Well, ever since the news of the leap came out, I thought that they were going to reincarnate Rantara but it looks like that's not happening. This it what i thought that it would be like...
Chapter 1
"Raghu, mujhe nahi lagta ki ab bhagne ka koi faida hai. Voh log humare bahut kareeb hain aur tumari jeep bhi kharab ho gayi." said Antara while panting. They had been running for the past two hours and it was so dark. They had reached an isolated road next to a large body of water. "Par Miss. Kaul, hume bhagne hoga. Agar un gundo ne hume dhoond liya to phir hum kabhi saath nahi ho payenge." replied Raghu. "Raghu, mujhe un ke haathon nahi marna." said Antara. "Kya? Kisne kaha ki hum marne wale hain? Main tujhe kuch nahi hone donga. Tere se vaada kiya hain, aur apun apne vaddon ko torne walon mein se nahi hai."
Raghu said. "Raghu meri baat samjhne ki koshish
karo. Kab tak bhagte rahenge hum? Ek na ek din toh woh hume dhoond lenge na?
Phir kya karoge tum? Mayi ne tumare peeche police bheji hain Raghu. Voh tume
itni assani se thodi na jaane denge." Said Antara, trying to make Raghu
understand. "Toh kya hua? Apun teri baat abhi tak
samjh nahi paya. Kyun faltu mein mera bheja fira rahi hain?" replied
Raghu. "Raghu please. Main sirf itna khena chati
hoon ki shayad iss sab mein bhagwaan ki hi marzi ho. hum dono jitni bhi baar ek
doosre ke paas aate hain, kuch na kuch ho jata hain aur hum dono ek doosre se
door ho jaate hain. shayad iss janam mein humara saath hona hi nahi lika." Antara
looked at Raghu with pleading eyes. "Miss. Kaul...
yeh kaise baatein kar rahi hain tu... hum dono ek duje ke liye hi bane hain"
Raghu was getting confused by Antara's words with every passing second. "Janti hoon. Par is janam mein nahi. Agar aaj hum un logo
ke hatho mare, to phir burai ki jeet hogi aur humare pyaar ki haar." She
tried to make him understand. "Hum aur kar bhi kya
karsakte hain?" said Raghu. Antara pointed towards the bridge and said "Woh bridge dekh re ho?" "Tu...saach mein yeh karna chati hain?" asked Raghu.
"Humare paas aur koi option to hain nahi." She said. There were tears in her eyes. Raghu wiped them away as quickly as possible. "Miss Kaul..." he said. "Please Raghu" he nodded and took her hand. Raghu and Antara walked towards the bridge. Antara stopped him and said "Isse phele main tumse ek vaada karna chati hoon." "Kaisa vaada?" "Yehi, ki iss janam ke baad, Antara hamesha Raghu ki hogi. Sirf Raghu ki. Kabhi bhi kise aur ki nahi hogi. Antara par sirf aur sirf Raghu ka haq hain. Aur kisika nahi." She said. "Aur Raghu sirf Antara ka hoga. Main kabhi bhi tujhe apne aap se door nahi hone doonga. Tu jaanti hain na, ki apun yeh sirf iss liye kar raha hain kyunki tu chati hain. Apun ne kasam kahi hain, ki apun teri haar ek ek khwaish ko pura karega. Yeh bhi sahi." Said Raghu with tears in his eyes. He didn't want to live without Antara, but at this point, they didn't have any other choice than this. Raghu helped Antara up on to the bridge and gave her one last hug and a kiss on her head. "I love you
Miss Kaul." "I love you too Raghu."
"Voh dekhiye sir. Yeh dono to vohi do log hain na?" said the inspector. "Haan, par woh bridge par kya kar rahen hain?" replied the senior officer. "Pata nahi sir. Chaliye, dekhte hain". The police officers walked towards them.
"Raghu, voh..." Antara said. "Jaanta hoon. Tujhe mujh par bharosa hain na?" Raghu asked. "Khud se bhi zaayada." She replied. "Toh phir... 1 ... 2... 3!" And the two of them jumped from the bridge.
"Sir! Un dono ne toh chal mar li!" "Jaldi se un dono ko baar nikalo."
It took the police an hour to find them, and when they did, they found them hand in hand, unwilling to separate even after death. After checking for any pulse, they were declared dead.
After this Daya Mayi was found guilty of having ordered & planning the death of Dr. Kaul and was sentenced to a lifetime of imprisonment. Satya had gone to London with Kaka Kaki and they spent the rest of their life there. Rukhsana & Machmach had gotten married a few years after their death.
You must think that this was the end of Raghu & Antara's story...It wasn't. It was just one of phases that they passed to become the do dil...ek jaan that they are. This was just the beginning ... There is more to come.
