Shreya Kalra recalls season’s biggest twists while addressing questions over her win: 'Tab logon ne...'

Lock Upp 2 winner Shreya Kalra has responded to viewers who questioned her victory and alleged that the reality show was biased. The social media influencer addressed the criticism during a recent question and answer session with fans.

A viewer asked Shreya about claims that she did not deserve to win and that the show was biased. Responding to the allegation, she questioned the criticism and said, "Aap bataiye, main nahi to kaun?"

Shreya then pointed to several developments during the season that, according to her, should also have attracted questions about the show’s fairness. She said, "Tab logon ne kyun nahi bola show biased hai jab logon ki re-entry hui, tab logon ne kyun nahi bola biased hai show jab unko secret room me rakha gaya."

She continued, "Tab logon ne kyun nahi bola jab mujhse advantage le kar kisi aur ko de di gayi, tab logon ne kyun nahi bola?" She concluded her response by saying, "Mic drop ho chuka hai doston."

Her comments come after host Farah Khan also addressed allegations that Lock Upp 2 was biased. In an interview with India Today, Farah responded to claims that she and Riteish Deshmukh favoured their friends on the show, including Ram Kapoor and Ssunita Ahuja.

Farah said that being emotionally involved with contestants was natural for her. She explained that she had already informed the makers that she would develop emotional connections with the participants because she follows reality television closely.

Addressing criticism that she was too lenient as a jailer, Farah said, "I have told the makers that I will get emotionally involved. I am an emotional person. Even as an audience member, this is my favourite genre. We all discuss these shows in our friend chat groups, and I do have opinions. If a story touches me, it affects me. If they wanted a strict jailer, they should have brought Kiran Bedi."

Farah also directly questioned Shreya about the claims of favouritism after her victory. She asked, "I want to ask you on record, Shreya, have we ever met before? Before I saw you on stage?"

Farah further explained that she only later learnt Shreya’s YouTube company and her own were managed by Qyuki. She said, "But I had no idea about this. So how was I biased?"

The responses from both Shreya and Farah have added another layer to the debate surrounding the season’s result.
