Jalal was feeling like a helpless soul. All of his misconceptions disappeared when he was made aware of the truth by sujamal. He went into her hojra to seek for an apology while cursing himself. As he stepped inside the room calling out her name...he saw moti standing near to the place where Kanha Murti was placed. But it was not there. "Kal Subah suraj ki pehli kiran girne se pehle aap..aap chale jaaiye yaha se..chale jaaiye!!"
His words were continuously ringing in her ears and her tears were not willing to stop. Shehanshah's words had left a deep scar on her soul, she knew his anger and frustration was justified but she was helpless, she had never thought of any other person except him after their marriage but her brother sujamal's promise had sewed her lips. Rajput patriotism is legendary, an ideal they embodied by choosing death before breaking their promise. Jodha being a rajput princess was known for her culture and dignity and today both were kept at risk. She was heartbroken as this time shehanshah was not by her side to support her. She had lost his trust and faith, she had lost him.
How she wished to be with him, to make him look into her eyes and ask him how can he believe that she can do this to him?
Well the night had gone, leaving its darkness behind.
With clouds hovering over the sky and lightning shrieking its way out, the memories of the dreadful night grew more stronger within her. She walked with her kanha's idol in her hand, keeping it close to her heart. Wind was gushing through the woods and screaming through her ears, hair falling on her face, eyes as empty as her life right now as she made way on an unknown path, no idea about what her destiny has planned for her.
A voice hindered her thoughts.
"the kahin ja rhe ho?"
Jodha came out of her thoughts and saw a villager looking at her.
Jalal carried the whole palace on his head and instructed every guard to search for jodha...if by any means she is near to the palace he could not take any risk. The whole mughal sultanat was deeply hurt due to this happening. Jalal knew that this time he had to reconcile the broken chords between him and jodha..he had to make her believe that he truly respects her and loves her.
"Jalal!"
He looked away from his room's window and saw his mother coming, she was broken too.
"Ammijaan.."
"Jalal hume kuch nahi sunna hai..aap hamari jodha ko kaise bhi karke wapas leke aaayiye...wo sirf hamari bahu nahi beti bhi thi...aur firse aapki nasamjhi ki wajah se humne unhe kho diya..." she says while sobbing.
"Aap fikar mat kijiye ammijaan hum jodha begum ko dhundke iss mahal mei zarur leke aayenge...waada hai hamara aapse.."
Without wasting any single time a shattered jalal made way out of his room and went to atgah sahab..
Atgah sahab greeted him "Salam shehanshah"
"Atgah sahab hum jodha begum ko dhundne jaa rahe hai..hum chaahte hai ki hamari gair maujoodgi mein aap wazir-e-aaliya ke saath milke sultanat ke maamlo ko dekhe aur aap maan singh ko ek tukdi ke saath amer bheje...kya pata jodha begum waha ho..aur jaise hi kuch pata chale hume turant khabhar kare"
"Hukum ki taameel hogi huzoor"
"Apna dhyaan rakhiyega atgah sahab"
"Aap fikar na kare shehanshah"
With this jalal flew away on his horse along with his army to search for jodha.
Jodha saw a woman looking at her..
"Baisa the kahin ja rahe ho?"
Jodha didn't knew at first what to reply, then she said""Ji who humein kahin jaana tha par hum raasta bhatak gaye hai.."
"Acha hum aapki madad kardete hai baisa..aisa kariye aaj raat aap hamare yahin ruk jaiye..raatri bhi bahut ho gyi hai"
"Par aapko koi takleef.."
"Takleef kis baat ki..aap chaliye.."
Jodha after much thinking nodded her head and went with her.
They entered in a small hut where she lived with her husband.
Jodha greeted that man and said""Aapka bahut aabhar jo aapne humei yaha rukne ki jagah dedi"
"Aap hamare atithi hai, aur atithi bhagwaan samaan hota hai...kisi bhi tarah ki pareshaani ho toh humei btayiyega" and he folded her hands to greet her back.
Jodha smiled at both of them.
They sat together for the dinner and served food to each other. While jodha served herself, the woman served her man.
Man""Mhaari lugaai bada hi chokha khaana bnaave hai baisa..aap ungliyaan chaba jayengi" jodha smiled listening to this.
Woman""Rehene dijiye aap..waise toh kabhi mhaari taareef nahi karte.."
Man""Arey bhagwaan aap toh rusht ho gayi...zara suniye..."
Jodha admired their cute fight and started smiling wide when her mind shifted to someone close to her heart and suddeny her face lost its color. Her fights with shehanshah made her heart sink and those bitter sweet moments spent with him flashed infront of her eyes.
*Wo pal hamari zindagi ke sabse khoobsurat pal the shehanshah..unhe hum sadev yaad rakehenge, hamare hridya mei aapke liye hamesha ek khaas jagah rahegi* and she wiped a tear from the corner of eye.
Night time.
Sleep was not getting over jodha, she kept changing sides but no chance. Whenever she closed her eyes, shehanshah's face would appear making her restless.
*Hey kanha...sahayta karein hamari..kyu humei baar baar unka smaran ho raha hai! Ab jab hum apna sab kuch peeche chodh hi aaye hai toh kyu aise khayaal aa rahe hai humei?*and she sat on the bed, everybody was asleep so she made her way out of the hut.
Once spoken, then those words can never be retained.
