1. Okay that picture of Aryan and Amaya is SO adorable. I just want to squish them!

2. I love how they call each other Mr. and Mrs. Raizada

3. I've always loved how even in their arguments, they want to make their significant other happy. They really, genuinely want success for each other, and it makes them happy to see their partner happy.

4. ARYAN IS JUST SO CUTE. Okay sorry. But really! He's adorable and I can totally picture him and I have this little image in my mind.

5. Arnav and Khushi as parents- I don't think I've ever read anyone else do this so well. They're... real. It's not some contrived conversation over how happy their kids make them, you can really see how happy Aryan and Amaya make Arnav and Khushi.

6. I just have this picture of matching Aryan and Arnav 😆

7. I really like the subtle way you show them as a couple in addition to parents- like how Arnav comments on how nice she looks in those workout clothes.

8. LOLOL. Prince of Killing Romance. 😆

9. Their conversation at the park is so natural- I won't hesitate to admit that I've always been extremely envious of how easily you write them just... talking. Not even about anything important, they just sit and talk, and that, for me, is the hardest thing to write.

Which is ironic, given how much I talk, you would think I would know what to write in a conversation, but I never do- and that's something you're so good at and I am not embarrassed to admit that I am very jealous of you for it 😆

10. The way Khushi tells him about her pregnancies- the first time is so sweet and adorable, and the second time is just straight up hilarious 😆 I can just see this happening.

11. Aryan's little thing about his Mumma 😆 And his what the! Cho sweet! I just want to pinch his little cheeks and squish him forever.

12. Awwwh, their dancing is so cute! And again, I like how you have Arnav and Khushi's little romance on the side too 😉 Khushi's saucy statements!

13. Again- I love this conversation because they want the best for each other. They support each other in everything, through everything- and you write this out so well.

14. The way he says she's beautiful is just so honest. No pretenses, nothing- just in that moment, he tells her she's beautiful. It's such a nice way to give a compliment.

15. Oh my god. I love this sex scene! So seductive, playful- and so very them. I can practically see Arnav's eyes widening in appreciation when Khushi drops her robe. This is just- goddamn, you rock. (heh. Get it? Cause Aryan likes rock- okay I'll stop. That wasn't funny.)

16. The ending scene is the perfect way to end this story. You know, Khushi in this scene reminds me of my own mother. She'll sometimes come in late at night and just sit by me, give me a kiss, and then go back to sleep- sometimes I'll wake up, so I know. It's one of my favorite moments, and I really, really love this scene.

17. Mini Jigs! You rock, you're SO awesome- that's such a perfect wedding card! I love the background, I love the font- and the pictures (thank you for not using that god forsaken pink and green).

Wow. I can't believe this story is over. I just... I'm so damn proud of you, and I love you so much.

You don't have to thank me- I should thank you, for letting me be a part of this. It was a pleasure to be your editor, to be your sounding board, to talk to you at 1 AM for five hours (I still can't believe we did that!), and to become so much closer to you. I genuinely love leaving you comments just to see your reaction to them- to bring a smile to your face (I'll try not to make you cry, or Mr. J will really come over and smack me 😆).

You excel at making your readers feel a part of the story- whether it be teasers, just answering random questions, or giving surprise updates... you know how to make people happy, how to make them feel a part of something. And I think, that's the charm of this story- it's you!

And you enjoy it too- seeing how happy you are when you get the comments, getting excited texts from you, everything. You've enjoyed writing it, and that makes us enjoy reading it.

I'll miss this story so much- it's special to me, in so many ways. Thank you thank you thank you for finally writing something- and for letting me be a part of it.

If and when you write again, I'll be there, whether you like it or not. You're stuck with me, hamesha.

Oh, and one last thing:

😆

Love always, hamesha,

Your little sister, R.

Res for my Jigs
*******************

"I can feel no sentiment of approbation inferior to love."

Jane Austen

As I was reading the epilogue, I was overwhelmed with a multitude of emotions ...

Pride at my dear friend completing her first foray into writing.

Humbled at the beauty of the emotions she portrayed.

Awed by the commitment she displayed at each point of this journey - quite literally through sickness and health!

Admiration for the manner in which she included all of us in her journey. For her, her readers were genuinely an integral part of Stripped.

Love for the Arnav and Khushi she wrote, a true meeting of minds, there for each other and with each other hamesha.

Blushed at the incredible meetha sessions her protagonists have indulged in - my lexicon has been very interestingly added to!

Amazed at her ability to find the perfect gif or picture to fit each and every situation, each and every time.

Uplifted by her sheer positive outlook of life, sure things happen that are unpleasant but it's how you deal with them that shows your strength of character. And that was shown at every juncture. Above all in Khushi's handling of Sameer when he confronted her in her apartment. Epitomising grace under fire".

Moved to tears reading of the relationship Khushi shares with her parents. The inclusive love which embraced Arnav in it's fold.

Jigs, the manner in which you've handled each and every relationship in this story has been exemplary. And I do mean each and every one. They've all been explored and developed in a very real manner throughout the story, be it the one between Arnav and Khushi at one end or between Khushi and Mohan at the other. Khushi's clarity of thought has always been something you've written of brilliantly. Her reflections and questions to herself have always given the reader much to think about. Arnav's determination to win over his Khushi has been a joy to read. The manner in which he wooed her was just so perfect. I'm still starry eyed thinking of it. Respect has always the cornerstone of their relationship - so wonderfully displayed in Arnav's insistence in having her as joint COO. He continues to be her biggest champion. Such a heartwarming sight.

And look where they are now - could the kids get any cuter?! I love love love them. The happiness of the family fairly leaps off the pages. Those pages which I'll miss desperately :( The ease with which you write them is a joy to read. They're exuberant, smart, loving. Apne parents ki parchai :)

Our princess is as talented as her Mom ❤️ A beautiful invite for what promises to be a beautiful Shaadi.

Thank you to all the Strippedeans for all the fun we've had here! Special readers for a special story :)

And Jigs, my darling, it has been my privilege and delight to be your second eye. I've always waited eagerly to see what you've written and then pored over it, beguiled by your words. But always more so by the person writing those words. To paraphrase you, "My heart and soul, both felt it..."

Love you more, hamesha ❤️

At the end of this journey...

What is this feeling?
That we are feeling
Our minds are reeling
Our hearts are dancing
Oh! What is this feeling?

An epilogue so revealing
The intensity is mind boggling
If the narration is appealing
Then the content is healing
Oh! What a beautiful feeling!

This chapter is like a gentle stream flowing
The conversation is comforting
The metha session is steaming
The pregnancy revealing is cracking
Oh! What a joyful feeling!

The children are beautiful and adoring
The family's unity is sealing
It is beautiful and heartwarming
To see this family bonding
Oh! What a wonderful feeling!

Aryan is another Arnav in making
His antics are cute and endearing
Amaya is a true princess being
With her father's eyes she is going to be dazzling
Oh! What a cozy feeling!

Arnav without a doubt gives meaning
He makes all of us dreaming
Just being himself he is killing
We are all dead and floating
Oh! What a tingling feeling!

Khushi is surely leading
She is the beacon that's gleaming
A girl who had embraced living
Who forged a path without yielding
Oh! What an empowering feeling!

Jigs you are an absolute darling
Your narration is a melodious singing
Your commitment needs applauding
Your cliffhangers are mindboggling
Oh! What a humbling feeling!

Jigs your daughter too needs acknowledging
Her artistic skills are astonishing
A is a darling and an angel and captivating
This invitation is our adducing
Oh! What an enchanting feeling!

This journey is really amazing
We can't believe it is completing
What are we going to be doing?
Every week with no updates upcoming
Oh! What a desolated feeling!

Writerji we are gracefully accepting
The invitation to regroup and partying
All Strippdeans are screaming
Do you hear it?, 'we are all coming'
Oh! What an inviting feeling!

Someone...
Somewhere...
is made for you.

Kitne hi door door hon hum donon ke raaste
Mil jaate hain jo bane ek duje ke vaaste..
Ek duje ke vaaste

Stripped - A word, the story has become so close to my heart in such a short span of time. When I started the journey of Stripped, I never once thought that it will have such a profound effect on my life.

Indeed how beautiful the boat of life will be if the oar is made of love.

True love gives rise to care, respect, trust, sharing, honesty, hard work, co-operation and submission and this love is not just limited between a woman and man or a husband and wife, this love extends beyond that, the love shared between parents and children, loved between siblings, extended families, friends, employees and the whole world in general.

True love never gives rise to selfishness or jealousy.

Its this same love which made Arnav and Khushi work hard to achieve their career goals and the respect which came with this love, made Arnav make Khushi the Co-CEO of AR.

All the relationships in this story have their own special places in this amazing journey, either be it Khushi's love towards her parents or Arnav's love towards his Di and his extended family, or Khushi and Akash's brother-sister bonding and finally the bonding shared with the kids, each and everyone of them is indeed so pleasant and so nice.

Here I have to mention Sameer (sorry for bringing him here). I remember Sameer even poked fun at Khushi for her extreme closeness to her parents, but that shows how selfish a person he is. He only cares for himself and no one else. If there was love in his heart, he never would have done those things in his life.

Thank you Jigs for writing this story and spreading around love everywhere. The biggest happiness comes from spreading love and Jigs, you have done exactly that.

We all might not have the perfect story like Arnav and Khushi here, but with whatever we have, we can still be happy when we value the love we get, the love we can share unconditionally and recognise the love all around us.

Today, only this story is coming to an end and not the journey of love. As I continue this eternal journey of love, I am taking with me so many fond memories of Stripped along with me.

First I am so glad I came to know of some one called Jigs who is so amazing and who has made a special place in my heart.
Secondly I am glad I met so many amazing people on this thread and who have become such close friends to me in such short span of time.
And finally the I am taking along with me the greatest gift of life i.e love, which I will cherish for my entire life.

Thank you everyone for making this journey so memorable. I would not like to say Good Bye here, because good byes makes me sad and tearful and it feels like all this is coming to an end. Instead lets continue this journey and spread love all around.

A song dedicated to my Strippedean friends :

Chalte Chalte Mere Ye Geet Yaad Rakhna
Kabhi Alwida Na Kehna
Rote Hanste Bas Yoon Hi Tum Gungunate Rehna
Kabhi Alwida Na Kehna

PS: Loved the pic of Aryan and Amaya. I just want to squeeze them tight and hug and kiss them.
PPS: The meetha session was just out of this world!!!

me too res
**************************

"Paagal", that was the word I used to tell my Arnavji, when ever a new movie is getting released. He has this routine of watching all the prequels all through night and day, all the way up to the premier showtime. When ever I questioned him, he always has this simple response "Piyo tho jaano", which reminded me more of the chai ad rather than providing any logical explanation.

I am glad to admit that - maine piya, maine jaana aur main paagal bhi ho gayi😊. I guess my constant state of anticipation, failed me to realize many magical moments, the first time around. But, reading through all the chapters again, made me realize that the anticipation factor may go down a bit with the reruns, but the joy factor actually doubles. What a joy and wonder it was to discover all the hidden magical moments weaved in the story with all those words and all those characters.

To my fellow Strippedeans, you all have the magic of a special kind and really make it complete for me. Firstly, I think you all deserve a big pat on your backs👏 for making Jigs realize her true potential. As for me, all your enthusiasm, inspiration, motivation and huge loads of creativity from all of you turned this journey into a memory of a lifetime and to build on Khushi's own words, you all gave me a "A world of my own".

As for the story, an epilogue always makes the wheel go full circle but as usual the word magic did not change. It's still comforting to see that the texting did not lose the sheen, the defining moments fit the definition of "defining" perfectly, the whispering in the ears still conveyed the message loudly, the ability of knowing without saying, the spark, the attraction is still in the air and seems like the addition of munchkins not only made them more complete and more balanced and just like Khushi, our hearts and souls - both felt it.

The journey from never happy to every happy to "You are my happily ever after", to living happily ever after - there are probably many love stories out there which are on similar lines. But the miracle of this one was all about distilling and retelling the very same story in small letters and small words and more importantly in a manner that touched many hearts. To quote my Arnavji's words "No one knows when a miracle is happening and no one needs to know once a miracle has happened - happiness is all about just knowing that it happens" - I believe that it happened to me on this journey and with just that, I will be basking in this glory for a long time to come.

To you my favorite Jigs - all great works have magic in them and you you made sure that it touched all our hearts and minds in a very subtle way. Writing is an extreme privilege and a gift and thank you for converting that gift into a story for all of us. I also think and truly believe that a career begins when you have the ability to make others read what you write, from start to finish without a break and many times over. Looking forward to the "Shaadi Speical and many more specials after that, it's only apt when I say you are so "special".

Lastly Jigs, come close so that I can whisper into you ears "You will always be one of my favorites...Hamesha"

P.S - the Shaadi invite was so you...my hugs to your lttle A..

It is so very bittersweet to be reading this update. On the one hand, there is the happiness that everything is just perfect in Khushi's little world, but on the other hand, there is the melancholy that after this, we will not be able to be witnesses to these sweet moments. But I'll smile. I'll smile because I got to read this wonderful piece of writing, be a part of this wonderful community of readers and journey, and enjoy the essense of a pure love story.

I don't know why, and I certainly can't explain it, but on this update, more than ever before, I could visualize it all. Their talks, Aryan being the mini-ASR he is, Amaya being her cute little self, their dance, Khushi kissing the kids good-night, everything, I could see it play out in my mind as I was reading, and it was one perfect experience!

That picture of Aryan and Amaya is so heart-warming. I just want to leap into the picture and give them one big hug! Khushi and Arnav sure know how to make them, eh? 😆

This update had all the aspects I enjoyed in Stripped: the honest talks between Arnav and Khushi, the way they listen to each other, the way they respect each other's decisions, the way they are attuned to each others feelings, the way they love, and the way they live.

And as always, you know just the way to make your readers happy. I will be looking forward to the marriage special. And that banner is just perfect, just like your daughter must be. How could she not be? She's your daughter after all. 😉

This was one hell of a love story, Jigs! And I will forever be in love with this love story. Thanks for taking up the challenge and letting your fingers fly! I will look forward to many more amazing stories from you.

Love always,
Ridz

At the onset... let me tell you that you have made me fallen in love with the pic of Aryan cuddling Amaya... Just too good a pic that would pass off as their kids...

Khushi trying to get in the groove.. Tough work but not impossible... Just the will power... It is like a muscle... The more you use it, the stronger it gets... It is this power to rise above any situation that has helped Khushi to transform into the brightest, strongest version of herself... So will a few aches and a bit of tiredness hinder her progress?... She can overcome it... with practice... * 😉 *

Had read somewhere... Never throw in the towel. Use it to wipe the sweat. Then keep going... Isn't that what she did???* 😛 * Both of them Arnav and Khushi have tried to fulfill the dreams of each other making the other's dream their own... In fact they are a dream team... Being qualified in different yet complementing aspects professionally... and of different temperament yet able to acquiesce to the other's wishes help them reach landmarks both professionally and personally... Even at the height of personal glory... Arnav knows its due to the joint phenomenal effort and he is not averse to acknowledging it openly... Making her the Co-CEO is his way of ensuring that she gets the professional respect she deserves from others... He makes sure that the terms are acceptable and flexible as per her requirements and she has no scope to deny the privilege of having her at work, alongside, as his equal... ☯️

At this point of time, I felt what would Sam's thought be, now knowing the meteoric rise of Khushi and she being a global player... But it is of no consequence... a closed chapter...

The kids... Both are charmers... where as Aryan is Mamma's boy... Amaya has her father wrapped around her little finger... A cute adorable family... A family that makes it a point to go out together... do simple things together... enjoy the company of one another... in a nutshell a close knit family...a secure family emotionally too... sowing the seeds of family bonding in children...

Loved how all their talk revolves around their children... Things parents give up, to provide their children a stable and secure feeling and environment along with personal attention is appreciated many a time when those kids have their own... As your VM showed, a homemakers job is never appreciated nor understood but always underestimated... being the head of operations yet never acknowledged... the driving force behind the family... though a small cog but essential to ensure the chain runs smoothly...

How beautifully you have put what really matters in life and especially a married life... "Right, that's because now you are Khushi Singh Raizada, the mother of my children and my wife, who doesn't need to impress me with fancy clothes or make-up. It's your natural beauty and what's inside your heart that makes you beautiful to me."

The meetha session was just that Jigs... Luckily for Arnav, their warrior, the knight of his mother... who thinks his mother is his exclusively, and only he can have the rights, other than his sister, to touch her, had gone to slumber...

Jigs... have you not changed your DP because of epilogue??? Its Arnav and Khushi being drenched in Amaya... Nice hint Jigs... It amounts to being bound together, forever...

Congrats Jigs... ⭐️ You did a great job...👏👏👏

Loved the invite from L'll Jigs...

Just apt and so Arnav- Khushish...⭐️

👏👏👏
