SUPPOSED-TO-BE-ONE-NIGHT-STAND.
PART-1
Minni sat down at the counter of a pub ordering her drink to get some relief after a long and tiring day, it was a mainly a hotel with pub and bar at its basement, but it was the nearest pub she could find. She oftenly never prefers pub and parties but today all that she needs is an escape route for some hours to survive her harsh reality. Her mom ,Babita, has to get brain surgery tomorrow, every doctor they went to sent them to one after the other. In the end, they were sent to one of the best surgeons ever - Dr. OBEROI.
She looked up and across from her was a man wearing a dark suit that fits perfectly, accentuating his broad chest. He catched her staring and Minni quickly looked down. She looked back and he was gone. "Thank goodness." She thought as she let out a breath. Before she knew it there was a light tapping on her shoulder. She turned around to see the guy who was just sitting on the other side of the counter. He stands tall, towering over her, his body well sculpted, his hands seemed capable of many things. His jawline strong and sharp. His lips thick and full. Eyes mesmerising, sweet and dangerous at the same time. His shoulderlength brown hair of perfectly untamed curls. His smiles that can make anyone sworn for him and his teeth were perfect - straight and white.
Minni took in his presence, safe yet threatening at the same time.HE IS SO ELEGANT. SO MESMERISING. SO HANDSOME.
"Is this seat taken?" he asked, his voice low and smooth as silk, with a tinge of huskiness.Minni was shocked. "Why is he talking to me?", she thought.
"Y-yes." The words stumbled out of her mouth. He looked at her, disappointment taking over his expression. "No, I mean no." She quickly said realizing what she just replied to his question. He smiled and sat in the empty stool next to me. "Why is he sitting next to me? ",strike her .A thousand questions flooded her mind. They are all wiped out when he spoke again. "Do you come here often?"
Typical. She thought a guy like him would have better pick up lines.
Before she knew it her thoughts slipped out of her mouth.
He laughed and it's genuine. "A guy like me?" He asked "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing," she mumbled, looking back down at the menu in front of her.
"No, you already said it, tell me what that means."
Minni took a breath before saying what She thought the minute she laid eyes on him. "I just thought someone with your looks and figure would have better pick up lines."
"So you're calling me hot?" He asked with a smirk on his face.
"This probably isn't in your manner, but I was calling you fine."
" manner?" he chuckled. "I used the word fine. I would call you fine, but I think elegant suits you better."
"Your cute if you think I would fall for that."
"Fall for what?"
"Your little 'you're ELEGANT' thing. Flirt kar rahi ho? ā, he smirked.
"It's not a thing, just stating the obvious."
She smiled and looked back down at the table. "Can I buy you a drink?" he asked.
"Sure"
He smiled at her innocence. Probably she don't even know what different sort of meanings does a drink have here in such pubs.
"What would you like?"
She didn't know what came over her. She touched the side of his neck and tug on his tie pulling him closer to her. "What if I say that want it on a beach . So Better luck next time handsome '," she whispered seductively into his ear. She bit her lip as she released him from her grip.
Where the f**k did that boldness come from?
For a moment he remained stunned figuring out what she actually meant by āI want it' ? Does she really meant what he was thinking. Is she actually such innocent or just befooling around or was their conversation actually restricted to drinks and just he is the one thinking beyond the boundaries.
"The drink or the actual one, because I can do both."
Minni giggled and hopped down. "Surprise me."
"Where are you going?"
"The ladies room."
She walked to the bathroom and looked into the mirror splashing water on her face to wake herself up from the effect of alcohol. This is not a dream.
This is real. She looked into the mirror. "What would someone as good looking as him want with me? ",she thought.
Come on Minni you are no less..you can handle it all. She gathered herself and left the washroom.
When she got out he was standing right
there at the door. He smiled and she smiled back. "It's not the beach, but I got us a room."
Minni's smile widened. "So no drink?"
"Drinks are in the room."
His hand touched the small of her back as he guided her out the bar and toward the mirrored elevator doors in the hotel's lobby, sending tiny shivers down her spine. Mini've had drinks here a few times, but I have never actually seen one of the hotel rooms.
"What's your name?"
"No names," Minni said quickly.
His dark eyebrows shoot up. "Really?
You don't want to know mine?"
"None. I don't need to know your name."
He studied her for a few beats before replying with a brief nod.
