Astha was dumbstruck by want had just happened..Who had pulled her into his arms this time..Was it..?
"Arey!Won't you share this lovely prize with me?!"Another drunk voice muttered from above her head."Hum bhi to dekhe kaisa lagta hai pyaar kar ke..[Let me also see how it feels to love..]"He continued nuzzling his face onto her hair.
Astha's blood ran cold.She was trapped for good.Between two unknown,drunk men..Men who did not seem to have a bone of decency or a single good intention,she realized,with a growing feeling of utter doom..
"Rohan yaar!Don't be a spoil sport!I found her first!This is entirely my prize!Give her to me!"The first drunk man said,as he pulled back Astha into his arms again.
Rohan!The second guy is Rohan!Then who is this first one?!Astha thought,really terrified by now..However,she did not have to wait long,to know the other man's identity,or to be precise his name.
"Come on Karan yaar!You can't be so selfish!I had my eyes on her first!"Declared Rohan,and pulled Astha back into his arms.
"She is mine!"Again,Astha was pulled into the Karan's arms.
"No she is-"
"WAIT!Stop it!"Astha snapped out,setting herself free from Karan's arms before Rohan could pull her back into his arms."What do you guys think I am?!A ping pong ball?!!Who the hell are you two arguing over me?!You don't have any right to do this to me!"Astha snapped out angrily.
The two men stared at her,dumbstruck at her outburst.
"Now move over and let me go!I have a party to attend!"Astha tried to push past them,but then,she was pushed against a wall,in a darker corner,by both the men this time.
Shit!Instead of giving them that lecture,I should have run instead,while these two were in their drunk surprised mode..Astha thought too late.These are hyenas and I made the mistake of thinking they are harmless teddy bears..I should not have lectured them like that!Now you are gone for good Astha!
She stood trapped between the two huge drunk men,against a darkened wall all alone.Her heart thudding with extreme fear,as the two drunk men breathed their stale breath on her face..
"What's the hurry sweetheart?!"Said Rohan in a soft voice.
"Yes,baby!The night is still young,and so are we!"The guy called Karan cackled out.
"I think it's time we share her..What say Karan?!Let's have a good threesome party!Our miss here seems to be in the mood to party!"Rohan laughed out in an ugly way.
Cold icicles of dread were running through Astha's spine now.The two looming male figures,blocking her escape route,and their stale drunk breath on her face,was terrifying her..She tried to open her mouth to scream for help,but no sound was coming out!Bile of fear rose in her throat now..She was trapped for good!
Shlok could feel his phone vibrate,and he took out the phone.Checking the screen,he realized it was hid dad.He had to receive it,if it was his dad's call.
"HELLO!HELLO BABA?!"Shlok could not hear a word from the other side of the line,due to the loud music from the dance floor.
He had to get out of the party to talk.
"Hello..?!"
Shlok walked out of the party to talk on the phone..
Two minutes later he kept the phone..A determined look on his face.
Baba said it was urgent,meant it was urgent..He had to leave the party right now..He should not be a second late..Shlok sighed out,and started for his car..
Astha stood plastered to the wall,her eyes desperately seeking for a way out..She had to escape now..She had to run..
"Come on sweetheart!Let us go and party!"Said Rohan,grabbing her arm tightly.
Astha's blood chilled as she saw the leering ugly look on his face.She was scared to face her other tormentor,who,she was sure had a similar expression on his face..
Suddenly she was being pulled and dragged further backwards,into the darkness..
"Where..where are you taking me?!"Astha managed to croak out in a choked dry voice..Her eyes frantically seeking some respite,but seeing none..
Her terror was escalating by the second,as she realized,she was being dragged further back into the building..Away from the party..Away from people..Away from safety..
"Let me go!Please!Stop this!HELP!Someone please help me!"She managed to croak out in her dry voice,but her voice was not loud enough..To be heard above the sound of the party music..She tried to set her hand free from the hard grip,but in vain..
Astha found herself in a dark room,as the two men circled her..
Street lights were the only lights in the dark room she had been forcefully brought into,coming from a narrow window at the corner..
Astha breathed hard and deep,her eyes frantically looking for a escape route from the two hyenas leering at her..
"Oh baby!It's party time!"Said one ugly male voice.Astha was not sure which,as at that time she could not think clearly.At that moment the two men were identical..Two hyenas,in the dress of civility with their masks shed showing the real monsters within them..
Bile was clogging her throat,adrenaline ran through her blood stream,and futile tears of frustration and rage were making her vision blurred.
They were coming closer now!She realized as her terror escalated..
Bappa!Please save me!Astha prayed in desperation,as the men cornered her..
Her back against a dark and hard wall,she tried to push herself away from them as much as possible..But it was of no use,as the men literally stood a breathing distance away from her..
Astha closed her eyes,tears falling from them,as she felt the men breathing heavily against her face..
"Oh sweetheart..I have been wanting to take you into my arms,ever since I saw you.."Whispered one male voice..His fingers tracing her throat,making her skin crawl.
Bappa..!Astha prayed desperately,tears falling from her eyes continuously,as the men came closer and closer..
"Come on baby!Let's start our private party!I really want to feel your soft body close to mine!In my arms.."Leered out another male voice..
"Too bad!I've to break your party..I think I am the only one who has the right to have her in my arms!"Declared a third male voice from the doorway of the room..
Astha along with her two tormentors turned to face the tall and broad silhouette of the newcomer at the doorway..The three of them startled by his silent entry..
The two men looked irritated,while Astha was stuck between.She was not sure whether to be relieved or more scared..It could be a third tormentor..
"Who the hell are you?!"Demanded,an irritated Karan..
"Shlok Agnihotri..Astha Kirloskar's finace.."Came the husky but chilled reply...
