Aditi Rao Hydari’s Cannes diary begins with casual fashion, fittings and hotel room glimpses

Actor Aditi Rao Hydari shared glimpses from her hotel room ahead of her Cannes Film Festival appearance, giving followers a look at what she described as the “calm” before stepping onto the international stage. The actor posted a series of pictures on Instagram on Thursday as India’s presence at Cannes continued to remain part of online conversations.

Aditi is attending the festival this year as a representative of L'Oréal Paris. Her update also arrived around the same time Alia Bhatt concluded her Cannes appearances after multiple fashion outings and public events at the festival.

In the photos shared online, Aditi was seen posing inside her hotel room while getting ready for the upcoming events. The pictures showed her having a meal, applying lipstick and attending outfit fittings before her scheduled appearances. Sharing the post on Instagram, the actor captioned it, “The calm before we Cannes (sic).”

For the relaxed indoor look, Aditi chose an olive tank top paired with embellished jeans and a matching overcoat. She completed the appearance with gold accessories while keeping her hair open and makeup minimal. The styling quickly drew reactions online, with several users appreciating the actor’s understated fashion choice before the main red carpet appearances begin.

Celebrity photographer Manav Manglani also shared visuals of Aditi leaving Mumbai airport ahead of her journey to the French Riviera. The airport clips later circulated across social media platforms as fans awaited her Cannes debut this year.

Earlier, speaking about representing the beauty brand at Cannes, Aditi had said, “I am honoured to represent L'Oreal Paris at the Festival de Cannes. For me, true beauty lies in embracing who you are unapologetically and owning your individuality with confidence.”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt recently wrapped up her Cannes engagements after attending several events in different looks, including a lavender gown, an ivory saree inspired ensemble and a peach toned outfit for her red carpet appearance. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is expected to attend the festival next.
