Chots has this. With some nausea pills for that roller coaster.

(P.S: I hate roller coasters, but I'm going on this one for you. Be flattered. 😆 )

1. Nani-Khushi conversation- "But when he came last night, his eyes only searched for you. I took the chance telling him to go in the kitchen, and ask you to serve him dinner. And, the smile that came on his face was enough for me to know I was right about you two." : This line! I love this line. Their entire conversation was so great. I liked how Nani took initiative and talked to Khushi about it- and how Khushi responded in kind. But I think my favorite part of the conversation is when Nani tells Khushi it doesn't matter that she was engaged before, or that it was broken. Often, people look at women with broken engagements and blame them, or there's that nonsense about them being bad luck and whatnot- I liked how this elderly grandmother proved the stereotype and society wrong here.

2. "Oh, one more thing... can everyone please keep the noise down, especially Khushi? It was so loud last night and I couldn't sleep.":

3. Khushi showing him her panties, putting on a sexy nightgown... and then trying to go to sleep: 😆 😆 😆 😆 Really Khushi? You think he'll let you get away with that?

4. Oh my god. I totally forgot to call and tell you, but holy *lots of appreciative swearing*. This was kickass, amazing, incredibly sexy and tender at once (HOW?!). Is there still water from that flood leftover?

5. Making up for lost time? 😳

6. Khushi-Amma/Babuji conversation: So honest, so relatable, and so real. I loved it, and I think (well, besides the 😉 ), I think this was my favorite part of the update. I think everyone can see a little bit of their parents in this, with Garima and Shashi gently arguing about their daughter, Garima's delight that she's found someone, and Shashi's apprehensiveness. I loved how happy they were for her, and that Shashi was a little worried.

But the best part was how much they trusted her to make a good choice, and how much faith they had in their daughter. So wonderful.

Ruchi Di mentioned this to you, but I'll say it again. You really do have a wonderful understanding of relationships, Di. It shows so well in your writing, and who you are as a person.

I'm going to miss you so much, damnit! But have lots of fun, and enjoy yourself, okay?

Love always,
R.

My dhak dhak started seeing "WARNING... MATURE CONTENT " for both parts 😉😉

I love Arnav's Nani and her understanding...muah muah. Simply adore the way she expressed Arnav & Anjali's past and her wishes to Kushi in most subtle way. Nani cleared all inhibitions Kushi had with this one conversation.

Arnav's flirting reached peak 😳😳and I love it. Kushi is becoming so bold under Arnav's training.

Finally Kushi shared happy news with her parents. Shashi's doubts are understandable as a girl's father and he will come out of those once he meets Arnav.

I hope this obnoxious moron is Sameer and Arnav will kick his ass like anything.

Arnav & Kushi promise to each other...

r
*******

Jigs, you manage to surpass our expectation with each update. I was waiting for both the conversations, the one with Nani and the one with Khushi's parents. Your understanding of human relationships and perceptiveness when it comes to emotions is outstanding. It's a pleasure to read something so well thought out and grounded.

I love how you showed Nani accepting Khushi as an individual in her own right. Yes, she has made her Chote happy, and for that she is grateful, but for her who Khushi is, is of equal importance. Given that she only knows of what happened through third parties, her compassion and her belief in Khushi is all the more remarkable. A lady worth emulating!

It's so cute the way Arnav ruffles her feathers. Loved reading all the double entendre ;) Arnav being totally irrepressible! The sheer warmth that was there in the entire evening, just a loving caring family spending time together.

And now thanda paani is so not enough! Coherent thought is a little difficult to come by at this time 😳 I loved how he said "you always will". Is he the best or what?! Which sentiment he then reinforces by saying Khushi should speak to her parents and is then ready to fly with her to Delhi to do that!

Khushi's father's reticence is totally understandable. I like how he is cautious but not closed. His daughter's welfare is of paramount importance to him. He's willing to give Arnav the benefit of the doubt. A mother's heart is more emotional. After all that Khushi's been through, her joy must give so much 'sukoon' to her mother. Yet again, their love for each other so well portrayed.

Is that 'obnoxious' guy Sameer? I certainly hope so! Want to see ASR taking him down and teaching him a few manners. Yet again I'm rubbing my hands in glee ... don't care if it's totally unbecoming to be so blood thirsty! He deserves it bas. 😡

Hope you have a great holiday, we'll be waiting eagerly for you to come back!

And Jigs, for us Strippedeans, "You are one remarkable woman..."

LOL, this is called sixth sense... 😆
I had noo idea that Jigs was reserving now... 😆

P.S. Sorry Jigs, AD has been a killer, haven't had time to write a comment for the previous chapter & here I am reserving for the next... 😒

**Edited**

The last couple of updates were just fabulous Jigs. It was great to see their relationship grow so beautifully. Loved the teasing that went on in the last chapter from Payal & Anjali. It was really cute to see Arnav head for the kitchen like a homing pigeon... LOL It was only clear from this chapter how he knew where "his" Khushi was... Nani was playing cupid obviously. 😉
Glad to see that both Anjali & Nani got their wish of seeing Aranv & Khushi as a couple. I was a little miffed when Khushi refused to let Anjali spread the news about their relationship, but was later gratified to read that Khushi was plain scared of losing Arnav... And I was like awww, poor you! Arnav ain't going anywhere girl. He is glued to your side like, may I say, Fevicol?? 😉

Loved the way Arnav asked Khushi to serve him dinner, little did I know he had been coached by wily Nani here too... 😆 But there was something so cute about that domestic scene brought a huge smile to my face.

Nani, is smarter than a cartload of monkeys put together... I adored the way she cornered Khushi to spill the beans... She, like me, has no patience. LOL Couldn't wait for Khushi to fess up... I was like thank God for people like minxes like nani in the world, makes life so much more fun...

Loved the way Arnav was teasing Khushi so blatantly about "meetha"... Geez! if word ever gets out on what that meetha actually constitutes of, Arnav & Khushi won't be able to hear the end of it ever...

Khushi was finally nudged into acting her age and not like the nani she usually does... Loved the peep show she gave a salivating Arnav... Poor guy! He is so completely besotted by her, he will take whatever little crumbs she will throw at him... My heart went out to him seeing him capitulate like that... Women! we are heartless... 😆

Like Arnav & Khushi, I too am waiting to see them not having to use the C... 😉

Was glad to see Khushi's mom accept the new man in Khushi's life so enthusiastically... And I am absolutely sure that Arnav will impress his new FIL at all in no time... 😉

To tell you the truth, my brain has been so zapped these past few days, I had not suspected that the "obnoxious" guy Arnav was referring to could be Sameer... But after reading numerous comments, I think it is quite a possibility or may, even be a certainty.

Question is, does Arnav know that this guy is the same Sameer that Khushi almost married?? Did he purposely go out to acquire that firm?? Or is it a simple coincidence?? Is Arnav doing this for revenge to hurt Sameer where it hurts most?? Or will he to be surprised at the coincidence. Will he let Khushi really work with him?? Or will he try to protect her from running into that guy again???

As you can see, many questions have arisen in my mind. Will wait for you to clarify them. In the meantime, you enjoy your well-earned vacation.

Ciao!

The update was very nice Jigs di. Their relationship is progressing so beautifully. There are subtle changes which are engaging. Arnav can be such a tease at times. Lol. But I also loved the way Payal and Anjali had been on a teasing spree. The kitchen scenes were just too cute. The way they sense each other is nice. Nani is the best in any ff's. Her character is something we all love. She is just an amazing woman.

FInally the family feels complete. They are in bliss. Khushi's fear is reasonable. Very reasonable considering her past. But she has no reason to be soo scared. Arnav has gone out of his way to do things for her. He treasures her in every way possible. He is here to stay.

Have a Wonderful Vacation!!! 🤗

Lovely Update!!
Loved the interaction between Nani & Khushi. Nani was so understanding. Though she tried to find out about Khushi's family after hearing about the way things had gone wrong in her life. She was kind enough not to be judgmental having gone through bad situations in her own life with her grand kids. She decided to let Khushi tell her about her past. Having said that their bonding is amazing. She embraced her with all the love she could offer Khushi in this world. And stuck to her thoughts she was Arnav's Khushi.

Loved the understanding Arnav had seeing Nani & Khushi together and ensuring that Kushi was alright seeing her tears. And most important Nani verbally telling them she has accepted the relationship which she was looking forward to. The love, respect & care of Arnav & Khushi for each other in any given situation.

The Bonding of the Ladies of the house. Mind blowing as always.

Loved that Khushi was able to talk to her parents openly and also make them understand about Arnav. Her Mother's acceptance seeing Khushi being happy after a very long time. Her Father being worried for his daughter, after what she had gone through, especially knowing the family with whom they had wanted to form a bond. Though once he talks to Arnav his views will change but till then you can't blame him for his worries.

The Icing on the Cake. Arnav knows whom he is Dealing with, Is he Not!!! He has taken over that company to teach the Obnoxious Person a Lesson on various levels. Though it was personal first, I guess after meeting him he is going teach him a lesson he will not forget on a very long time. That is why he is neither telling Khushi the person's name nor wants to her to meet him till the Take over is over. Since he wants to surprise the partner of the take over firm. He wants to ensure that Khushi has the upper hand when he brings her in front of Sameer. Love the Way Arnav has decided to handle this situation.

Khushi must have mentioned that if things are satisfactory to Arnav at the end of six months, that she will be made a Partner or Manage one of his branches. Something which she has been working for. I am sure that must have been her Clause at the time of joining, since she knew could make it.

Unres:
Aur aahista kijiye baatein, dhadkanein koyi sun raha hoga
Labz girane na paaye honto se, waqt ke haat inako chun lenge
Kaan rakhate hai yeh daro deewaar, raaz ki saari baat sun lenge
Aur aahista kijiye baatein

Aise ek dusare mein gum ho jaayein
Faasala koyi darmiya na reh jaaye, na reh jaaye

Jigsie, muuaaahh, you are an awesome writer!!!!!

Loved everything about this update!!!!!!

Where shall I start the words of praise, which might still not do the justice of praising it!!!

Anjali and Arnav's sibling bonding and they sharing happy moments together witnessed by Naani who has seen the lowest point of their lives and Khushi, who has brought about that complete happiness to the sibling duo.

I totally agree with Nani, Arnav has surely inherited the intellect from his grandma.

It was indeed such an emotional moment when Nani supported Khushi for her earlier decision regarding Sameer even without knowing what happened. I guess it does not take long for someone who has seen life so much to judge people. I loved it when both Khushi and Arnav took her blessings and they sharing a group hug.

Loved their sexting. Arnav knows that his Khushi is a "jungli billi". She just needs a little bit of instigation and that would bring out the best in her. Well, the trick worked!!!! His teasing surely provoked her to be bold in the bedroom and during their lovemaking session.

And my oh my!!!! Thank goodness the weather is very cold here now or I should have put the AC on high after reading their passionate love making!!!!

And ofcourse this jungli billi had to win the silent contest!!!!

Khushi's talking with her parents was again emotional. Her father's fears were also valid. Rich guys usually have this reputation of being playboys and its quite natural for Khushi's father to be apprehensive about Arnav. He afterall does not want Khushi to get hurt again.

I am sure Khushi's parents would love Arnav as they get to know him better.

Finally the obnoxious guy, I am sure it is Sameer. Please Jigs, make Khushi a strong woman here and not hesitate to take on Sameer with all her strength and determination.

Sameer means "hawa ka jhoka".

It would be fun to see Arnav kicking Sameer's ass making him a flying mass.
