Additi has left us all tons of memories of our Dearest heeriye, and what good are memories if we don't relive them, right? so let's do that too. When it comes to heer and weddings .. It's a long story, not the wedding actually but heer as bride IS.

The funniest part of the whole thing is that even she could make a heart skip a beat in all bridal looks, even she cud leave many of her fans fainting and staring and what not. But the lady herself is not very fond of wearing all heavy bridal wear and heavy jewellery. During heer's wedding with Rishab Rampal, There was a SBS segment where additi expressed her feelings that she is very tired of wearing all heavy clothes and jewellery from many days. Actually words are not enough to describe her frustration so lets have additi ki kahani additi ki zubani.

And again when it comes to pihu, It irritated Additi a lot to wear a heavy costume for Pihu's wedding, she was asked to wear such a heavy costume which was a terrible problem for her to carry it. But as the scene demanded, she had done with that costume. In one of the article she shared her frustration saying "It was horrible to wear such a heavy costume and extension to hair, I was totally irritated as the track was going on for past two days. it was really very unmanageable to handle the costume for whole day". There was sbs segment too telling about additi ki pareshani.

Additi is from Bhopal. She was doing her second year in fashion designing at Symbiosis University. Acting was never on Additi's mind as a career option. But things took a turn and she was chosen to play the main lead of Balaji's 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil', after auditioning for it in Pune. Additi have taken a year's break from her studies. She would like to move further in this industry, but she will also continue with her studies as and when time permits. Additi's name wasn't spelled Additi, but Aditi. Due to Ekta's belief in numerology, an extra 'D' was added to her name.

~~ Journey So Far ~~

Additi Gupta first stole our hearts with her beautiful portrayal of Heer from Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil. Merely 19 years and with her first acting offer, Additi managed to pull off the character of heer with such beauty and simplicity.

Heer, Ranjha ki Heer, the word itself represents true love, purity and innocence. As Prem's Heer in KDMHMD, Additi became a Heer. A blind lover seeking for true love, proving that no matter the distance, no matter the obstacle, true love will succeed. As the loving elder daughter of Balraj Maan and Teji Maan, she always stood by her parents. & as the protective sister of Meher Maan, she became Meher's parent with the death of Balraj & Teji Maan.

With KDMDMD gaining more popularity, Star Plus also, began to strongly promote the show and its leads Harshad Chopra & Additi Gupta, who gave numerous special performances and appearances throughout the show's run. Heer and Prem became the beloved jodi of Star Plus winning the Best Jodi Award in SPA2009 & Favourite Yogya Jodi in SPA2008. Additi's portrayal of Heer won her many accolades, garnering many fans all around the world.

Although KDMDMD ended its run in February 2010, the story of Prem & Heer continued to live amongst the hearts of their fans, remaining as one of the best on-screen jodi in TV history.

For additi, after Heer and a short break, she came back with a bang on Star Plus Zara Nachke Dikha, a dance reality show based on the concept of battle of the sexes. In Zara Nachke Dikha, Additi Gupta was given the opportunity to be herself, breaking away from Heer. Her friendly nature, and bubbly personality attracted many, winning more fans and friends along the way. With her humour and fun factor, Additi managed to bring much more to Zara Nachke Dikha and all her fans.

Special mention to her gorgeous looks, awesome outfits, spell-binding smile and feisty persona, which not only garnered tons of attention and appreciation but also left her fans in awe, including people *fainting*. Although not a trained dancer, Additi had put lots of hard work and tried her level best, and her dance performances during her stint in ZND were well received by her fans and judges. Unfortunately, her dancing stint was short-lived as Additi was tagged in week 7 and there after eliminated from the show in week 8. Nonetheless, Additi left the show with her pride and dignity held up high and with the countless support and encouragement from her fans.
