copying what I said in the other topic

I'm in the minority. Just finished Monday's episode and I loved it!

the hair is bad, i won't lie but everything else was spot on for me.

I felt the spark, although rushed track no doubt.

I did see signs of possessiveness from Dev though, little seeds of it coming through in that last scene/hug.

i don't see any other purpose for that short track other than to bring this emotion from him about. it's not tied to vicky or anything.

On a side note, I do think Vicky will kick dev and the family out of the house. The second Dev said he'd kick Vicky out, i had a feeling the opposite is going to happen.

Ohk.. i just watched the episode again and i realised that she boarded the bus because those 2 goons were standing behind her at the bus stop.She came out of the car because she saw a lady at the stop but when the bus came and the lady started to leave,Sona noticed those goons standing behind her ...she got scared and boarded the bus.

She wasn't planning to... she kept standing there but then she noticed the goons and boarded the bus.

Dev's hairstyle looked so distracting . Who is that hairstylist that gave him such wierd style I wonder. Like Rekha said it may suit Vicky but not Dev Dixit. Horrible styling. God ! Shaheer should look at himself on screen and do the needful.

I don't know the significance of Sonakshi goondas sequence. What did the writers want to convey through this I couldn't fathom.Only thing that strengthened my assessment is Sonakshi's overconfidence in dealing with situations. She could have taken Saurav along with her. He may not be able to handle the meeting but he can be her escort atleast.

Dev is with his sisters. Taking photos. But how could Sonakshi think that his being with her is lesser in importance than his spending time with his sisters? Only TV serial heroines will do so. In real life a matured woman will think twice to step out of her house at night time that too in Delhi all alone. If the necessity of her attending that meeting is explained well the sisters would have understood and let Dev go with her. Dev himself would have preferred to come with her. But no. Sonakshi Bose should do things in her own way only.

Apart from her falling in danger,she made Dev tensed up. It is not easy to drive in such mental state. What if his car also broke down? What if he reached her a bit late? I feel Sonakshi should have taken Dev and Saurabh also with her . Some times One is very less a number than three or four. Dev against four is risky. How many incidents we are hearing when the boyfriend failed to save the girl...too many I say. So if the writers introduced the scene to make Sonakshi realise her foolishness and over confidence,it worked for me. Sonakshi will never venture to take such a risk again.

I am now sure of Vicky Elena separation. Elena 's patience is running out. Good for her if she moves away from such a nasty,evil minded in sensitive person like Vicky. Better to keep Golu away from such a father. I hope she will take a stand for herself and her son.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for the superb writing and analysis. Everyone has written interesting analysis and POV and I am again amazed on every ones dedication and love for KRPKAB. I am going to limit my writing to yesterday's episode on what fell short for me and what I liked the most.

Just watched 07/17 episode again, here in USA it reruns next day from 7 - 7:30 am M - F. @KShah1987 I am in with you on this, I liked the episode for the most part. Though there was so much hype during past weekend about the kidnapping track and the episode, I expected little more, especially because it is KRPKAB we are talking about. This is the reason I am not at all in favor of spoilers and segments. I feel they ruin my curiosity and I start expecting more than I should. As @Itelidvara (Lakshmi) said, I fail to understand significance of Sonakshi and Gunday sequence, though I give credit to the makers for not dragging the entire kidnapping issue and finishing it within one episode as @YASHO1997 also mentioned. I hope it links to something coming up in future track like Devakshi's "Pyar Ka Naya Rang" that Mamta Mam Twitted.

The highlight for me in 07/17 episode was Vaibhav Singh's (actor who plays Vicky's character) acting in all the scenes thorough out the episode. He was excellent in beautifully bringing out the drunk, jealous, egoistic, ruthless, insecure, lonely, insensitive, aggressive, a failed individual in every sense and relationship whether as a son, brother, husband or father. His dialogue delivery, expressions, hostility in his eyes looked so real that he made me hate his character even more and the credit goes to Vaibhav Singh's acting skills.

As far as Shaheer's new hair style for Dev Dixit's character, I agree with most of you except the positive thinker in me is keeping my faith in the actor and makers and believe (hope & pray) that there may be something in future track which can justify it. Let's see!!!!

I agree with you. Vaibhav Singh as Vicky just nailed with his awesome performance. He is perfect in his expressions with apt body language and excellent dialogue delivery. Because of his amazing acting skills Vicky looks so real and cruel. A hero should have a suitable anti hero who can balance the heroism with villainy . Both should complement each other to make the show work for us. Here Shaheer has an able anti hero Vaibhav Singh who will match him in all the nuances of acting not to forget the height and looks. Kuch Rang became successful because of perfect casting. That makes half the battle won for the makers.

Do write your views more often despite variation in timings. We have many analysts here who stay abroad. You can manage.

Hello everyone.

I just loved yesterday's episode, although it scared me quite a times.

Starting with Vicky's scene, he has actually got scary and with new spoiler I am sure he will mess up lot of things for everyone and himself. Elena didn't let him hit her and held his hand and then Dev tried to put some sense into him. But i think this double dhamaka strengthens his urge to do something harmful.

Sona got an important call n tried her best to avoid meeting, but client were adamant. She could have messaged Dev before going or may be after. He would have never let her drive back alone. But i guess her phone signals were troubling her. One thing which i noticed is ma- beti's trust in Dev. Soha's "I know", when Dev said i will bring back ur mummy and Sona's "my hero will save me", conveys a lot.

So, Sona informed worried Dev and he asked her to stay in car, which prolly she didn't listened. She sat in the car and pretended to talk over phone, when some goons passed by. That was very very real and i have done it like many times. Kudos to her presence of mind till then.

Now we all know segment portion was edited where goons catches sonakshi and after that bus incident would have happened. It would have chained the incidents somewhat more logically but can't take it as it was not shown. The only thing is why did they made poor Erica shoot whole night, if they have to edit it. -_-

Anyways, so Sonakshi felt weird and went to bus stop to stand with the lady. Yes she could have closed the windows and sit in the car, but in panic situations we all take decisions like that. She saw another lady, felt secured and went to stand with her until her hubby arrives. That was her plan but the lady boarded in the bus and Sonakshi had to follow her because goons were still following her and she had no other option. She called Dev and told him about her location (Although i wonder how can anyone reach Dwarka from highway so fast :|) Okay so the lady got down and sonakshi should also have done the same, but she didn't.

The moment i saw her alone in that bus and three drunkards board in, my heart sank. Bad memories of 2012 case haunted me so badly n m thankful to makers that they didn't stretched this sequence. _/\_ May be the drunkards didn't had any intention to misbehave with Sonakshi as they were getting down. But Sonakshi getting scared was so natural.

Then comes the hero and he saw his wife surrounded by drunkards, scared and helpless and his instant reaction was to save her n thus he beat them up. Very apt reaction. The next he did was to hug Sona and assure himself that she is fine. Fear was visible on his face thinking of consequences what would have happened if he was not on time. Sonakshi was relieved to be in his arms. He said he will never let her go and that's from where his over protectiveness will start.

Unlike many, i loved the episode. I dunno i felt Devakshi's natural chemistry as i was not expecting anything dramatic or romantic in this situation. Both Erica and Shaheer were so subtle and natural with their performances. Dev was hugging her again and again and simultaneously scolding her for being irresponsible. N his famous "gardan pakdo" wala hug made this scene more real. He held her tight.

Another thing which many people are complaining about showing Sonakshi dumb. Yes she was careless, but in panic situations, brain stop working and you take decisions which you shouldn't. I could completely relate to her situation. In fact i was telling Mahua, how i have done similar things and she called me foolish too. 😆

So all in all episode was scary, yet good and i liked it.

Awesome post Chaaru. 👏 . I think the reason for that scene was the bold blue. When Ishwari landed in hospital eating all those sleeping pills,, Dev was also in a panic situation where his brain stopped working. The only thing he could think about was "what if" he had not found her when he did, or if she had died or some other bad thing had happened to her. And he took a decision he otherwise wouldn't have taken. And said things that he otherwise wouldn't have said. I feel all these scenarios are for Sonakshi to understand Dev's dilemma's, his actions which she couldn't understand at times.

Just my pov. not intended to hurt anyone.
