Trisha Krishnan’s alleged Rs 12 crore film deal sparks political buzz around rivals Vijay & Udhayanidhi Stalin

Actor Trisha Krishnan has become the centre of fresh industry discussion after reports claimed she may be offered a film project worth nearly Rs 12 crore. According to ongoing speculation, the project is allegedly linked to politician and producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, which has further intensified conversations online because of his political rivalry with actor turned politician Vijay.

Several reports circulating on social media and entertainment portals claim Trisha is being considered for a major upcoming project and could reportedly receive one of the biggest pay cheques of her career. However, neither the actress nor the alleged makers have confirmed the reports so far.

The rumours gained wider traction because Trisha’s name has frequently been linked with Vijay in recent months. Their public appearances together and ongoing dating rumours have continued to remain a talking point among fans and online communities, despite no official confirmation from either side.

The alleged involvement of Udhayanidhi Stalin has added a political angle to the discussion. Udhayanidhi, who is a prominent DMK leader and son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, has often been viewed as a political rival to Vijay after the actor launched his political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. Following the success of films like Ponniyin Selvan and Leo, reports suggest the actor currently commands fees between Rs 10 crore and Rs 12 crore per project. Meanwhile, Trisha is also preparing for the release of Karuppu, where she stars opposite Suriya. The film is directed by RJ Balaji and is expected to release in Tamil and Telugu languages.
