23 Years Later...

Mumbai

"Mach Mach bhai, Raghu se kahiye na. Use Kashmire aana he hoga. Please. Dekhiye na. Voh meri taraf dekh bhi nahi raha. He's too busy playing basketball." Ishaan told Mach Mach. Ishaan considered Mach Mach to be his older brother. The same way that his sister, Antara, used to think of him. He was trying to convince his nephew, Raghu, to come to his wedding rituals in Kashmir. He was finally getting married to his love, Payal. She was originally from Kashmir and wanted all of the wedding rituals to happen there. Ishaan wanted the same as he was also from Kashmir. He also wanted Raghu to be there. Raghu was the son of Mach Mach & Rukhsana Naik. He looked just like his Raghu jeeju. But that was all in the past. He wanted Raghu to come to Kashmir with him so that there was a chance of him finding his love, his Antara. And hopefully, this time, they would be together.

"Ab main kya karu? Agar woh teri baat nahi man raha to iss mein main kya kar sakta hoon? Hamesha use apni man mani karne ki adat hain. Aaj tak kisi ki baat mani hai usne?" replied Mach Mach. "Chachu rukiye. Main Bhai se baat karti hoon. I'm sure he will listen to me." Said Riya Naik, Raghu's younger sister and Mach Mach and Rukhsana's only daughter. "Haan. Yeh sahi hain. Tu jaa na. Usse baat kar. Jaa na." Ishaan said. "Jaa rahi hoon Chachu. Relax." Riya said and hurried off to the front, where her brother was playing basketball.

Raghu was playing basketball when he saw his sister come. "Oh God. Tum bhi? Please huh, mujhe akele chod do." Raghu said. "Bhai, yeh mera bhi ghar hain. Aap mujhe aise nahi nikal sakte. Samjhe aap?" replied Riya. "Acha ab jaldi se bol. Kya chahie tujhe?" asked Raghu. "Aap humare saath Kashmir kyun nahi aa re?"she replied. "Kyunki mera maan nahi hain." He said. "Par Bhai... acha aap ko pata hain ki Chachu ne mujhe kya bataya? Unhone kaha ki humari hone wali Chachi ki ek behen bhi hain. Woh bhi humari umar ki." Said Riya. Raghu dropped his ball. "Humari umar ki?" Raghu asked. "Haan Bhai." Riya said. "Toh kya hua? Humari umar ki ladkia to yaha bhi hain" Raghu said. He picked up his ball and started playing again. "Par Bhai... Please chaliye na. mere liye?" Riya said while looking at him with her puppy dogface. Her brother loved her a lot and she knew that he would do almost anything for her. He stopped playing and looked at her. "Acha theek hai. Main bhi aa raha hoon." Raghu finally agreed. "Yay Bhai!!!! Hum sab bahut masti karne wale hain" Riya said while jumping. She gave him a hug and ran inside to tell her dad and chachu that Raghu had agreed. "God, yeh kaise pagal bhen di hain aapne mujhe?" Raghu said and picked up his ball and started to play again.

In Kashmir

"Antara, tu ja na. Aunty ko mana le." Piya whispered to her best friend, Antara. "Haan haan, jaa rahi hoon," she said and walked towards her mom. "Mama please mujhe jaane do na... please... Kal Payal Di ke sasural wale aa rahe hain aur parso saagi hain. Aunty ko help chaiye hogi." Antara pleaded. "Woh log un sab ko sambalenge ya tume aur tumari pagal harkaton ko?" replied Ragini Kaul, Antara's mom. "Arre Ma, agar Aunty ko koi problem nahi hain, toh phir aap itna bhau kyun kha rahi ho?" Antara said. "Haan Aunty. Mama toh chati hain ki Antara humare saath rahe kuch dino ke liye. Ab hum to sirf 5 log hain na. Agar Antara bhi hogi to thodi si help ho jaye gi." Piya said. Antara & Piya exchanged looks. "Theek hain." Ragini said. "Yay thank you so much Mom!!!! You're the best!" Antara shouted. "Par, par, par, apni shararton ko limit mein rakhna. Payal ki shaadi mein koi problem nahi honi chaiye." Ragini instructed. "Ji Mom. I promise. Chal Piya. Hume meri packing bhi to karni hain." Antara said and the two girls ran up to Antara's room and started packing.

The next morning...

"Bhai, aap ne abhi tak apna bag pack nahi kiya? Humari flight 10 waje hain. Uthiye na." Riya said to a sleeping Raghu. "Riya, kyun subhe subhe shor macha rahi. Mujhe sone de na." said a sleepy Raghu. "Theek hain. Toh main hi aap ka bag pack kar deti hoon." Said Riya. "Haan haan. Kar le." Raghu said.

3 hours later...

Raghu, Riya, Ishaan, Mach Mach & Rukhsana were all settled on the flight for Kashmir.
