Welcome to the weekly analysis thread, where we dissect the heck out of the characters, situations, and the possibilities for the leap! This thread is dedicated to in-depth character and story analysis in this new phase of the show. Let's explore how the show, in its complexity makes us think. We leave the thread open-ended so that we can discuss varied topics with each other in a more informal way, and new thread begins every Sunday evening for ongoing discussions as the week unfolds. If you are interested in this exercise, jump right in!

Felt an intense urge to say it and that's why logged in;

I am not a fan of Shaheer's new haircut. IDK if he did it for himself, or any other character but the haircut doesn't suit the personality and character of Devrath Dixit. It's a more Vicky haircut. It doesn't have the look of a wealthy businessman or a decent cultured man who walks in elite business or societal circles.

Similarly, some of Sonakshi's outfits, like the recent cheetah print one with a rough make up made her appearance look a bit girlish but not in a good type of way.

The show has so far carried the setting of a wealthy, educated families through appearance with decent styling. I hope the same remains going forward.

No offense to anyone who does like or doesn't mind. I just don't see eye to eye on that matter.

Congratulations for new threadand welcome to new week

Past week was one of the most LIT week with finest performances and some seriously remarkable performances and a very delicately handled track of LIVE IN relationships..so Big shout out to CVs for their wonderful work their..

Special mention to Supriya ji for her exceptionsl performance in some significant sequences she added so much depth gravity and power with her spot on performance Next were Shaheer and Erica..with their oh so subtle and controlled emotional reactions episodes and story looks so intense and real..Next I would like to give applaud all other actors as well ..they were fabulous too according to their characters..everyone gives their 100% and I admire them alot for that..when its mami ji Neha Raunita Riya Mamaji or others..they all are very honest with their roles

I would like to mention my fav sequnce story wise from last week and I pick "the confrontation" scene..which blew me away with its subtlety strength and meaningful dialogs..BIG BIG KUDOS to the dialog writers they do such marvelous job I just cant help but feel proud of KRPKAB

And how can I forget the Friday romantic cute hot scene with new haircut of Shaheer..their close moments are always bliss to watch and a hard core hopeless romantic in me parties..Its treat..pure pleasure and I call it DEVAKSHI-SPA ..relaxing soothing and rejuvenating HAHA

Yes inspite of such a powerful wee their were few things which were off my taste and liking but I would rather ignore them in front of the awesomness I witnessed..So I excuse you makers for them

This coming week will be a Devkashi-fied atleast first 2-3 episodes as per the spoilers..so I am all set to witness some sexiness emotions their oozing love..All so excited

I expect more members of this forum and regular permanent visitors of this thread to contribute as much as you can ..Maximum I mean..so please be active guys..lets target 30 pages this week ..So get reading for coming episodes and pur in your thoughts assumptions expectations all what you have ..Have fun ..Cheers

Areeba, good to see you back.

I agree on the haircut. As haircut err hot as he looks, so far it's not working as S2/S3 Dev. I saw a photo of shaheer on Facebook and that styling looks fab(i don't think it was for our show. It was a manbun and looked amazing). I think they will get there.

I however, love the current styling of sonakshi.

Hello everyone,

Congratulations for the new thread. I am pretty new to the Forum a week old and this is my first to this thread, though I have read some of your previous threads and am truly amazed on how well some of you write and analyze.

As far as previous week: I loved 07/12 episode. The 3 scenes that became my favorite for 07/12 episode were Supriyaji's scene with Nikki when she rejects Nikki's Live-In relationship with Lakshya and two of Shaheer's scenes, one with Nikki outside of IN after Nikki leaves IN with Lakshya (it actually made me very emotional and brought tears to my eyes) and then Dev's scene with his Maa convincing her about Nikki and Lakshya's relationship.

I try to be positive and try to convey positive messages. Though I respect everyone's POV and accept them with open mind. I feel that the whole series of KRPKAB has been handled so well by everyone involved, the entire team, from PH, story writer, dialogue writers, director, production team, the actors and everyone else including viewers. The makers have portrayed different colors of each relationship in different situations and timings in a very true and beautiful sense. I feel it's just a blessing for us that we are able to witness something like this on Indian Television. I just love it and truly feel blessed to have been part of KRPKAB as a viewer!!!!

I live in USA so am always fighting with time difference. I get to watch episodes approximately 12 hours after most of you who live in India. Keeping up with the writing and analysis become harder as far as timing except for weekends however, will definitely try to participate each day in timely manner.

You all can call me Ji which is short form of my real name. Lot of my friends call me that.

Again, accept my sincere congrats for the new thread and am hoping to be participating with you all regularly.

Agree with you Areeba . He may look hot but the hairstyle did not go well with Dev Dixit. He is not Anant Bajpay he is the business tycoon. However shabby he looked with long hair,it still worked well for Dev. I don't know what made him prefer this kind of styling. I only hope it will change since Shaheer himself says his hair grows back fast.

Sonakshi's styling also should change a bit. It is ok to be modern and stylish but that doesn't mean she will roam around in such clothes 24/7. She can also wear casual Kurtis at home.

I can't support Vicky's behaviour,his cry against the injustice done to him. .. I feel like saying my views on his extremely insensitive behaviour towards Dixits.

Yes. Mamaji used his PF amount for Riya. He gave them shelter. But Dikshits reciprocated more than enough I feel. Who will keep the whole family in their house years together? And rhe position they enjoyed in Iswari Nivas,isn't it sufficient for them? They were given royal treatment. RadhaRani almost ruled the house and Iswari respected her tolerated her even at the cost of her own Bahu getting hurt in the process.

Vicky was admitted in a very good institute the fees for which is pretty high and Dev gave the cheque without thinking twice. When RadhaRani wanted a car for her son immediately Dev obliged. When Vicky complained about the nature of his appointed post in the company Iswari and Dev readily gifted him that despite Sonakshi 's displeasure. Isn't this appreciation? Any one in Dev's position will buy them a house and accommodate them there. But did that happen? Still Vicky feels sidelined?

Seven years. This seven year period is making Tripathis Mahan I don't know why. RadhaRani looked after her family. No one else is left in IN except Iswari. The girls got married,Nikky went off. So RadhaRani enjoyed freedom of being the sole owner with Iswari retreating back to her room,to her solitude and to her introspection.

I am sure Vicky hardly bore the burden of the family. Dev's company is doing well despite his being away from it physically and I know he would have monitored the matters from outside. I am pretty sure Dev has a very competent group of officials who have the skill in running the company. Their input is valuable. Vicky would have just gone to the office and enjoyed his chair. He has neither the brains nor the intention to involve to make his presence felt.

So I won't recognise his contribution as valuable in those seven years. Moreover he is the one who sold half of the office to Sona for his own benefit. And the tax inconsistencies? Vicky only is responsible again.

Hence why is he sulking for not getting his due? If Mamaji compared him with Dev and discouraged him by insulting him again and again Vicky also is responsible for not having the zeal to prove himself if not on par with Dev Dixit atleast as any person of his age . But he never thought about it. Why? Even Bijoy also discouraged Saurabh at every step but Saurabh did not become a Vicky. He also has a more competent role model at home,Sonakshi. But he did what he could do without getting lost in unnecessary grudges and competitions.

About Vicky's claim on being Golu's father I think he faltered in his duties towards his son since the begining.He allowed Dev to bond with Golu for making him the sole successor. Now if he wants him back...Golu is not a toy or object of enjoyment. It is very hard for egoistic Vicky to win back his son.

I strongly feel Vicky,the person is a failure in life. No one can determine the destiny of a person. He himself has to carve his own life in a successful way.

These are my views on Vicky the problem child of Tripathis.
