PROLOGUE:

"Dance with me.."The deep voice of the tall masked man in complete black suit whispered in her ear..

A strange current passed through her body,as soon as those big male hands got hold of hers,and she was pulled from her darkened corner,where she had taken refuge to hide from the seeking male eyes of the masquerade party..

Astha gasped out,as another shock wave of current passed through her,when his hands moved round her waist..

She looked up into his eyes,hidden by the black mask..

"Who are you?"Astha whispered softly..

A nice warm chuckle from him,sent her hormones dancing too,as they danced to the soft romantic music..Actually he was the one making her dance,as she did not know the D of dancing..

"You did not recognize me?!I'm your DESIRE.."He whispered pulling her closer to his hard male body..And Astha gasped out once more,as another strange piercing current passed through her slim body,and she was lost in his eyes..

She was so lost in the stranger's eyes,she did not notice when he had stopped dancing and took her to a darkened corner..She realized,his lips were descending to hers,and strangely,she did not protest,when the firm male lips claimed her soft ones..

A cascade of emotions burst out,and her body leaned onto his,as he kissed her passionately and possessively..Shock waves of pleasure pierced her entire being,as his lips passionately caressed hers..Sucking on them,with extreme hunger and need..

Astha knew,she must be in heaven,or maybe hell..But she could not fight the desire he was evoking in her..These were so new to her..She moaned out in pleasure,when his hands caressed her back,pulled her closer,and his tongue took entry in her mouth..And the kiss became even more raw and passionate...

"ASTHA!WAKE UP!"

Astha woke up with a gasp,and instantly touched her lips..The dream was so real..She had relived it ever since it had happened in that unforgettable masquerade party,where her friends had forcefully taken her..And she never found out the masked stranger's identity..

Her mother smiled warmly at her,and gave her the morning newspaper,and reminded her of her interview..

"Get ready sweetheart!You don't want to be late for your interview,do you?!"

After her mother left,Astha looked at the newspaper..The first page had a photo of Shlok Agnihotri..The famous business tycoon..Another article on him,she thought,as rage took over her..

She angrily tore his picture out of the paper,shredded it to pieces,and rolling it into a ball,she threw it at the waste paper basket..

"I loathe you Mr. Shlok Agnihotri!I LOATHE YOU!"Astha seethed out..

Shlok smiled politely,at another acquaintance,and hurried towards the exit of the party..He was getting stifled by it all..He had to attend the party,just for his family and business..But now he could not take it anymore..He had to leave right then..No one and nothing could keep him,at the party right then..

"Finally here..!"He muttered,as he parked his SUV,outside the place that was supposed to be his home..

He quickly reached his bedroom,and reached for his shelf,and took out the wine bottle..He had to fight the demons clawing at his insides once again..

He took another sip of the wine directly from the bottle,as he sat on the sofa,in his bedroom..He had to forget that night..He had to wash away the memories of that night..He drank on,until he felt the numbing effect of the wine,making him forget the memories..He was already halfway to forgetting that night..
