Britney Spears 'barked, yelled and pointed knife' at people in restaurant, team responds

Singer Britney Spears has once again found herself at the centre of public attention after reports claimed she behaved unusually during a restaurant outing in Los Angeles. According to reports published by TMZ, the singer allegedly raised her voice, screamed and barked while dining at a restaurant in Sherman Oaks with a man and a woman.

The situation was reportedly described by witnesses as “chaotic.” One restaurant guest allegedly claimed Britney walked past tables while holding a knife, creating concern among diners. However, reports also suggested the singer may have simply continued holding the knife after using it to cut food during the meal.

Another report claimed Britney lit a cigarette inside the restaurant, leading staff members to intervene. Witnesses further alleged that the singer repeatedly told the man accompanying her, “I love you.” One source also claimed, “The man she was with were feeding each other.” However, the exact context of the interaction remains unclear.

TMZ additionally reported that photos from the table showed crumpled menus and a messy area around where the singer had been seated. One guest allegedly compared the condition under the table to it looking like a “toddler had been there.” Reports further claimed Britney was eventually escorted home by her security staff after the outing.

Amid the growing online discussion, Britney Spears’ representative strongly denied the allegations while speaking to US Weekly. Reacting to the reports, the representative said, “This is completely blown out of proportion. Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard.”

The representative also clarified that Britney had been speaking about her dog barking at neighbours, which may have been misunderstood by people around her. Addressing the knife related claims, the representative added that the singer “did not put anyone in danger with a knife,” and was only using it to cut her hamburger.

The statement also criticised the continued scrutiny around Britney’s public life. Her representative said, “This constant attack on everything that she does and this is exactly what happened 20 years ago when the media tried to depict Britney as a bad person. This is ridiculous, and it needs to stop now.”
