Alia was kinda good tho? She was believable as someone who was considerably younger than Jehangir and had a case of transference with him. Her baby face worked for that role. SRK and her really looked mismatched — as was the point of the film

Also the tweet being framed in a way to bodyshame Alia, what cringe.

I truly blame Karan Johar for the decline in Bollywood and this woman-child up there is a large reason why.

Alia was at the perfect age for the role.

Saying it from my personal experience. The girl I know was going through the same emotions between the age of 24 - 27. ( she had multiple failed relationship in high-school and in undergrad school). she worked for 3 yrs after undergrad and then left the job due to her issues.

She came out of the depression around when she was 28 and now she is happy and will be settling down soon.

Kat would have been too old for the role. ( she would have been perfect if she was same age as in Mere brother ki Dulhan)

And why do people always want to convert such an important issue into a cheap romantic tale..??

Both Katrina and Deepika would have been too old for the role....

Alia was a perfect fit and did an awesome job.

But of course according to some Alia is a misfit everywhere...
