Which story would you prefer for Rajat Paridhi show together
hello, anyone still there?
Even though The Ramayana dates back to approximately the 5th or 4th century BC, it's a story that is still told. Many books, movies and television shows have been based on this epic, and that's because it's a story that's still relevant today. But for the first time on Star Plus, The Ramayana is being shown from Sitas perspective in Siya Ke Ram. At the heart of this story are the two main characters, Shree Ram and Sita, who are considered to be ideal people and who still have a lot to teach us in this day and age.
Here are some characteristics of Shree Ram and Sita that we should all attempt to imbibe!
Both Shree Ram and Sita were known for being people of values and morals, something that we should all aim to be. The morals that are most important to you may not be the most important to another person, but that doesn't matter - what matters is that you remain true to your biggest beliefs.
Loyalty is, perhaps, one of the most-desired characteristics within friendships and relationships, but unfortunately, it can often feel like loyalty is a dying virtue in this day and age. We could all do with taking a page out of Sita's book, who is considered to be the embodiment of loyalty. Shree Ram, too, was a one-woman man and was loyal to Sita all his life.
Sita is praised for her adherence to duty, and Shree Ram, too, went into exile out of a sense of duty. This is an important trait, as a strong sense of duty - towards our work, family, etc - can help guide many of decisions.
Sita was known to have been a compassionate woman who believed in equality. Shree Ram was also said to have been considerate of those around him. It cannot be stressed enough how important a trait this is. Simply keeping in mind another person's feelings will go a long way in influencing your actions - and everyone will be happier for it. Especially you!
With such strong qualities and such ideal morals, it's no wonder that Sita and Shree Ram were soulmates. And now, on Star Plus, you'll get to see the much-anticipated Swayamvar on Siya Ke Ram. The episode airs on Monday, 18th January at 8pm, and tells the story of how Sita and Shree Ram met and how he won her hand at the Swayamvar.
