unable to hold back, he tried to move closer to her forehead to stamp his feelings of happiness.
But then lechu appeared near the door and said: Bro, dadaji is calling you
Dev sat back quick and looked at the door corner and no one was seen there. With a smile, he looked back at Radhika and walked out, and closed the door behind.
Time ticked by. Radhika slowly woke up from her nap. She felt tired, but then tried to sit , she felt some relief as the aroma of the sweets and spices blown away from the air. She got up and went to the washroom to feel fresh.
Suddenly her eyes caught a yellow flower laying on the pillow. With a smile she picked that rose from there and tried to smell it, a shy smile appeared on her face, imagining Dev placing it near her. But then why he didn't wake me up? maybe because he didn't want to. Picking that flower in her hand she sat there for some more time.
As she came out, everyone was getting ready to leave. Radhika stood on a corner listening to the family talk all around, and her eyes scanned for Dev around
Lechu: Bhabhi: are you looking for Bro, he went out with Ruhi to pluck some fruits for us to take.
Radhika just smiled, and went with helping Suchi. Suchi just generally gave her reminders. Soon Dev and Ruhi came back. Dev glanced at Radhika as he was coming in placing the fruit basket outside.
Radhika's gaze fell down, with little shyness and colored cheeks.
Dev felt like holding her tight in his embrace, but then the voice of his family , brought him back to reality, that he went with getting things in car for them.
Soon the party drove away. Time flew by and the light gave way to the darkness
Sushma : Dev, Ruhi slept in my room already, so don't wake her up ok. I will take care of her.
Dev : Ji, buva
Dev went and sat near Dadaji and they were having a good chat around.
Everyone retired to their room, and Dev also walked into their room. Radhika was waiting for him, standing near the open window side, holding the yellow flower.
Soon she felt the circling arms around her, and unable to hold back, she just turned and hugged him tight, and with a smile Dev held her closer. Didn't speak for a while, and slowly the silence broke with Radhika's soft voice: happy?
Dev: um
Radhika: me too
Saying that she hugged him more tight.
" feeling tired?" Dev asked in concern
:umhum, not at all, I am fine, just hold me like this"
Dev with a smile, moved his face slightly back to look at her face, and then loosening his grip, he just lifted her up in his arms

Slowly he walked out and Radhika just cling to his neck more tight.
The night was calm and quiet, and the gentle breeze was blowing by. Dev placed his Radhika on that manchal slowly and then sat nearby.
Radhika looked into his eyes and so did he. His hand went behind her neck and slowly untied those braids. Her hair made its wavy movements with the wind, and she looked at him more lovingly. Gazing deep into her eyes his lips mumbled: I love you Radhika
Radhika 's eyes just smiled along with him, and with more of enthusiasm to hear from him more, her eyeballs moved corner to corner. Seeing her impatience, Dev slowly placed a soft kiss over her forehead, and then on her both eyes lids.
Radhika sat silently , waiting for him to talk more
Dev pointing at the moon: look at that smiley moon, this moonlighted night and the serene nature , the breeze and the beauty, giving me the feel that I am that full moon, and looking at my princess, who is just beautiful as a white lily in a beautiful pond, in a beautiful garden, where the flowers are blinking seeing us from above the sky... Dev's hand just moved over her neck skin , up to behind her ears, giving a shiver to her body.
...Radhika , I wish this night to never end, give us time to be together like this, I just want to see the smile on your face, which came back to your face after a long struggle, and now we are going to have another baby, and in this journey we two are together, and then after a pause : you know who told me about the happy news?
