He had signed a new movie Kaynaath with the famous Kamal production house. They were having the launch party for Kaynaath. RK as usual drank as much as he could and then headed back home around 5 am in the morning. On his way back he saw commotion on the side of the road. There was a whole gang of seven to eight men hitting a guy. Rk asked his body guards to save the guy. The body guards did as were told. The goons left and ran. RK saw the guy injured real bad and a girl trying to help him. The girl came upto RK and requested

" Sir Please sir help us. My friend here is bleeding heavily. Please can you take us to the nearest hospital sir.

RK noded and asked the driver to assist them, when his phone rang. His father's name flashed on the screen "IG sir" RK got pissed off he immediately asked his driver to stop what they were doing and to come back they had to leave.

The girl started pleading again " sir please sir please do help me" RK very rudely retorted back " Listen madam yeh na IG Kundra the great ka area hai aur yeh ek police case. You do one thing take this phone and dial the last received number and ask him to help you. Bbhartiya police ki efficiency bhi test ho jayegi.

He threw the phone to her and said "keep it for your self, by chance police sahi waqt par aagayi aur tumhara yeh boyfriend oops no friend zinda bach gaya to usko mssgs kar kar ke pakane ke kaam aayega".

CHAPTER 2

The mobile rang once again. "IG sir" flashed once again and the girl picked it up immediately. She said, " Sir my name is Preeti and my friend is bleeding RK left this phone." Mr Kundra interrupted in between " where are you?" The Girl replied "on Mira road in front of the State Bank of India" IG interrupted again " a lady officer will be there in a few minutes to assist you." He then gave her instructions on how to constrict the flow of blood from the wound for a few minutes till she gets help.

IG kundra called the Police station Mira Road commanded them to assist the girl immediately. He went to RK's room but RK was not there, he then left for Mira road. He called RK's assistant Bittuji to know the whereabouts of RK but Bittuji had no information about RK after he left the studio.

A police van stopped in front of the state bank and and officer with a few constables came to Preeti and asked " Are you Preeti?" Yes replied Preeti she was holding her's friend close to herself. The officer asked Preeti to move aside and checked the pulse of the boy. It was feeble but was still there. The ambulance arrived in the meantime. The boy was strapped safely onto the bed and transported to City hospital Mumbai. The officer and Preeti jined the boy in the ambulance. The officer said, " What is his name" Preeti replied Shashank.

"How are you related?"

"We are class fellows"

"Do you have his family information? We need to inform his family ."

"Yes I do"

"How did he get injured?"

Preeti told the whole incident. They reached the Hospital and he was rushed to the trauma center.

The IG called The officer " Kahan ho tum log? Wo ladka kaisa hai"

"Sir city hospital Sir" he is in the OT The blood loss is tremendous. Injuries are severe.

"Will he make it?"

"Too early to comment sir."

"OK"

The IG called Bittuji once again " Any info on RK"

"Trying to find out Sir his mobile is out of network sir"

"OK"

The IG then went to Mira road Police station.

The Officer on duty immediately saluted the IG " Jai Hind Sir"

"I am here to File a FIR for a hit and run case"

" Sir please sit Sir . The officer on duty takes out the register and starts

"Victims name Sir"

" Shashank Shekhar"

"Location of the accident Sir"

" Mira road"

"Victim alive??"

" As of now" It is a Named FIR officer and the accused's name is Rishabh Kundra

The officer was shocked he literally screamed

"What Sir?? Are you certain that it is Rishabh Kundra sir?"

"He should be booked under drunk driving , negligence, Hit and run, and attempt to murder"

"Sir I think we should cross check with Rishabh Kundra for his version."

"Since when did it become our responsibility officer?. Cross examination is always the responsibility of the court"

"Go and take the deposition from that girl Preeti and get a warrant for RK first thing in the morning. He is absconding. No wait it is morning already instead of staring at my face do as you should." The IG got up and departed for the hospital.

He wirelessed the officer " What is your position"

"OT corridor Trauma center Sir "

IG Kundra reached the corridor.

The Officer immediately reported " Jai Hind Sir, ASP Madhubala Shamsher Mallik reporting Sir"

"Jai Hind Madhubala." What is the condition? and were you able to take any witness depositions?.

"The victim has been totally unconscious sir. But eye witness account has been taken."

OK

"I have lodged the FIR, you get the investigation going

" Yes sir, I am on it."

" If any thing happens to this boy I will not spare him"

"Yes Sir" The IG started to leave

Madhu suddenly remembered, he would not spare someone. She said " Might I ask sir do you know who is behind all this"

" Madhu do you think I am that unaware or ignorant"

"yes sir"

"What?? Officer I think you need some time off"

"Sorry sir" I am Sorry sir"

"Get the ball rolling then. Now" He left after that.
