Honestly in our profession, the day we are not shooting is a Sunday. So all depends on when we pack up the previous night.
First thing you do on a Sunday morning?
Watch TV, check which movies are listed for the day.
What's your regular Sunday routine?
Just be around in the house like a lazy human (smiles), pampering myself, going shopping and at times spending time with family.
But the funny part is that whenever I'm at home I keep myself glued to the TV, watching movies. My parents don't even get the feel of the remote and get annoyed, and by the end of the day they themselves force me to go out of the house (laughs).
What includes your Sunday Brunch?
Recently I have started liking the entire idea of eating; I have quick bites at regular intervals. With this habit, I'm gaining a lot of weight, but resisting the sight of food is just next to impossible these days (smiles).
Do you plan your own Sundays or just follow what you have been told to?
Till date I have never planned anything in my life, not even my career prospects. The other side of the coin is that whenever I plan things, something or the other goes wrong and it doesn't work out.
Do you wish there were two Sundays in a week?
Yes why not, two offs in a week means double relaxation, double shopping and that is a very important activity in a girl's life.
What's your dream way of spending a Sunday?
I have never been to Goa till date. So my dream Sunday would be to spend 2-3 days in Goa and just relax with no tension.
If not Sunday what would you rename that day of the week?
(smiles) I think I would aptly rename it as Shopping Day or Self Pampering Day.
What's more exciting for you, Sunday or Saturday night's?
I'm not a party person, so at times looking at my routine my friends push me to party with them, so for me it's a mix of both.
Which other day of the week is equally exciting to you as a Sunday?
I can tell you the most boring day (smiles). When I was in school I never liked waking up early in the morning, going to school and I believe that was the case with many of us. So I think for me all the days are just perfect or equivalent to a Sunday, if I have nothing to do.
What's your take on going for dinner on Sundays after waiting in a long queue?
First option, I won't go or else I would make a prior reservation. But personally I would love to have ghar ka Khana and specially Aloo ka Paratha, I love it a lot these days.
Do you dedicate your Sunday for someone special?
I don't have any one special as of now.
Memorable Sunday you had?
Hmm…in our childhood every Sunday we used to have a Dal- Baati session, it's a special malwa dish. We used to have light breakfast and then for lunch have lots of Dal Baati with family; it used to get so heavy that we used to just fall into bed and not wake up before 6-7 in the evening. After getting up, we used to watch TV, have a meal for dinner and then sleep off. It used to be so amazing, just eat and sleep the entire day.
The craziest thing you would want to do on a Sunday morning?
Normally after a stressful week, people prefer not waking up early. So on a Sunday morning I would want to go and ring the door bell of the people whom I don't like, that too at 5 in the morning and run away (laughs).
If Sunday didn't exist, then what would you do?
I think if we never had a Sunday we wouldn't have missed it that much. But now we have got so used to it that we have become spoilt brats and crave for a leave even on Saturdays.
