Actor Tara Sutaria made her Cannes Film Festival 2026 red carpet debut in an ivory corset gown designed by Vivienne Westwood. The actor’s appearance from the French Riviera quickly became part of online fashion conversations, although official red carpet photographs from the event are yet to be released publicly.

Details about Tara’s outfit surfaced through fashion commentary pages online. According to posts shared by Diet Sabya, the actor chose a structured ivory corset gown by the luxury fashion label for her first Cannes red carpet appearance. She paired the outfit with statement white and green jewellery pieces that added contrast to the monochrome styling.

A video circulating online showed Tara posing inside her hotel room before heading to the red carpet event. The visuals captured glimpses of the gown and accessories while fans waited for official photographs from the festival appearance. Several social media users discussed the styling choices, particularly the vintage inspired silhouette and jewellery combination.

Earlier this week, Tara had already shared pictures from the French Riviera while announcing her arrival at Cannes. Posting photographs from her first day at the festival, she wrote, “Thrilled to be invited to Festival de Cannes and to be honoured at the Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema Gala. The actor’s Cannes debut comes during a year when several Indian celebrities are attending the international film festival. Names including Alia Bhatt and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have also remained in focus because of their appearances at the event.

On the work front, Tara was last seen in Apurva, released in 2023. The film also featured Abhishek Banerjee, Dhairya Karwa and Rajpal Yadav in important roles.

She will next appear in Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups alongside Yash. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film also stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara and Huma Qureshi. The official release date of the film is yet to be announced.
