Chapter 33

As soon as Raghu stopped the bike, I got off and ran inside. I came in and found my parents sitting there. "Mom, dad," I said and went to give them a hug. After this worried day, seeing my parents made me feel so much more better. "Baki saab kahan hain?" I asked. "Woh Riya sab ko bahar leke gayi thi, abhi aate hi honge," Rukhsana aunty said. "Theek hain. Mom aap logo ka trip kaisa tha?" I asked sitting down with my parents. We continued talking for a bit and eventually Riya came back with Arjun, Ranveer and Piya.

I was watching Antara the entire time. She looked so happy and at peace. Once everyone was at home, we made plans to go out for dinner and then went up to their rooms to get ready. I took Antara's hand and led her up to the terrace. "Kya hua?" she asked. "Tu chal toh sahi," I said. I wanted to talk to her. We walked onto the terrace and she repeated her question. "Kya hua?" "Tu yeh bata, tune uncle aunty se baat ki hain ya nahi?" I asked. "Kiss baare mein?" she asked. "Humari shaadi ki baat, Miss. Kaul, tu bhool gayi?" I asked. "Nahi toh, main thodi na bhooli. Maine mom ko bataya tha ki tumne mujhe propose kiya tha," she said. "Aur..." I said. "Aur kya?" she asked. "Kya kaha aunty ne? Woh theek toh hain na iss rishte se?" I asked. I really wanted for her parents agree. "Mom ki toh haan hain, par papa..." she said. "Kya?" I asked. "Maine abhi tak papa ko bataya nahi," she said. "Toh kab batogi? Mujhe tujhse jaldi se shaadi karni hain. Tujhe iss ghar ki bahu banana hain aur," I said. "Aur..." she said. "Aur... Mrs. Raghuveer Singh banana hain, asli wali." She blushed and looked at the ground. "Raghu," she said. "Main aaj hi papa se baat karongi." "Paaka na?" I asked. "Paaka," she replied. I pulled her in for a hug.

"Raghu," I mumbled into his chest. "Hmm" he replied. "Main jao? Hume jaana hain na." He sighed and let go. "Chalo warna sab sawal poche gaye," I said. "Tum jao, main aata hoon," he said. "Ok," I said and turned around and headed to my room. I opened my door and found Piya & Riya sitting there, talking. "Antara, tu kahan thi?" Piya asked. "Bhai ke saath thi, aur kahan hogi?" Riya said. The two of them giggled. "Shut up guys," I replied. "Acha ok, ab tu jaldi se tayaar ho ja, hume jaana bhi toh hain," Piya said. Piya's phone rang and when she looked at the screen, she blushed. "Jao jao, Ranveer tujhe bula ra hain," I said. She looked up and smiled and went out. "Pagal," I said as she left the room. I turned around and saw Riya. I needed to talk to her. "Riya, mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hain," I said. "Haan bolo," she replied. "Tumare dost ke baare mein," I said. Riya looked at me shocked.
