Dev Dixit again started looking for short cuts to solve his problems. Wen he badly wanted a nutritionist for his mom, he closed all gates for Sonakshi n forced her to take the job for him. His intention was good but he chose a wrong path to fulfil it. He didn cared for Sonakshi's emotions but his only priority was his mother's health . Sonakshi @ first was reluctant to take up the job seeing the rude nature of Mr Dixit but later gav in realising that she's doing injustice to her proffession as well as to a patient who needs her assistance very badly. Saurav too made Sona understand the typical behaviour of Mr. Dixit bcoz of his immense luv towards his mom , jst like the way they had it for their mom .It's all past now . But now Dev wants Sona to do all her work from home bcoz of her safety as well as for the well being of Soha . But wat if something happens @ home ?
After the truth of eviction , Vicky turned as the sole culprit where he had kept Dev as the one who made eviction notice for the Boses . I expected Sona having some heart to heart , meaningful talk with Dev. All these yrs, everyone in Bose house including Sona blamed Dev , @ least he needs such a comfort from Sona . Some nice words . But Cvs r nt yet ready for a Dev Sona whole hearted talk in it's true senses unlike with photographs, empty rooms or in inebriated state.
Dev is afraid that he may loose Sona again. He can't survive without her so he can't loose her @ any cost . But the fact is that nobody can separate them but themselves. Y Vicky was able to separate them in season 1 ? It was bcoz of them only. They didn trust each other . The scenario got worsened by the emergence of prenuptial agreement n eviction of the Boses from their house. Vicky succeeded in projecting Dev as the culprit . Now after this eviction truth, Dev was cleared from one of his faults . But the prenup is still der. I wish Ishwari confesses to Sonakshi bout the prenup & how she cheated Dev to sign those papers. If that too happens, Dev'll b cleared of all his faults which actually was never his. I'm still feeling bad for Dev thinking bout this. He was projected as a culprit of some crimes which he actually had no idea bout. If all misunderstandings bout Dev gets cleared , then Sona can make him understand that no matter wat happens, she's never ever gonna leave him again. If he get such an assuarance, Dev no longer need to b insecure or over protective bout Sona. For that a heart to heart peaceful talk bet Devakshi is essential. Either Sona need to book a resort jst like the way she did to celebrate their SR or Dev need to book an entire restaurant, jst like the way he used to do for others like Ritwick or Payal but try to do the same for themselves too. Hav a meaningful peaceful convo away from all these hullabaloo , spend some time happily n clear all the misunderstandings.
But I didn like Dev showing dictatorship towards Sonakshi . Don try to impose our decisions on others but ask their consent & unanimously take decisions. Sona had lived 7 yrs away from Dev n she herself established well in her career , @ the same time , she single handedly managed looking after Soha , of course with the help of her family . AOS, if anyone comes to hinder in her professional life ,citing the well being of her child , I don think Sona can take that as lightly , nt even normal humans can. Independence & freedom of speech r everyone's right .Esp for an entrepreneur like Sona who took decisions by herself so far , it'll b very difficult if one fine morning someone , even if it's her husband , out of anxiety taking a decision bout her job without her consent . Dev is trying to impose his decisions on her which is wrong. Dev shud've consulted her b4 taking any actions on her behalf. For this , this duo needs to open up. Cvs , pl make them talk. They can even talk bout their bitter separation n try to find out wer they went wrong. Introspection is essential once in a while. ( Dev had already irritated Sona with the tracker app installation in her mobile without her consent )
Dev's anxiety n anticipations r actually baseless . Sona's late night experience was a mere accident. It was neither a planned one nor she belongs to Z category .But this is wat happens everywhere, including metropolitan cities wen a woman is left stranded @ late night. Jst like Sona said, people will take an umbrella during rains to reach their destinations rather sitting @ home , wen needed. V , sometimes falls prey to such dire circumstances but learn some lessons from such incidents too. Same goes with Soha accident too. It was a result of carelessness , nothing else.
I'm nt gonna say dev shud b saved or sona shud b saved but rather let them save n help themselves. Both of them r biased , flawed n nt doing the right things for the time being .They need to pour out their hearts for themselves, minimise the differences n need to look things from each others POVs. Put themselves into each others shoes n then try to deal things .
. Lets rewind the writers words.. all characters r real, incorrigible n unpredictable. Wen they fight , they pick the points that r most convenient to them , ignoring instances n arguments that don't suit their side. So incidents like this will shower in our show . As per spoilers.if sona leaves Dev for a while n goes bak to her house , it'll surely giv a wake up call to dev as for a healthy family life, nt only luv n care but giving space too is important. The couples shud've good communication bet themselves n respect each others decisions but never force / impose ourselves on our partners . As for viewers it's jst like Dev said in season 1 , looking thru the rose glasses... sab kuch gulabi gulabi dikhta hai. If v look thru, Dev glass , u'll only c his goodness n if u c thru sona glass , u can c everything good bout her but try to c things from both sides, everything ll b crystal clear n only then v can relate to this unpredictable , deep rooted , impossible ( both Dev n Sona.. tumi ekdom impossible ! ) characters.
P.S. I always felt the look of these actors surely enhanced the POVs of characters in influencing the viewers. If it's nt for Shaheer, I don think ,Dev wud get such a recognition even with/without his flaws n the same goes with Erica's Sonakshi too.
Btw, Sonakshi had warned Vicky nt to do any harm to their family or Dev even after knowing his hand in their eviction from their house. But after knowing his failed attempt to sell Dev's software , Sona didn even lift her small finger ( some other finger was apt, but anyways ) against him. How cud that even possible for a strong, independent , intelligent girl like Sonakshi ? CVs..Kuch bhi !!
