Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira's stand for Abhir backfires as the Poddars turn against her

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Armaan accidentally crosses paths with Abhira and casually checks whether she managed to submit the form. Abhira admits she was about to complete it, but an argument with Tanya, after she gave advice to Kiara, sidetracked her. She decides she will return later to finish it. Before Armaan can say anything further, Abhir calls her, and she steps away to answer the phone.

Abhir Shares His Plans for the Baby

During the call, Abhira discovers that Abhir has injured himself. Abhir then tells her he is busy setting up things for his future baby. He shares that growing up, he always longed for a room of his own, and now he wants his child to have everything he missed out on. To ensure Kiara is looked after while he works, he hires a nanny for her. Abhira is surprised by his commitment and asks if he truly cares for Kiara so deeply. Abhir responds that his love for Kiara is unconditional.

Manisha Pushes Kiara Toward an Unwanted Marriage

Meanwhile, Manisha keeps pressuring Kiara to agree to the marriage she has arranged. Kiara is overwhelmed and confused. When Abhira arrives and sees what is happening, she firmly tells Manisha that she cannot force Kiara to marry someone she barely knows. Manisha instantly lashes out, warning Abhira to stay out of her personal matters.

Even though Abhira tries to explain why the decision is unfair, Manisha refuses to understand. Abhira then resolves that she won't let Kiara walk into a life she doesn't want, and she will stop the wedding at any cost.

Tanya grows anxious seeing how Manisha is constantly hovering around Kiara. Both Tanya and Armaan are stunned when they notice the wedding preparations already underway. Kiara gathers courage and tells Manisha she cannot go through with the marriage.

Manisha responds by asking if Kiara would rather marry Abhir. Armaan steps in, reminding Manisha that forcing Kiara into marriage is wrong. Manisha becomes emotional and declares she will die if Kiara rejects the groom she selected. Armaan says emotional manipulation isn't acceptable and asks everyone in the Poddar family not to support such a decision.

Abhira Brings Abhir’s Proposal and Creates Chaos

Manisha proceeds to welcome Ajay and his mother. When Kaveri finds out that Ajay is nearly double Kiara's age, she is taken aback. Manisha tells Ajay he is free to ask Kiara anything he wants. Ajay questions Kiara about her studies, and both he and his mother appear satisfied.

Just then, Abhira storms in dramatically, introducing Abhir's marriage proposal for Kiara. Feeling insulted by the interruption, Ajay and his mother leave immediately.

Kaveri Pulls Armaan Away From Abhira

Armaan gets upset and confronts Abhira for humiliating the family in front of guests. Abhira argues that since Armaan wasn't taking action, she stepped forward to protect Kiara. She ends up supporting Abhir's stance, which angers the Poddar family even more. Manisha labels Abhira selfish, and soon Vidya and Kaveri join in blaming her. Despite the criticism, Abhira encourages Kiara to speak for herself and make her own choices. Manisha quickly pulls Kiara away, preventing her from saying anything further.

Armaan tries to comfort Abhira, but Kaveri drags him aside before he can talk to her properly. Abhira is heartbroken. Seeing her upset, Maira checks if Armaan has said something hurtful and offers to confront him on her behalf. Abhira insists she is fine, but Maira decides she will stand by her no matter what.

In the precap, Armaan tells Abhira to stop being so rigid, while Abhira asks him to stop judging Abhir without understanding him. Later that night, Abhir secretly enters Kiara's room. The next morning, Manisha accuses Abhira of helping Abhir sneak into the house. Abhira questions why Manisha is doubting her. Manisha, however, turns completely against her.
