Today was her personal appearance for the visa. The cateogary of her visa had now changed from tourist to diplomacy and she was to granted diplomatic immunity aswell. When she was coming out of the consulate her phone buzzed.

Madhu:- Haan RK

RK:- When do they send your passpot and where

Madhu:- How r u so certain that I got the visa in first palce….

RK:-Biwi Kaun se desh aaya gadha samajhti ho mujhey…I don't even want to answer this question. Just wanted to ascertain when we could fly.

Madhu:- in a day or two they will send the passport to the internal security here. I will get it the same day they send it.

RK:- so we have two-three days before we can fly……I am getting another call will call in a while and he hanged up.

Madhu wanted to tell him she had a meeting in half an hour with the commissioner of police for the briefing so she wont be available...but as usual

He never thought it important to hear what she had to say.

Madhu:- ab he will keep calling me and when I wont be able to answer his call he will be all criss and cross. Kya musibat hai??

RK had received a call from his designer Vasant whom he had engaged to arrange a new wardrobe for Madhu. Her wardrobe was all done and she needed to come in to try it.

RK:- will give a you call to let you know when we can come.

RK was crossing Prithvi theatre when he saw Trishna walking along the road and she looked miserable. RK took a you turn and drove upto her.

RK:- where are you going?

Trishna tried to look down so as to hide teary eyes.

Trishna:- Back home.

RK:- are you going to walk back home. Do both of you sisters belong to the family of Hercules

Trishna smiled and said:-I was going to the parking.

RK:- This way ……..special parking hai kya sirf aur sirf aap ke liye.

Trishna looked around and saw she was walking in the wrong direction.

Trishna:- oh I must have been distracted.

RK asked his driver to follow them and he got down to drive with Trishna.

Trishna:- what?, are you coming with mee?.

RK:- you have any problems?

Trishna :- the first time I met you Madhu and you went into warzone and we had to see you two together in the sea remember..

Second time you went ahead and blackmailed her into marriage….

RK laughed and said

Trishna:- Tumhare charm ka hi to dar hai

She smiled a genuine smile

RK:- chalein

Trishna :- Uh..huh and they both walked to her car.

Trishna asked him if he would drive or would he want her to drive.

RK:- jiska Bandar usi se nache. Jiski gadi wahi chalaye…

Trishna:- where do you want to go.

RK:- where do you, want to go?

Trishna:- Look RK I appreciate you looking after me but trust me I am good. I did not expect you to be this kind of a man but I am happy that appearences were fake in your case.

RK:- chalo tumhare ghar chalte hain mujhey tumhare papa se kaam hai?

Waise do you think you understood RK?..

Trishna:- I wish I could but I atleast am sure you are not shallow…you may have so many vices but still you don't have this one, that I am sure of.

RK:- not shallow relative to whom Trish?

Trishna chose to remain silent.

RK:- when will this play of yours be staged.

Trishna :- In march….

RK:- it is one of a kind play in the history of modern India to be staged ever. This could bring you a lot of critical acclaim and open up a whole new world for you. This is not the time rue and waste on people who are shallow. Stagnant water is never of any use. I always believed that an actor needs to be in a state of equilibrium, where the world does not exist for him and he does not for the world.It is only then that the character emerges. Right now you are too much into the world as well as your self. Let go Trishna, I am afraid that the tightness of your grasp will leave you with nothing. Confide in some one, speak to some one you are comfortable with, find out a way for yourself, only you can help your self no one else. Ghar aa gaya.

Trishna looked at him this time not hiding her tears. It was too much to handle, she said

" Mukund came to see me today, after atleast hundreds of unanswered calls. He said that he did not want to have anything to do with me because..

By this time she was sobbing, RK hugged her

RK:- It is very much about that, don't let any one hurt you Trisha, only you should have the power on your self. Don't let these nobodies become so important, they don't matter. What matter's is you and only you.

Trishna nodded her head in understanding.

Trishna:- Thankyou RK

RK:- I wont say welcome because I don't welcome weaknesses. Get over it before every thing is over. And no it is not better said than done for me. I have endured an equally nasty breakup if not worst. Chalta hoom main.

Trishna:- you came to see Malik?

RK:- He is not home

Trishna:- How do you know?

RK:- I am a phsycic……. No silly his car is not there in the porch and nor are any of his personal gunmen around.

Trishna:- You recognize his gunmen by face?? She was astonished.

RK:- you don't? he was shocked… " this is carelessness or what" any one can dressed up like a guard and come up to you saying he is malik's gunman and take you anywhere??

Trishna:- God forbid don't even say that

RK:- wakeup up girl ….you are too ignorant for your own good. Even an idiot would have thought twice before befriending Mukund. No point crying over spilt milk

Trishna:- yeah will try to learn and keep revising the lesson.

RK got down to get back to his car before leaving he again knocked her window and said.

RK:- do me a favour I will not have time to pickup Biwi's reports from Aniket so can you go and get it. Some are remaining and he will also give you a reference letter for a doctor in US and some medicines, and a book. Will you get it for me.

Trishna:- Mee?? You can send Bittuji or any of your chammach's

RK:- so you are busy… he was holding Aniket's card in his hands

Trishna:- I will get it if you insist…

RK:- Thankyou and he left Aniket's card on the passenger seat.

When he got in his car, he asked his driver to drive towards madhu's police station.

RK:- You learnt the lesson pretty quick Trishna, mera hi gana mujhey hi sunane chali thi.

He smirked and then thought someone needed a little bit of handling He tried calling Madhu. She did not answer, he tried again and again and again till he reached her office. He was pretty upset and literally barged into the police station. While every one else stood up, Mukund gave him a pretty nasty look.

RK looked straight into his eyes, and gave his most arrogant smirk ever.

Mukund:- what brings you here Mr. Kundra. Neither your Biwi nor your Dad is here.

RK:- a very personal message for you Mr Dixit brings me here. It's your choice were you would like to hear it admist your lovely staff and peons or somewhere more private.

Mukund Knew RK could be nasty and hence got up and came out in the front yard which was pretty much desserted at that time of the day.

RK:- Mukund I am glad that you have restrained yourself so far Trishna is concerned.

A smile creeped onto Mukund's very tensed face and he relaxed, but RK's stance was still unclear.

RK's had dark eyes which appeared darker with pleasure perhaps. This was something very unique to RK his eyes showed a whole lot. He had used this quality very successfully for his benefit as when needed.

RK:- That was a very very wise decision. God for you, you are not an Idiot after all you proved.

Mukund would have not looked this pleased with himself had he known RK's twisted sense of humor and even more so his temper issues. RK never behaved the way he did voluntarily. It was always spontaneous, he took pleasure in inflicting pain when it was least expected.

RK:- because anyways I would not have let Trishna marry you, or for that matter even her affair with you had a very very short life. Spineless idiots are not allowed around my family. Next time I see you hovering around any one from my family, you will never be able to recognize your self in the mirror.

Mukund was left in shock at the turn RK had taken out of the blue. His tone, his expression all said he meant every word of it. Above all he knew that not only his background but he himself was pretty much capable of inflicting any amount of harm he wished. He yet tried to keep his spirits high,

Mukund:- this talk of family and family values does not suit you RK

He managed to hit right under the belly but it was RK.

RK:- hmmm himmat…..ahaan but does not suit you. As of now I am seeing the deepest forests of Maharashtra calling you with so much love. Exert your stature and your powers in the wilderness of nature. Mukund was left speechless. RK left the courtyard without another word and seething in anger, not at Mukund but at his own reaction towards him. He was not able to understand what was upsetting him so much when he had expected this from Mukund much before even Gafuran had happened. RK had now gained a knack of recognizing snakes when he saw one and he always saw Mukund as a snake. What bothered him the most was he was in close vicinity of Madhu and wouldn't hesitate to harm her. RK was more than ceratin about getting him transferred as far away from Madhu as he could. Admist his agitated state of mind what RK did not notice was that Madhu had overheard the entire convo. She got it that it was Trishna that stemmed this anger but she did not understand what could have gone so wrong that called for this amount of fury. RK was gone and Madhu went inside the station. The first person to confront her was mukund,

Mukund :- welcome Madam asp or should I say mrs superstar

Madhu:- mam would suffice and revise the police hierchy pleasee. You are my subordinate, and this ammounts to open insubordination. Next time I will not tolerate it. What has caused such an eruption from you Dixit.

There she showed him his place pretty effectively.

Mukund:- You better call your husband and ask him or tell him…..

Madhu:- officer you are forgetting that I am no messenger to you. You have something to say to Mr. Rishabh Kundra Do it on your own. Don't try to put me into all this. Anyways I have work to do. Tambe Arjun ko bulana.

Tambe:- ji madam

Mukund looked at Madhu viciously which did not go unnoticed by her. Tambe had called Arjun The DSP who had worked on this case with her. She gestured him to sit. Mukund was till there.

Madhu:- You are dismissed officer ( she looked at Mukund).

Madhu gave Arjun Kukku Bhatia's file. She instructed him to be ready to arrest him any time once she calls him and gives him the instruction to do so.

Madhu:- Kukku Bhatia has lots of resources in the enforcement dept. He is trying his best to get this investigation shifted to them. That money laundering thing going on too. Keep me informed if you get any info. I am officially on leave for a month now.

Arjun :- Yes mam when are you leaving Mam

Madhu:- not sure but within next few days. I will be in touch. Keep an eye on him she hinted towards Mukund. Things had soured for him quite some time back, when he was pulled from this case. It is getting worse. Do not discuss any thing with any one but IG sir and CP. I don't want moles creating holes in my closely knitted fabric this time.

She got up and was about to leave when her phone buzzed, and RK glared on her screen.

Arjun:- Have a nice trip Mam and stay safe and enjoy.

She smiled.

Arjun:- Jai hind Mam

Madhu saluted back and left.

As soon as she boarded her jeep she called RK.

RK:- What an honor, Her excellency high and mighty, got some spare moments to return my call.

Madhu:- Don't waste you precious time hurling sarcasm on this poor and starved Biwi of your's my lord, had you given me your prestigious listening ear in the morning itself but for a measly moment, I would have been able to inform you about my meeting with CP. Par meri aisi kismet kahan ki Sitara-e –Hindustan ( star of India) ko kabhi hum jaisi dhool dikh bhi jaye.

RK:- Jitni dikhi ho utne mein hi meri nazar kamzor ho gayi hai, poori dikh gayi to kahin andha hi na ho jaon.

Madhu:- why were you calling me?

RK:- arrey wah , Bahadur aaj to tum darr gaye. Lunch ho gaya Bahadur ki abhi baki hai.

Madhu:- I already told you I am starving, so going to eat.

RK:- I will wait for you for lunch in the Dukes resort. Just 45 mins drive from your office. That is if you can survive till then or we can look for something closer.

Madhu:- don't you have something better to do than having lunch with me.

RK:- Biwi abhi to hum mile bhi nahi aur aap abhi se nazarein churane lagi.

Madhu:- RK, you need Aniket at this moment not me. I am certain you are not well today.

RK:- oh yes you are right, how can I be good jab ek makkhi mere kan pe rat bar khujli karti hai.

Madhu:- I am not coming. Chetan Gadi vapas lo.

RK:- hahaha Jaise jahan tum jaogi wahan to mere upar restraining order lag jayega. Chali aoo pyaar se bula raha hoon varna …. And he hanged up

It was funny what kind of effect she had on her. She could send him in a fit of rage one minute and splash him with coolest waters the next minute. She shared his crooked sense of humor. He was smiling feeling good about his difficult future

Chetan :- madam Gadi ghumaon

Madhu:- arrey nahi, chalo, yeh dukes resort pata hai kahan hai.

Chetan: Madam pata hai bilkul pata hai. Badi sahi jagah hai ekdam vilayati. Ekse badh kar ek log aatey hain wahan.

Madhu:- tum kab gaye

Chetan:- Mukund sir jaatey rehtey hain aaj kal

Madhu:- Mukund??? kyoun

Chetan:- Madam wo…

Madhu gave him a glare and he splurted out that Mukund was becoming friends with Kukku Bhatia and he went there yesterday also.

Chatan:- wok kal aap vyast thi vigilance walon ke saath to main khali tha socha kuch kam ka kam ar loon.

Madhu:- Chetan is baar promotion ke samay mere aankh ke samne zroor rehna.

Chetan:- Sarkar aap hum log ke saath rahein yahi kafi hai.

Madhu:- Nazar rakhna ispar. Main 2-3 din mein nikal rahi hoon.

Chetan:- sahib main aapko barabar khabar karta rahoonga.

She reached Dukes and gave RK a call. He told her to come staright to the Dutchess dinning room. Duke had a very old world charm. Huge, palatial and had private dinning rooms for guests like RK. They were given names like Duke's , king's queen's etc. She was here for the first time. One could really forget that they were in India. It was mostly occupied by foreign residents or Indians who could spare that much money. India was changing a few years back such a place would hardly have Indians, but today she could comfortably say that there were atleast 50 percent Indians who were enjoying a meal there.

Madhu asked the waiter there the direction to Dutchess room. She was enjoying every bit of this place or Palace. It was beautiful. She knocked at the door that said reserved for the Dutchess. She knocked and RK opened.

Madhu:- I thought that I would find you all dressed up in Victorian era breaches, Red coat , laced collar and all.

RK smiled and said

I was certain that my lady was going to be here in her mundane Khaki uniform so I wanted to match her up. You know didn't want you to be unconfortable. Next time I will keep it in mind.

Madhu:- It is beautiful, to be honest lovely and looks like I am in a different world.

RK:- I am glad you like it.

Madhu:- who said I liked it? Beauty is not always likeable or lovable.

RK:- Oops I just landed head first on the ground but I will have to agree with you. You do have a point. This place has its fair share ugliness. You know beauty and ugliness go hand in hand.

Madhu:- Have you already ordered. I am starving.

RK:- Don't you want to choose.

Madhu:- I don't have any options left but to go with you choice.

RK shifted restlessly.

Madhu:- No sarcasm intended. I was talking about my lack of choices due to my ailment and you being better informed about what suits me better being a doctor and all. I will be right back.

RK saw that she was speaking truthfully. She did not really intended any thing but what she said. She had taken her insulin and was going to restroom to self medicate.

RK held her hand and took the syringefrom her hand…

RK :- you freshen up while I order our lunch…

Madhu:- my medicine. I would do it my self.

RK:- I hate the way it will sound but pleasure is mine. I don't intend any sarcasm just saying I like caring for+ you.

Madhu looked at him trying to ascertain the amount of truth his words had. You never know when he could be acting. She liked how he cared for her, and lacked the courage to find out any different truth behind it. She left without any further ado.
