IG also entered at that time. He saw his entire family sitting their. He had heard his sons real laughter after an era or so. He casted an enquiring look at Madhu. Madhu replied by her eyes that she will inform him the details later. That was probably a way of everyday communication between them. Madhu had been with Mr Kundra for quite some time now. This passage of message between the two did not go unnoticed by RK, and boy he took serious note of it though both of them were oblivious to it. So much for reading his gestures…..

When The nutritionist drew her diet plan the first to view it skeptically was Mr Kundra sr. It was very hard for him to curb his laughter. He could not imagine Madhu not eating her special grilled cheese sandwiches and paneer tikka's. Paneer Tikka was something she could simply not live without and then those dahi papdi's. He could not stop himself and finally asked the nutritionist

IG:- I understand all this greens and whey protein and this and that but this chart is missing something very critical for Madhu

RK:- and what might that be SIR ….. since you are so aware of her likes and dislikes.

IG:- hid his smile and then said Madhu I cannot see paneer TIkka nor dahi papdi nor sandwhiches…. Can you ??

Madhu:- I have had it…look RK…

Nutritionist :- But sir she cant eat any of those stuff untill this issue of her creatinine is resolved…..

IG:- Creatinine?????????

RK:- I think you are done here mam … I will take it from here

IG :- wait. What is wrong with her??

RK gestured her to leave but she was not in a mood to buy wrath of RK's dad even at RK's insistence.

Nu:- Sir I am sorry but I cannot tell you a thing other than that her creatinine is running a little high which needs to be evaluated. Her doctors would be in a better situation to inform more on this issue. She needs restricted diet till this comes in normal ranges.

IG nodded and the nutritionist left. IG turned to RK and asked "you must be knowing the answer what is it."

RK saw the lines of concern marr his otherwise Iron face. He was jealous of Madhu.

RK:- I don't see the need to discuss it with you. She is my responsibility and I know how to handle my responsibilities to perfection.

IG:- excuse me she is still my subordinate and a govt. servant. I have every right to know what is wrong with her? Where was this responsibility when you married her without her consent.

Madhu was listening to all this childish humdrum with little interest and this irked RK a lot.

RK:- you know she was forced into marriage with me. You kept quiet then, for your personal reasons, you should keep quiet now for my personal reasons.

RK:- BIWI….

RK:- Biwi you are going back to bed.

Madhu:- Yes Pati

IG:- ASP Madhu report to me in my study now.

Madhu:- Yes Sir.

RK:- Bed right now. He placed his left hand on her shoulder and tried to pick her up.

Bittuji saw all that he did not want his chief getting sandwhich between the two iron pillars. He said to himself

"ab samajh mein aaya auntyji shanti ki murti kyoun bani rehti hai."

Bittuji:- chief chief david ji ka phone hai..

RK:- Bittuji boliye RK devi durga ko visarjit karne jaa raha hai.

Radha:- Madhu tumhari ma ko phone beta

Madhu:- boliye gadtantra divas ki pared mein gayi hai.

IG:- looked at both of them…and thought to himself " boy he is smitten real real bad" it was getting difficult for them to curb his sly smile . He was actually enjoying it and Madhu was reading his facial nuances from across the room and she felt irritated to be the subject of this game between the father and son duo. She pushed RK hard and raced outside the house. She saw her jeep and chetan there. She quickly climbed in the passenger seat and asked chetan to drive.

RK came out as fast as he could and seeing Madhu run away from the scene he said to himself

RK:- You should not have done that…..

Bittuji:- Chief david ji ka phone…

RK glared at him. Apni BHabhi ji ko bulaiye yahan 30 min mein nahi to aap bahut yaad aayeinge

Bittuji:- chief ….RK left…hey bhagwaan yeh aage Kuan peechey khai nahi yeh dono taraf talwaar …..mera kya hoga.

Bittuji tried calling on her cell but it rang in the house,

Bittuji:- sahi hai phone bhi lekar nahi gayi ab…..
