Aniket:- Although all her other Vitals are normal but her creatinine and uric acid etc are on the higer side.

RK:- Low protein and low salt….But she is a vegetarian she hardly consumes protein. Yet I will see to it. When do the other reports come.

Aniket:- some tomorrow but the cultures will take 2 more days.

RK:- When can she go home?

Aniket:- as such she is fine now, we just need to finish with this bottle of saline and 1 more after that she can go home, she needs to rest.

RK:- I will go home.

Aniket:- see you will come for another round around 12:00 PM. Rishabh aamm…. I had never thought that you would ever look a women in the eye after dipali. I am glad you found a life partner like her. She is a wonderful woman. CONGRATS

RK:- Ahaan …. her vital parameters and her blood reports indicate that….

They left the room one by one. Padmini hugged Madhu , she wanted to stay back, but SM said

SM:- come back later after changing and eating something. Abhi ghar chalo she needs to rest if you stay back here she will keep on talking.

Madhu:- Mama you go I am fine. Malik is right come back later.
SM gave her a kiss on her forehead. And all of them left.

RK came around 12:30 with her lunch. She was fast asleep. He saw that her drip was nearly done. Just then Dr. SS Trihan came in. He got up, and bowed his head to wish him. His gesture felt alien to him. It had been ages since he ever moved in this fraternity, It had been ages since he gave any respect to his seniors, then why now? He did not wanted to deal with this question.

SSt:- You want her discharged today,

RK:- You think there is a problem. (his tone had changed , it was back to same old arrogant RK)

SST:- Not exactly but she needs rest actually bedrest and…..

RK:- I will take care of what ever she needs. Do we need any more Drips or injections.

SST:- no not as of now. Just her routine insulin should suffice, no sugar no carbs, and low protein, he looked at him

It appeared as RK wanted to ask him something so he asked

SST:- then finish all the formalities for her discharge at the reception, I have signed her discharge summary after that you are free to go.

She looked fine now. The signs of dehydration were gone. He looked relieved.

Madhu:- why do I need bed rest. I feel soo good now.

SST:- you feel good because you are good. As such all is well except your creatinine and uric acid. As of now I am convinced that a low protine diet would help with that. You need to see a nutritionist to actually find out what and how much to eat. Now for the bed rest, you were in a state of diabetic coma. Though reversible, it could be fatal. Your situation was spurred by a shock. In situations like this the hormones take time to get back to normal. That what would be a normal thing for you in other days could be a shock in these next few days. I suggest you ask your husband. He will be able to explain it to you with full details, after all he is a doctor.

Madhu looked at him with gaping mouth.

SST:- Sister take of all the drips and the monitors. You shall be free to go in a few minutes

Madhu was still looking at him with open mouth. He left, what both of them did not notice was RK's discomfort at the way Madhu and SST were talking. He was soo ready to blast him away.

He pulled her drip out. She grimaced in pain. He immediately put a cotton ball on it. And pressed it slightly so as to prevent bleeding. She did not press further.

RK:-This bag has clothes for you to change, get ready fast. I don't have whole day. ( he handed her a bag and asked the nurse to help her change)

Madhu:- she opened the bag and saw a beautiful red anarkali in it. She loved it but she was another sulky soul whom only God could help. She said to RK

Madhu:- I don't wear all this kind of chamkila stuff.

RK:- You will wear what I want. I said I don't have all day…

Madhu:- I will wear my tshirt and PJs I was wearing at night.

RK:- ok here it is he handed her the t shirt.

Madhu opened the tshirt it was all chopped of in front…

Madhu:- who did this to my fav t shirt….

RK:- I did it when you passed away in the bedroom at night….silly the nurses did it to change you into this gown.

Madhu:- but why??

RK:- because they had all the time in the world to take it off Mrs Madhubala Rishabh Kundra and change her lovingly into this hospital gown so that they could carry one with those life saving drips and the monitors ……Baat karti hain.

She growled..

Madhu:- I will wear the suit.

RK:- wow How intelligent ab jaane ka kya lengi aap..he gestured the nurse again for help.

In a while she was ready to go. When RK saw her his breath stuck in his throat. She looked beautiful beyond imagination. Flawless skin, the most beautiful eyes ever, and no jewellery other than the mangalsutra. He remembered one of the poems where it is said that a woman looked most beautiful when she was going to make love to her husband,even though she was not adorned by jewels at that time because she found them an obstacle in her expression of love. The sheer intensity of her passion gave her a brilliance worth a million diamonds together. Some thing constricted RK's heart, He could feel desire racing in his veins but he needed to reign in his desires. He looked away from her. She was not some ordinary acquisition instead she was that precious sapphire, imperative for his luck and life. Madhubala was not unaffected by the burning eyes that he had casted on her. When she was about to walk to the exit of the hospital. Rk went behind her and gripped her by the shoulder. She looked at him with irritation and

Madhu:- What ? she literally barked out her frustration.

RK:- whaaat?? I was going to pick you up ,Someone is in a mood to bite

Madhu :- yes don't touch me and don't come near me or mujhse bura koi nahi hoga.

RK:- Ohh really…Kya kar lengi aap…

Madhu :- don't you dare think I am a woman……she literally snarled again..

RK:- fingers crossed my love ( RK was thoroughly enjoying her temper)… But I thought you were, a woman when I married you and you f…e..l..t.. also like a woman. Trust me I am experienced enough to tell the difference.

Madhu:- I meant weak woman..

RK :- Ahaan I will remember you belong to the khandan of Hercules and within a second he lifted her up in his arms.

Madhu:- Put me down RK I am telling put me down this instant.

RK:- I always do what I want not what others want…ok so stop fighting and making a show of us outside ….

RK:- Ouch ….yeh kya badtameeze hai..

He still had the pained look on his face and she had a victorious smile on hers. She had actually dug all 10 nails in his neck really hard. Had it been any harder and she would have drawn blood.

Madhu:- I always do what I want whether they like it or they don't is none of my concerns.

She smiled innocently again

RK Looked at her in deadly way, though he kept silent but Madhu knew that this would be repaid sooner or later. What would be the price is just anybody's guess.

RK brought Madhu to the car and drove home with her.
