Chapter 20

I got my dad to help me set up the room. It looked perfect. Just the way that I had wanted it. There were candles and there were pictures everywhere. Tonight was going to be special. I would confess my love but I would also have to tell her the truth about our past. I just hoped that she would be able to handle it and understand it.

It was time. I went and knocked on Antara's door. "Tum yahan?" she asked. "Haan. Woh tumare liye ek surprise hain. Chalogi mere saath?" I asked. She hesitated for a moment and then said, "Haan, chalo." "Ek minute," I said. I took the blindfold from pocket. "Yeh kyun?" she asked. "Bola na, surprise hain. Bharosa hain na mujhpe?" I asked. "Haan," she said. I tied the blindfold with a little difficulty but I managed to tie it. I took her hand and led her to the room.

I just got up when I heard a knock on the door. I opened it to find Raghu standing there. "Tum yahan?" I asked. "Haan. Woh tumare liye ek surprise hain. Chalogi mere saath?" he asked. A surprise for me? "Haan, chalo." I said. "Ek minute," he said. He took a blindfold from pocket and showed it to me. "Yeh kyun?" I asked. "Bola na, surprise hain. Bharosa hain na mujhpe?" he asked. Of course I trusted him. I trusted him more than anyone else. "Haan," I said. He tied the blindfold than took my hand.

I opened the door of the room and led her inside. "Miss Kaul, tera surprise aa gaya," I said. Slowly, I untied the blindfold. I noticed that her eyes were still closed. She hasn't opened then yet. "Miss Kaul, aankhe kholo," I whispered softly in her ear. She opened her eyes and I saw them widen with shock.

"Miss Kaul, tera surprise aa gaya," he said. Slowly, he untied the blindfold. I didn't open my eyes yet. "Miss Kaul, aankhe kholo," he whispered softly in my ear. I opened my eyes and got one of the biggest shocks of my life.
