Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2: Rio begins doubting Karan’s truth about Ansh’s death

The episode opens with Karan receiving a phone call from Tulsi. She is sitting quietly with Ansh’s photograph in her hands and appears deeply disturbed. Karan immediately notices her silence and repeatedly asks what has happened. Tulsi first informs him about the happier developments at Shantiniketan. She shares that Pari has finally agreed to marry Aryan and also reveals that Saloni and Munni are pregnant. Hearing this, Karan becomes emotional and says the family finally has reasons to celebrate after facing so many problems together.

Despite the positive updates, Karan senses that Tulsi is still upset. He gently asks her what is troubling her so much. Tulsi then mentions the date and suddenly recalls that it was on 13th May when she had shot Ansh. The painful memory leaves her shattered, and she begins crying on the call. Karan tries to calm her down and asks her not to blame herself again for the tragedy. Tulsi says she wants to visit a temple, feed people in Ansh’s memory and pray for peace. She also asks Karan to visit an orphanage and donate in Ansh’s name.

Meanwhile, Niyati enters the room and overhears part of the conversation. Confused, she asks Karan who died. Karan quickly changes the topic and tells her that it is his grandfather’s death anniversary. He casually asks her to make tea and avoids discussing the matter further. After Niyati leaves, Karan privately tells Rio that it is actually the death anniversary of Ansh, Rio’s biological father. Rio quietly absorbs the information while continuing to process the truth about his family and his father’s past.

At Shantiniketan, the atmosphere remains cheerful as family members gather together and discuss Saloni and Munni’s pregnancies. Everyone spends time laughing, teasing one another and playing cards together. The scenes offer temporary relief from the emotional tension unfolding elsewhere in the story.

Rio questions Ansh’s death while Ajay distances himself

Elsewhere, Ajay’s mother receives the invitation for Pari and Aryan’s wedding. She asks Ajay to attend the ceremony and move forward peacefully in life. However, Ajay refuses and says he does not wish to create more complications in Pari’s life anymore. His mother admits that the family made mistakes in the past and says they now regret hurting Pari. Ajay quietly listens before asking his parents to let Pari move on without interference.

Ajay’s father then asks whether he should speak to Pari once before the marriage takes place, but Ajay walks away without giving a proper answer. The moment reflects his emotional struggle despite trying to distance himself from Pari’s life.

Back at home, Rio and Niyati discuss the charity work planned for Karan’s supposed grandfather’s death anniversary. Niyati assures Rio that all arrangements for the rituals have been completed smoothly. However, Rio remains distracted by thoughts about Ansh. He asks Niyati whether she remembers a plane crash from 2003. Niyati appears confused and questions why he suddenly wants information about an incident from more than two decades ago. She says such details could easily be found online or through old news reports. Rio silently agrees but continues thinking deeply, clearly trying to connect missing pieces regarding his father’s death.

Aryan overhears Pari’s emotional meeting with Ajay

On another side, Pari and Aryan discuss their wedding preparations. However, Pari appears emotionally distant and asks Aryan to make most of the decisions himself. During their conversation, Pari receives a call from Ajay and immediately walks away to answer it privately.

Ajay congratulates Pari on her wedding and says he hopes she will remain happy with Aryan. Pari tells him he also needs to move forward in life. After a brief silence, Ajay requests one final meeting before her marriage. Though hesitant initially, Pari eventually agrees. Unknown to them, Aryan overhears the conversation.

Later, when Pari meets Ajay, he asks her to reconsider their relationship. However, Pari refuses and says she cannot hurt Aryan after everything he has done for her. She emotionally admits that Ajay will always remain an important part of her life and one of her most precious memories. Still, she insists that they cannot be together anymore and asks him to accept fate. Pari breaks down crying as Ajay watches her silently from close distance.
