Kalindi tried to call Aastha but always got a message saying "The number you are trying is currently switched off". Kalindi was worried. Ajju too couldn't understand what would have happened. Kalindi called Avdhoot and told him to come home immediately.

Here, Aastha was angry as well as surprised.

Aastha : Tum!! Yahan? Aur yeh kya kiya tum ne?

She picked up her shattered phone.

Aastha : Pata hai Aai kitni pareshaan ho rahi hogi?!!

Shruti, who was angry with Aastha, kept looking at her with folded hands.

Shruti : Job mil gayi, aur mujhe bataya tak nahi?!!

Aastha : Shruti main tumhein batane hi waali thi... Waise tum yahan kaise?

Shruti : (super excited) Guess what?? I got the job too!!!

Both were so happy... It was their dream to work together... and today it had come true!!

They both left for home on Shruti's scooty. On the way Aastha called Kalindi and told her that everything was fine and she was reaching home in a few minutes. Shruti dropped Aastha at the gate.

Aastha : Arey thodi der andar toh chalo!!

Shruti : No yaar, not today! Mujhe bhi ghar jaake sab ko batana hai!!

Both hugged each other congratulating, as Avdhoot, Kalindi and Ajju came to the door, their desperation to meet Aastha was clearly visible on their faces. Kalindi hurried towards Aastha looking at her holding Aastha's face in her hands...

Kalindi : Aastha!! Tu theek toh hai? Tera phone kyun switched off aa raha tha? Sab theek hai na?

She saw all eyes were on her, waiting for her reply. She thought of making slight fun of them.

Aastha : (walking towards the wall,looking sad) Aai main kya bataaun tujhe?

She paused. Everyone was tensed now.

Aastha : (pretending to shed tears) Aai main kya bataaun ki meri kismat... (turning to face them) meri kismat kitni achhi hai!!

Aastha was smiling ear to ear. Everyone was confused. "Kahin yeh paagal toh nahi ho gayi?"

Avdhoot : Aastha beta, tum theek toh ho na?

Aastha : (laughing) Dara diya na?!! Lekin ab main aap sab ko ek Good News dena chahti hoon!!

"Good news?" Everyone looked at each other.

Aastha : Arey sab log yahan baahar kyun khade hain?!! Andar chaliye!

She forced everyone inside and went into the kitchen, leaving them in the hall wondering what was she up to. She came out with the jar of sugar and gave a spoonful of sugar to each of them saying...

Aastha : Leejiye! Pehele moonh meetha kijeeye!!

Kalindi : Aastha, pehele bata toh sahi ki hua kya hai?!

Aastha : Aai, Baba aur Ajju... Aapki laadli ko job mil gayi hai!! Tada!!!

Everyone was surprised but very happy for her. She narrated everything to all like she told to Shruti on he way home. Whatever happened, but in the end the Aastha was lucky to have got the job.

Aastha : Uss khadoos ne toh poori koshish ki thi ki mujhe job na miley!! Lekin pata hai, Rahul Sir bohot achhe hain! Unki wajah se hi mujhe yeh job mil paya! Aur sab se achhi baat hai ki Shruti ko bhi job mil gayi!! (Everyone was more happy) Aur mere saath ek ladka bhi hai...Akaash, bohot achha hai. Woh Mumbai se hai aur Pune mein apne Kaka-kaku ke saath rahega. Aur pata hai...

And Aastha went on and on, without a break. Though everyone was getting bored, they listened patiently.

Here, Shlok returned home annoyed and frustrated. His elder brother, Varad, observed him as Shlok went directly to his room. Varad sensed something was wrong. He glanced at his wife, Sojal.

Varad : Kya lagta hai?

Sojal : Ruko, main dekhti hoon.

Saying so, she went towards Shlok's room. The door was closed. She knocked...

Sojal : Shlok?!

There was no reply. She knocked again...

Sojal : Shlok main andar aa rahi hoon!!

She opened the door and went in to see Shlok sitting on the bed leaning backward with closed eyes. She was the only female in the world Shlok believed in. They both shared a very special bond of friendship. Shlok always suggested her on calling him "Shlok" and not "Shlok Bhavji". After Rahul, it was Sojal that Shlok spoke up to.

Sojal : Hmmm... Lagta hai aaj phir koi nayi ladki aayi hai...!!

Shlok : (eyes still closed) Haan... (opening his eyes) Lekin Vahini, tum kaise jaan leti ho humesha?

Sojal : (tapping on Shlok's head) Mere pyaare devar ko main nahi samajhungi toh kaun samjhega?? (Shlok smiled) Waise, naam kya hai?

Shlok : (anger in his eyes) Aastha Kirloskar!!

Sojal : (recalling) Arey! Yeh toh wohi ladki hai na jisse tum road pe takraaye thay?

Shlok : Unfortunately yes!! (correcting Sojal) Aur Vahini, main uss se takraya-wakraya nahi tha!!

Sojal : (teasing) Dikhne mein kaisi hai?!

Shlok : Vahini!! Tum bhi na!! All women are the same!! (in anger) Just like Swati!!

Varad entered...

Varad : (winking) OMG! Shlok kisi ladki ki baat kar raha hai?!! Sojal, zara dekho toh aaj sooraj kahan se nikla hai?

Sojal and Varad always enjoyed teasing Shlok; both were laughing. Just then they heard a cute voice...

Voice : Shun rises in the East...!! Teacher ne aaj hi bataya! Aap ko itna bhi nahi pata Baba?!!

Everyone was shocked. It was Varad and Sojal's 3 year old daughter, Kavya!! All looked at each other and burst into laughter, except Shlok. He was not at all in a mood to laugh. Kavya always feared Shlok. He too looked at Kavya as just another girl. She frowned looking at Shlok. Just then the door bell rang.

Varad : Aai-Baba honge... Main dekhta hoon!

Varad left to open the door. Kavya ran behind him.

Shlok : Vahini, tum bhi jaao neeche! Waise bhi mera tumse sab kuchh share karna Mrs. Agnihotri ko zyada pasand nahi hai!!

Vahini : (scolding) Shlok!! Kabhi toh apni Aai ke baare mein aadar se baat karo...!!

Shlok : (angry) Woh meri Aai nahi hai!!!

Varad opened the door to see Rahul standing in front.

Varad : Arey Rahul! Aao...!

Rahul : Namaskar Dada! How are you?

Varad : I am good!

Kavya came running and hugged Rahul's legs.

Rahul : (lifting her up) Arey Kavya beta, kaisi ho?

Kavya : (excited) Chalo, hum game khelte hain!!

Rahul : (keeping her down and making a sad face) Sorry Kavya! Aaj main tumhare Shlok Kaka se baat karne aaya hoon! Mujhse gussa hai na woh!

Kavya : (feeling very sad) Mujhse toh woh humesha gussa rehte hain!

Varad : (to change her moood) Chalo Kavya hum game khelte hain! (to Rahul) Shlok apne room mein hai!

Rahul nodded and went in.

Sojal : Tum dono baat karo, main chalti hoon!!

She left.

Rahul : Still angry with me?

Shlok : Not really, lekin koi aur nahi mili kya tumhein?

Rahul : Oh c'mon Shlok, she desrves it!

Shlok : (in anger) She deserves to be kicked out!!

Rahul : Don't say that Shlok... (purposely praising Aastha) She is smart, she is intelligent, she is beautiful, she is...

Shlok : (irriated) Arey toh shaadi hi kar lo uss say!!

Rahul : That's not a bad idea!!

Shlok : (not expecting that reply) What?!! Are you serious?

Rahul : (very serious) There's only one problem... buss Pooja kisi tarah maan jaaye!!

Saying so Rahul winked. Pooja was Rahul's childhood friend and they both were to get married in a year.

Shlok : (shaking his head) Baaton mein toh tumhein koi nahi hara sakta!!

Next day, Aastha woke up late. Avdhoot had bought sweets on Aastha getting the job.

Aastha : Aai! Main Sheetal Kaku ko batake aati hoon!!

Sheetal kaku was their neighbour who stayed with her husband Sudheer. Aastha went to meet them with the sweets. She rang the doorbell. And she was surprised to see the person who opened the door.

Aastha : Aakash tum?!

Aakash too was surprised to see Aastha. Sheetal and Sudheer were his Aunt and Uncle he had told about the day before. Aastha and Akaash were glad to meet again here which was unexpected.

Sheetal : Arey! Kya tum dono ek doosre ko jaante ho?

They told her everything. She was very happy for both.

Aastha and Shruti began their prepararions to join their dream job!! They had 5 days left. They went shopping. Aastha got her scooty serviced. She also introduced Shruti to Aakash. And both girls also took Aakash to various places of Pune he had not seen earlier. They enjoyed going to Sinhagad, Shaniwar Wada, Parvati... and enjoyed hanging out in Wadeshwar and Durga!!

Finally the day arrived. All three came there on their respective bikes. Akaash had suggested Aastha of going on one (his) bike, but Aastha wasn't comfortable with that. They reached the office and registered their arrival. Being the first day, they had reached a good 30 minutes early!! Shruti went to her department. The three decided to have lunch together.

Aastha wished Mansi "Good Morning" and began to leave the reception, when Mansi called her.

Mansi : Aastha, wait! Actually your interview was not taken by Shlok Sir on the day when others' was. So Shlok Sir's sign is not there on these papers.

Mansi handed a couple of papers to Aastha.

Mansi : You need to take his signatures on them, and you also need on to sign on the register with Shlok Sir.

Facing Shlok was a big problem for Aastha after their previous meetings. She was tensed.

Mansi : You please wait here. Once Shlok Sir comes, you can go to his cabin.

Aastha nodded with a forced smile and waited for Shlok to arrive. Aakash didn't understand why Aastha was so nervous.

Aakash : Why are you so nervous? Ek sign hi toh lena hai!!

Aastha : (in mind) Ab kya bataun tumhein? (to Aakash) Woh aaj pehela din hai na, hope everything goes well!!

Aakash : I know everything will go well!!

He too waited with her.

Shlok arrived. He parked his car and entered through the lobby. Aastha and Aakash stood up. Shlok threw an angry glance at Aastha as he passed by. Mansi wished him "Good Morning Sir" with a smile that faded away as he went past to his cabin without responding. "As usual!" Mansi thought.

After a few minutes, Mansi called Shlok up on the intercom to ask whether he was free for a moment. She then told Aastha to go in. Aastha just prayed to God and knocked the door of Shlok's cabin.

Aastha : (hesitating) May I come in Sir?
