I think she's miscast in all her movies but yeah, Dear Zindagi did not suit her.

Parineeti would have been a more natural choice. Conflicted characters with rising turmoil suit her well.

I don't think alia connected with the character in the movie. I think dp should've did this film since it was about mental health. But I know kat was the original choice for this film, not sure why director thought kat was the first choice since kat is good at romantic comedy movie, I thought she was the wrong choice for this film since she can't show emotions well so if I had to choose between kat or alia for dz than alia but alia was a miscast for dz. Alia does not know how to cry well on screen and she even knows that.

When alia's sisters was talking about mental health, she never understood what they were going through which I thought alia was the wrong choice for this movie. She is not a good actress to make the character believable.

No, she was believable to me.

I thought she was fab in the movie.She looked cute and acted very well.

Yeah she was miscast. A matured actress could have done a better job. I couldn't connect to her character & acting.

But then we would’ve missed this epic meme. 🤣
