ekta: thank you to you, for still being with me dear. and still have those kind words for me . But i started hearign the voice which is asking me to slow down too. too much to take na. Oh dear, i am tooo busy that i am actually trying hard to find the time to update.Not even getting time to check the forum, missing all the discussions.. wish i was free, then i would have really met avina by now. my legs and hands are totally tied, but still trying little time to be here atleast with my FF.. i expected this , so only i thought to wrap up, because don't like when someone wait for me. i prefer to be there early and wait for them.

But i want to respect few readers belief, or their words, so moving on with slower pace, and it is place for me to relx too. i am loving this current track so much, have so much to talk about it too.. regarding dev. padma, berkha, chayya, radhika, mansaram.. wish i had that time to sit and follow up too.. but sometimes it is all out of reach... so now even fo i feel something, i will thread it here only, as i won't be checking back on forum.. so catch you here ekta..like this but once in every week for SURE, would love to meet more, but let see..

@myra: thank you so much.. for seeing the growth of Dev.. exactly i tried to say that only.. but your words gave more meaning to it.. so i thnak you.. because i cna only write scenes , it depends on how you percieve it and that may eb totally different from my imagination.. but reading your response the wavelength is same, so thnak you

@radhika%; thank you, yes, along with dev, radhika too came across so many things, which she might have never thought of, she is learnign to live in relaitywith his prince.. so let see will she ever go abck to her dreamworld..

@hari: thanks dear. yes, sushma's little past will come out, maybe along with Dev's realization of more things. for that he needs to be left alone, to fly back into those darken past of Bhatt family... and he will bring that smile on everyone's face, once again... let see

@laxmi: thank you dear for your kind words. the more i get tensed in my real world, the more i slip into the dreamworld. i told my friend , i visit there to relax and he got surprised and asked me"how can you relax visiting there, it is always a how, wehn, what?'.. i am like, i just dream about the best thing possible for radev, then it will eb so light to take it... so thank you for traveling with my dream, my imagination and liking it...

@ekta; you said right, one doesn't need to be physically present all the time to shower his/her love, if you can feel it from a distance, then you are truely blessed and i have seen many couples .. they maybe standing next to each other yet very apart from each other. Radhika went thru that once, but now she can cross even that physical distance and can feel him near her and Dev knows that completely.

@vini: thanks dear, yes they will meet soon, but prior to that i need to take you back, this seperation is not meant ofr sadness, let's make it a beautiful dream with few scenes that can bring a smile on your face.. let see how everything wil come out..

@abhi: thank you. Not gettign enough of dev and Chudki. Now chudki is so mall, she sleeps most of the time, she need her mom near her, but wait for her to crawl around and then let her slwoly stand on her feet, she will pull on his leg and ask him to take her a also with him.. hopefully i cna get there qucik, let see.. but prior to that i need to settle something.. so its all coming up... Radhika went in depression sooo deep a that she refsed to come back to relaity, and she came back slowly in a different environemnt where she learned to look at things, look at others, and then she came back to him, and together they started dreaming of their little one.. and now, she grown from the state of a wife to a mom, and she got the oppertunity to take that responsibility as her mom got busy with other things and she learned so much and she loves him so much , than in a dream...

@masumasrlanka: thank you for your kind words. new FF.. thnaks for letting me knwo that you can tolerate me more.. but sorry dear, no more. this is my last FF, which i was ready to finish one week back. but still hanging around as it is difficult to leave you all in peace. ha ha ha i got the habit of intruding your days.. with a diffrence that i won't be disturbing you every day, but once in a while , like this. THERE WON"T BE A NOTHER FF FROM ME DEAR or any write ups. this is what it is, and let see how long it will stay... once again thanks for liking my way writing..

Thank you freinds for your time to get back with me. i know i was keep on telling that i am ending this FF soon right, and still i am here.. just respecting the words of two members, and i will be here around for some more time, not daily, but atleast weekly once ... sorry if i miss any of your great post out there, i am not checking the main forum... just coming to post the update only.. and maybe now onwards with scattered thoguhts as it comes to my mind...

Part 141: Those sweet moments

Tucking a smile on her lips corner, Suchi walked into her home holding Ruhi in her arms

Surender: let me hold her Suchi, you go and freshen up

Suchi: I am totally fine, you go and freshen up, let me show her the house

Lechu secretly to Radhika: do they know that we are also with them

Radhika just smiled

Soon her cell made its musical sound

Lechu: correct timing

Radhika with a smile ansewerd it : ha, just reached... ha... Ruhi is with mom, she did fine...

Lechu: how many times you said that on the way, and is he still repeating the same question?.

Radhika smiled at lechu

Suchi seeing Radhika : Radhika , you go and freshen up and all, Ruhi looking fine, so before she start her tantrums you go ahead and change, ok.

Radhika : ji

And she went up carrying the baby bag in her hand along with keeping the line-on with Dev

Radhika entered their room: ha I just entered into our room, she scanned around and continued: did you paint this room, ...oh then maybe mom's idea. Um nice color,... ha, wow! There is a nice bassinet too, looking so cute, ha ,... ha,... will call you back. Um, ...ok

Time went quick for Radhika as she got engaged in settling Ruhi's things around. Suchi made sure Radhika has everything nearby and asked her to call out in case if she needs help as Radhika assured Suchi that she will be able to manage Ruhi by herself.

Radhika was tapping slowly onto her little ones leg, looking at her sleepy face.Closing the door behind she walked near to her bed. The outer layer of her cream color soft long nighty was waving with the wind that was rushing in through the window. She felt little chilly that she went and closed the window panel and then pulled the curtains over to the center. Keeping that dim light on she went to bed, her arms moved over the other side, and looked at the empty space. Taking a deep breath she took her cell and dialed and as expected he answerd it after one ring.

Radhika smiled listening to him: why you took so long? Is Ruhi slept?

Radhika just moved her throat in response softly : um ...

Dev: I know, you don't want to wake her up, right? But tell me, how you are feeling , getting back into our home

Radhika with a smile and softly: wish it was the old color.

Dev: why? Don't you like the new color?

Radhika: ha, that time the room was holding your scent , now it's the new paint smell all around

Dev with a smile: do one thing, you check in that cupboard, my perfume is right there at the middle slot, just spray it around, that will take care of it..

Radhika: don't tease me ok, i said because here everything is new, including the sheets

Dev: that is not for you, for our angel, maybe mom might have changed everything in

Radhika: ha, including their room, you should see , now mom's room is like kid's little park, Lechu showed me everything. I am glad Ruhi is here now, and I can see mom and papa's happiness. Mom was teasing papa asking whether he is going to office tomorrow or not

Their small talk went on till Ruhi woke up, and dev listened to his little ones demanding throat, and radhika kept the phone near her little ears; Ruhi went in sudden silence hearing the voice near her ear, and she looked at her mom's face in surprise, and started concentrating. Radhika smiled seeing her response and she took the phone and told him how she is responding

Dev proudly: see she knows it is her papa, whenever she complaints, just call me ok, I can calm her down.

Radhika: um um

Dev; why umum um

Radhika: her lips started shrinking, before she wakes up everyone in this house, let me comfort her ok

Dev: ok ok, love you radhika.

Radhika: love you too, now go to bed, its too late, you need to go to the doctor's office , right?, call me right after ok

Dev: what about in the morning

Radhika with a smile: I just meant, right after meeting Dr. too,... morning even if you don't call, I will bug you, what if your little princess show her tantrums

Dev: tantrum!, Radhika she is so little

Suddenly the soft complaining throat opened wide to grab her mom's full attention

Radhika: ha, listen to her now, so little na, then with a smile; goodnight

Dev: goodnight but then suddenly; ye, ye, wait, I didn't get my huk

Radhika: what huk? Goodnight,

But then Ruhi just went at her loudest voice ,that Rahdika cut the phone , and took her in her arms

Soon Suchi showed up at the door, Radhika heard the knocking, holding Ruhi in her arms, she walked near to the door

Suchi: is everything ok beta?

Radhika; ha mom, she just woke up, so

Suchi sat with Radhika and shared their little time , talking about Ruhi's little routines and then Suchi tried to burp the little one, asking Radhika to take rest.

Radhika : its ok mom, I got used to it now.

Dev woke up with the cell ring, and he surprised to hear the little ones 'uuu, uuu ,mmm" sound. With a smile" oh, my..! good morning my little princess... so you woke up already, I think you need to be near me to get that good sleep, your mamma don't know anything, ...right? See how many times you had to wake up in the middle of the night, right? When you come to papa, we will sleep the whole night ok, and in the morning time too.

Suddenly Radhika: ye, this is your alarm clock now, thought to make you happy and now you two are talking about me, ok then I am going to cut the call.

Dev: Radhika, let me talk to her, why you are coming in the middle,

Radhika: I can hear your sleepy voice, but still you want to talk to her... oh , so now it is you and your little one, ok then, you two talk,

Dev with a smile: um, ye hui na bath, and ha don't listen to our talk, ok.

Radhika again held the phone near her little ones ears and said loudly: here you go

Dev heard his little one again

Dev: ha, I am back baby, see your mamma is so jealous, that she is not letting me talk to you. You tell her you want to hear my voice ok, you know how your mamma was. um...That I will tell you later, but now we were talking about sleep , right?.You know how good it is to sleep in this morning time, see in papa's room, the windows are open and the cold chilly air is circling around, and I am snuggled under a nice comforter, and don't want to wake up at all. And I tell you this chandenpur air smells so fresh , and I can even smell the fragrance of the morning, I think it was raining last night as I can smell the earth.

Radhika was listening to Ruhi's 'uuu uuu' sound all thru and then in between her loud smiles. Her feet were making that soft drummy movements on the bed, and she tightened her tiny fist hard and held them near her chest and made those happy shakes of her body. Radhika loved it so much ,and she said in mind: what are you telling to your papa? Hu, is he understanding anything, can he see your smile, your happiness, hu?

Time passed by, soon she noticed Ruhi scratching on her face , showing her tiredness

Radhika: papa, your little one is tired now, ok. Now you also get up and get ready, buava maybe ready with the breakfast already

Dev with a smile: I didn't get my huk yesterday, so

Radhika with a shy smile: better be a good boy and get ready, I need to get ready and go down too. I think mom is coming up , maybe papa is waiting impatiently to see Ruhi, now she is all tired now, but still

Dev: ha ha, you have so many excuses now, once I get there, then let me see what is your excuse, it is not going to work out Radhika.

Radhika: call me after meeting the Dr. ok. Mom is here

Dev smiled keeping the phone away, he slowly tried to open his eyes, but then feeling that chill around, he snuggled in again under that comforter saying... " oh my princess, she doesn't know anything, there is still time to sleep, goodnight"

Later that morning

Dev: buva, the appointment is around 3 PM, we need to start around 1.45, ok

Sushma: ha, I will be ready

Dev: dadaji, I am just going out for a walk, next time I will take you too

Dadaji: next time,... it will take me for a while dear, that time you will be in Delhi

Dev turning back: you never know dadaji, maybe this time, Dr may tell you take that short walk outside, and then you don't have any excuse

Dadaji with a smile; I don't mind that short walk prior to his approval, I feel like you are tying me more into this restrictions.

Sushma: ha Dev. It is because of you he is staying back, otherwise who will listen to my words

Dev: don't worry Buva, oneday dadaji and me will run around the whole chandenpur roads and when we come back you have to cook doble the quantity of this breakfast

Sushma with a smile: I will be happy to cook anything you like, dear.

Dev with a smile walked away plucking a leaf on his way out.

Sushma looking at his disappearing figure: he is making me thirsty to dream once again

Dadaji: for few days, yes you can ... but not beyond that,learn to live in this reality, don't slip intot hat world where your dadi lived, that world can only pass time, not the truth.

Sushma looked back at her babuji's face once and then went in with a gloomy face.

Dev was walking through the muddy path, looking around. Few villagers passed him and he tried to share a smile with everyone. Few kids ran pass by and he heard the voice loud " I am still waiting for the black beauty to come". Dev stopped and turned to look at those kids, but they went in that trail of their fast pace, as if they don't have time to see his reaction. Dev with a smile started walking again, thinking 'are they serious about it, or just joking at me, they should know that I am a normal human being just like them".

He walked near the river bank. Suddenly he heard feeble sound of kids murmuring something very very secretly. He looked around and his gaze went up to the nearby tree. He saw a little one standing under the tree all alone. He walked near to him.

Dev: why are you standing alone, where is your freinds?

The little one just pointed up his finger and Dev followed the finger point, ...with a warning sign of: shhh.

He found few feet stable on few branches, and curiously looking into something

Dev gazed down at the little one

The little one: I am afraid to climb the trees, Radhika deedi only taught them how to climb, and now no one is willing to take me with them, thinking I may fall off. I didn't even born when Radhika deedi left this place, you know, I wish she stayed back for me too. When I see her prince, I will ask him to bring her back to us.

Dev kneeled down: prince! When you said Radhika as deedi, why can't you say him as your brother, or

The little one: it is always the prince who take the princess away, and go far far away,and never comes back

Dev: but your deedi was here few days ago, she didn't go any far away

Little one: no she did, she never comes to us now, she always stay back inside her house, I waited out here for her many times, to ask her to take me also with her, to show all around here, to play with the fishies under that water fall, to stamp that fern leaves on my forearm

Dev: that you can do yourself too dear, you don't need anybody's help

Little one: but I wish I meet her once, just like that, and then I can also tell as my friends says "radhika deedi did like this"

Dev: now what you really want to do, you want to see what is there inside that nest?

Little one: I do, but I don't know how to climb this tall tree

Dev looked up once and saw its tall trunk

Dev: I wish I am that prince, who can do anything for his princess, but see I think myself need some help to climb those tall tree...

He sat on the ground: now what we do

The little one also sat near him and said: don't worry, when I grow little more, I will teach you

Dev: what!

The little one: ha, I really want to see what is inside it, can I tell you one thing

Dev:what?

Little one secretly: Radhika deedi's prince na, he don't know how to climb the tree

Dev: really!

Little one: ha, my friends told me, when he came here for the first time, he tried to climb on this same tree, but slipped down.

The little one just was unable to control his laugh

Dev felt little embarrassed, but then the warning sign from the above branch made the little one to control his laugh

Dev: who told you this?

Little one: don't tell anyone, everyone knows it

Dev: really

Little one: now you also knows, don't tell to anyone ok

Dev: why?

Little one: Radhika deedi will feel bad na. you know what, I wish i had born early

Dev: what?

littleone: ha, then i should have grown big early and married Radhika deedi.

Dev: why?

Little one: she is so beautiful, my friends says she looks like a real princess, and you know what, looking around , he leaned over and secretly in Dev's ears: she is really pretty, i saw her once.

Dev: oh... did you ever met her prince?

Little one: nope, i tried to see him, but didn't get a chance, but soon i will meet him.

Dev: for what?

Littleone: to check is a real prince?

Dev: how do you know that?

Little one: easy, i will look for the black beauty, if he has a black beauty then he is the real prince.

Dev: oh really... um.. good to know.. then will you let her stay with his prince?

Little one: of course, if he offer me a ride on it

Dev got up from the ground with a smile and said: today when your deedi call me na, I will tell her that here somebody is waiting for her...

Little one: you know radhika deedi!

Dev with a smile: ha, I only took her away from you guys

Little one: but,

Dev bending down to the little one's face level: ha, I am the prince who doesn't know how to climb these tall tress without his princess, ...and you are right, one day your deedi only showed me the magic inside that nest... and trust me, it is amazing... i need to go now

Little one: but... where?

Dev with a smile: to see if there any little birdies inside the nest

Little one: but the nest is here

Dev slowly taking those longer pace: ha, but there are so many inside those woods, which radhika deedi showed me once, I want to check there, see you

He didn't hear the little one's voice anymore as the distance got longer and he ran near the bank and then crossing the meadow he entered into the woods. He walked into the greenery.

Her images flashed in front of his eyes. She laying on that big branch and seriously reading a book. He felt her duppatta touching his face with the slow wind around, he tried to look up, but then she pulled her duppatta up , and the book just fell down onto the ground. He looked at her curiously, she was tying that ywllow duppatta around her waistline securely and stood on that branch holding onto the branch above, and then he saw her lifting her heels to stretch out, and then within few seconds, she climbed two branches up and he noticed that smile on her face ,...

Suddenly her face gazed down to catch him standing under, she with the same smile, called him up, he stood in doubt looking around, but she continued her eshara for him to climb up. Keeping that camera on to the ground, he slowly stretched up and then to the branches and once he reached near her, she held him by his waistline to give him support, he thought his feet is shaking slightly, but the grip of hers on him, made him to stand stable and he slowly stretched on his toe, and looked into the nest and found two tiny ones inside, so tiny that it didn't even opened its eyes yet.

Dev: wish I had taken my camera with me.

Soon the little ones felt that air movement near them, it started crying loud, the fear was reflected in that call, and was signaling its mom about the intruder.

Radhika: let's go down quick, maybe its mom is nearby,

Dev: let me

Radhika no... quick, come

Dev: but

Radhika: told you not to make any sound

Dev: radhika

He got down quick , by then the flapping sound of wings was coming more closer and closer..

Dev stood there watching the mom coming and settling near its nest making those terrifying noice to scare away the enemies.

Dev walked slowly, looking at the tree top again. Suddenly his cell rang and he with a shake took it out and said : hello

"Dev.where are you, I am all ready"

Sushma's voice brought him back to reality: Buva, I will be there in few minutes,

He kept the phone back in his pocket and then looked again at the tree and then ran back quick to the haweli..

Thanks devika,it was a pleasure to read the note and the update! Glad that we are on the same wavelenght 😉 Coming to the update...let me tell it was among the cutest things i ever read.. 👏 👏 I loved her longing for him,for his warmth and smell,the last lines of the poem go with it...and the talks between dev-ruhi was so sweet and real that i could pictured it in my mind...i had a smile on my face reading it... 😊 Then dev with those kids was so funny...the little one made dev to remember those sweet times again,how he and radh discovered beauty in such simple things...he is feeling everything around him just like radh did and helps his family ,and radh is missing Him home,like he did when they werent married...simply amazing part!! 👏
