As for Alia: I never read about another actress Gauri Shinde would have had in mind.

To me, Alia was perfect...an adult woman with a serious profession but totally insecure on an emotional level and quite ambiguous in her love-relations (also in the ones with her family). She emanated what she really was: an imature woman, still quite childlike, having to learn to not lie to herself to fit into a certain image...

Alia should have learned from that movie...she did not...missed opportunity, I would say.

Well, I have not seen this movie yet. Agar DP hoti movie mein to Jug-Kiara ki love story jarur hoti with songs. But yeah, DP or Kriti would have better for this role. Alia to teen ager lag rahi thi.
