Welcome to the weekly analysis thread, where we dissect the heck out of the characters, situations, and the possibilities for the leap! This thread is dedicated to in-depth character and story analysis in this new phase of the show. Let's explore how the show, in its complexity makes us think. We leave the thread open-ended so that we can discuss varied topics with each other in a more informal way, and new thread begins every Sunday evening for ongoing discussions as the week unfolds. If you are interested in this exercise, jump right in!

_____________

Everyone is invited to join as long as they avoid:

1. Moral policing. This thread should be an inclusive and safe space for people to express their views. This is a work of fiction and multiple interpretations only make it a richer experience. If something about the show makes you uncomfortable, be open to the idea that you might be missing the necessary perspective that someone else could provide.

2. Bashing CVs. Criticism is welcome, but should be focused and constructive.

3. Bashing the characters, or pitting them against one another. If you think either the Dixits or the Boses are entirely right, and the other entirely to blame, this is not the thread for you.

And most importantly...

4. BASHING OR PERSONAL INSULTS OF OTHER MEMBERS

This means we accept other people's viewpoints with respect, and don't call them names for not agreeing with us. Either we continue the argument calmly, supported by examples from the show, or we respectfully agree to disagree and leave that discussion alone.

Thanks to Sam and dq for the new thread as well as congratulations to all for entering in to third week discussion thread by sticking to rules to maintain a clean and healthy discussion environment. It's a great pleasure to go through such wonderful perceptions in the previous thread.

I am looking forward to this week's episodes with a hope that I may get some scenes where I can understand what exactly Sona wants? This girl is confusing me more than dev now after watching last week episodes.

In the hotel she was having problem in using the room opposite to his room since she wants some peace but she don't have any problem in sharing workspace with him daily.

She wanted to throw this guy out of the hotel to get rid of him but she goes and tells him that she won't back out from this deal and even rejects thirty percent profit. Interesting business deal to attain profit and peace.

Lata interesting points you have raised. In the end both found some reason to see each others face everyday. I know no logic in not accepting the 30% profit, but then keeping them together under one roof, this is the only way to cut down on the shooting cost you see. 😆 roz roz you cannot have them buy icecreams or check into emerald and coral suits,

@sam thanks for this thread. I may not be active here, but I do enjoy reading when time permits.

The season 2 is high on drama, less on logic. You raised valid points on Sona 's thing. The new establishment now makes up for some popcorn entertainment, that's all.
Another weird thing was that bijoy and sona never conversed about the police fiasco. Bijoy didn't follow up on what happened thereon after he sent the police - CVs forget to show another conversation between gunni or bijoy or sona. That was inconsistent.
