All her other female leads are from lower middle class, without proper education and in need of money to support themselves, either orphans or the family doesn't want to help them. Same old formula and all her such female leads end up taking up a job that involves wedding planning, event planning or cooking.

But all her female leads are exceptional when it comes to detective work though. With education or without. They know how technology works very well and they know almost everything there is to know. I sometimes wonder how these things work.

Oh God you guys have sooo bad experiences with Gul shows.... No wonder you guys fears that here in this show. Can totally understand now ✋ Actually I have watched only Zoya (Only one Gul show) that's why I am often very cool about any track in this show 😆

When I think of a waitress who made it big

I wish Ishqi's career was more focused on like FL in KRPKAB but that's too much to ask for in ITV 😊

In IPKKND, Khushi works for the male lead (Arnav) and later his sister and is insulted by the male lead on a regular basis cuz he is unsettled by his attraction to her and on a certain level he dislikes/ mistrusts her.

Yes, it’s a common theme.. they guy is well to do/ extremely rich and the girl is middle class. I didn’t follow ishqbaaz much but I think it’s similar in that sense.

I used to watch QH too but later stopped as the story when haywire after a while😆

The original IPKKND was the best IMO as it ended timely. Else don’t know just to strech it, it would have got spoilt!!

Actually you have a very valid point.gul herself is a working women so why does her FL all dont have a job or not career minded.all they can think of is marriage housewife and kids.i wish she change her mindset and show a women can do wonders if she puts her mind and soul to it.

Yes and the recent QH 2.0 webseries zoya is shown to be a book writer so she has career but none other than her actually had a job.gul shown to be a women who doesnt like to show her leads as career oriented being a women herself.i cant understand why

Traumatized is the word actually....her shows have the best chemistry whether it was arnav khushi zoya asad or shivaay anika but her storyline ruins every thing instead of loving it more.i watched 3 of her shows thats why for me its like very upsetting with her approach towards the storyline... ahaan and ishqi have very good chemistry but gul ruined things when she doesnt know how to bring the story foward.this show didnt need to have leap insteadthey could exposed mayank and make ahaan realise what happened between mayank and sonu and also investigate what happen with his parents and is dadi the culprit of his parents separation along the same time realise his equation with ishqi

I want to see exactly what you have mentioned above...but precap is something else...let's wait

It would be nice if Ishqi had a better established career considering that the career angle is supposed to be one of the main points of the story.

But from the start of the show, Ishqi has been shown to do some odd jobs. She started off being Sarla's assistant, then got a job in what seemed like a nice company but lost that job due to Ahaan's police complaint, and she goes back to working for Sarla. She eventually talks to that company and gets her job back and it seemed to be some chips-tasting job. She hardly worked there before leaving for her wedding.

Now it looks like she'll work as a waitress or something next. I guess she loses her previous job. But I'm glad she isn't back to working for Sarla. Atleast she is not dependent on any of these people and working on her own. I'm assuming it's supposed to be a temporary job she took on till she can find something better. Financially, she probably doesn't have the luxury to wait around till she gets some nice job.
