This is going to be a thread of very short stories. No, I cannot call them stories but I would say that they are the pieces which make a whole and outside the grand context, they exist as independent entitiy.

Each post will contain a story made up of 54 words. 55th word will be the title.

Rabbit

The sight of rabbit being chased by a pack of wolves made him weary. When the rabbit, no the girl, collided head on and begged him to save her he had looked at the situation in absolute disinterest.

He shook her off him and drank his beer.

And after that, everything started to change.

the rabbit and the wolves - brilliant!!! 👏 i could very well picture that... geet did look like a scared rabbit there... i wonder what that makes maan - the beer drinking lion? 😆

54 words huh....why so short?

Different style indeed. Just one question. Who are we supposed to imagine? Geet-Maan , AR or Nupur - Mayank? Or nobody in particular. This is one that goes beyond imagining somebody particular.

and another... and another - into a chain... it can't take you a lifetime to do some bunches of 54 words though, sookie san - i shall read it all at once... i'm the kind who needs more than 54 at a time... =)

ps: the idea of it is very like that good reads thing - the 66, 55, word pieces? i think the owner of that page holds monthly, or is it quarter yearly contests? ...

i'd like to see a chain of 6 word stories though... =) they are mega-genius! :P

a fate entwined

meeting separation
then some desperation

of want and need warring
of words sparring

a love story familiar yet different
with underlined chemistry inherent

a storyteller extraordinaire
words used with flair

is what i deem you to be
interesting is just the beginning, the end i want to see..
