Welcome to the AshMa / SiRa Appreciation Thread

Siya Ke Ram is the classic epic of Ramayana retold through the eyes of the beautiful and brave Siya and her immense love for Ram!

The Show features Ashish Sharma and Madirakshi Mundle playing as Ram and Siya was launched on Star Plus on 16th November 2015 at 8.00 pm produced by Nikhil Sinha under the banner of Triangle Films

Ashish Sharma has played Ram just as Ram would have. He transformed himself both inside and outside, calmed himself down for the role meditated, read, worked on his psyche as he says.

And he brought in the physical changes too, grew his hair, worked out. The end result was a calm serene gentle man with utmost kind eyes,his smile reached his eyes, he spoke less and let his eyes do most of the talking

A new Ram was born .. to beautifully portray a difficult role ... most difficult so far for him..

Madirakshi was new for the Indian TV... Beautiful gracious and gentle...most suitable for the role...She worked on her diction..prepared herself diligently..And did justice to the role..

In them we found the most beautiful Ram Siya of the Indian Television...They depicted their love for each other thru their eyes...Their chemistry is unmatched...They add charm and grace to every scene..Their emotional scenes were superb..SKR viewers cant stop gushing about this lovely jodi..Both compliment each other... Indeed the best Ram Siya of the Indian Television...more human..more realistic...Sakshat LakshmiNarayan ...

The journey of Siya n Ram has been shown so beautifully by the creative team. And Ashish Madirakshi won our hearts by being our Ram Siya 😳

It was the first step towards their milan... Mutual feelings of compassion ,kindness and concern...karuna..

For a mute creature..a jeev...for whom they both felt...

These emotions drew them to each other... The seed of attraction was sowed...

A brave warrior..a prince denying the comforts of the palace was there at the ashram at the call of his Guru...
He put his dharma above his comforts and his feelings...To safe guard his people...
A kind hearted princess moved by the state of the people was there to soothe and console them..to pull them out of their misery and grief...
They are eager for a glance of each other..Both feel the pull for each other...
Both humane...merciful..magnanimous...

She prays to ma Gauri... Her prayers are heard...

Her soulmate ,her other half appears...glowing like the rising sun...

Trembling she stares... He wants to memorize her beautiful face...

They look in wonder at each other... Unable to believe their eyes...

They know they are made for each other...

They meet at the crack of the dawn... The view is lovely..

The attraction is strong... Abundant love and devotion for each other...

It is expressed...through her gentle shy smile...through his mesmerized stares...

He promises her the world... She accepts it...

She stands feeling humiliated... Her identity is being questioned...

He lifts the divine bow for her self respect and honour... He would not let her down...

Destiny has played its part... Her eyes overflow with trust...

Overwhelmed she puts the garland around his neck...

She had chosen her partner...The dheer gambheer sahasi Dashrathnandan was hers...

The divine moment had arrived...

Lord Shiva and Ma Parvati came to bless the divine couple...

It was a moment of bliss... of celebrations...

The conch shells announced the world that the rituals had begun...

Fragrant flower petals were showered...

The holy mantras were chanted...

Garlands were exchanged...

The bright red sindoor glowed in the parting of her hair...illuminating her beautiful face...

He looked in awe... She was his forever...

The Vivaah of Ram Siya had happened...

It is a new beginning for Siya and her Ram..
Blissful moments of togetherness...
Moments of caring and sharing...adoration..
Their's is the most precious relationship...based on respect and trust...

They are on a quest..exploring ...finding out what pleases the other..what is dear to the other...
Companions ...friends...soulmates..
They live for each other..

A woman felt betrayed...she was denied what she felt was her right...She lashed out...

Dashrat's Ram,his most beloved son, was to be crowned...the joyous moment was awaited by all..Him..righteous and just...as the king of Ayodhya..Blessed were the people of Ayodhya..

But it wasn't to be so...

Rage simmered in her heart...she lashed out...where it would hurt the most..She wanted Ram...her favourite son...to be sent on an exile...for fourteen long years..

The son...gracious loving courteous...accepted the harsh words with a tender smile..He had to fulfill every word given...a promise must be fulfilled..at any cost

He assured her that her agya was his dharma...follow it he would..

His newly wedded wife breaks at the thought of separation from her beloved...Her Raghunandan was leaving her behind..She had to accompany him...they were inseparable..

She pleads...she begs..

He refuses...the hardships of Vanvas were not for her to bear...it was his duty to follow his mother's words...she so dainty and delicate...a princess...

Soul partners that they are ...unable to see the pain of each other...they walk out of the comforts of the palace ..with Laxman...who worshipped them...

Their love keeps them strong in the wilderness of the vast jungles..Ram..dheer veer and gambheer is always at guard..as a protector..

They find moments of bliss even in the forest...in the lap of nature...She is always supportive n smiling...He with his bow n arrow ...alert ..vigilant and bravehearted..glad to have her by his side...

Then the peace is shattered...Surpankha steps in..She spots Shri Ram...She is astounded to see him..the most handsome and divine looking man...calm and composed..she falls for him...She blurts her feelings ..Her proposal is rejected...filled with anger and venom she lashes at Siya...and she is disfigured for life..

Lankesh roars with wrath...his sister was humiliated...he vows to avenge her insult...

He comes ...evil and bloated with anger...in disguise..

Siya pleads ..To Ram... to save the golden deer...Then follows the most painful event of Ramayan...A woman is abducted...dragged against her wishes..deceived ...she wails...and calls for her Raghunandan...

He is in agony...he is inconsolable...his Siya is not found...she is heart broken..the pain is unbearable...He yells her name...thrashes around in search of her...she whispers his name...chants it...to feel his presence ..her tears flow

In chains she is but her spirit is unbroken...she chooses a small patch of green ...it reminds her of the small hut...her heaven...with her Raghunandan beside her

She is found by Hanuman...he breathes again...He is reminded of her innocent looks...of her divine beauty..he relives those moments of love ...her eyes stare...they have his image...her faith is immense...he would come for her...soon

He arrives ...for his Sitae...crossing over a vast ocean...His eyes dry...his heart still..his bow string taut and steady...his arrows ready ..to pierce through everything..

He aims ...and shoots...the arrow cuts thru every obstacle..he appears victorious...He has won the dharma yudh...

But then the king in him faces a mighty storm ..Wud his Siya have to face fingers pointing at her...would her dignity be at stake again

He fights a war...within himself... For the woman he loved the most he hardens himself...and announces she wont come to Ayodhya with him...

She looks in shock..A life without her Raghunandan...She realizes his dilemma...she could see through his pain...And decides to prove she was pure through agnipariksha...He is struck with horror...He didnt want her to prove her innocence...

She steps into a raging fire..and comes out unscathed...Overwhelmed he throws his arms around her...the divine souls were one again..

1. The word "Appreciate" in itself means to have a highly favorable opinion of someone or something. You are supposed to appraise the value of the work of the actors and express them in positive light. A thread where all the fans of the Actor/Characters gather to discuss what they liked.

2. In an essence Constructive criticism/Positive Outlook towards Actors/Characters, must prevail in these threads.

3. Members must understand that, discussions are restricted in ATs. ATs are safe zones for the Actor/s fans to exchange information without being subject to negativity. You have the main forum to present opinions which calls for discussions and debates. All discussions related to actor's performance, looks, style and personality can be confined to ATs and keep the discussion of story tracks restricted to just the character and his/her scenes with other characters. Please refrain from analyzing and discussing scenes which are not directly/indirectly related to the actor/character of this AT , in particular when they imply stating negative opinions. However we do allow minimum chatting in ATs, provided it is related to this AT alone.

4. Please refrain from bringing and discussing other general topics of the main forum into the AT. If you find anything offending in the main forum, report it with crisp and clear notes, without bringing them to the ATs.

5. Please refrain from any negative/bashful/insulting comments against any actor/character/member/DT. If members of an AT are caught discussing other actors/characters/fan groups/DT negatively, then AT will be held liable for it and may be subject to warnings & eventual closure/Ban as follows.

6. Admins/Monitors of the AT (Those who are opening the AT will be called the Admins/Monitors) will report the troublemakers or problematic members of the AT to the DT in a timely manner, so that the AT/other genuine fans are not penalized for it. Here the Admins have a big responsibility and so we believe them to be totally unbiased as the whole responsibility of a AT is on them.

7. Lastly - When an AT reaches 150 pages, hit the report button and add this "AT reached 150 Pages", the DT will close it as we can not have two ATs open at the same time.
