Thread 7, the final thread for this journey which is very humbling for my first story. I honestly did not think I would reach here, but you guys have left me speechless with the love and support you have shown Stripped, along with all of the characters except for one LOL and me. I hope you enjoy what's left of the journey as Arnav and Khushi find their forever.

Let the celebrations continue, keep the comments coming... don't forget the speculations...you know how much I love them!!! And most of all happy reading, because it makes me really happy to write this story!

Story:

This story is going to be a simple love story about Arnav and Khushi which takes place in a Corporate setting in New York with a little past. Come follow their journey and see how their relationship evolves from professional to personal!

Emotions laid bare and Stripped of all pretense...

My darling Jigs, 7 is rather an appropriate number for Stripped. Our journey here has taken us through a whole gamut of emotions. Just like the seven colours of the rainbow, with each colour signifying sentiments your characters have been imbued with.

Red - rage, that which Arnav feels on behalf of Khushi and Sameer feels towards Khushi

Orange - greed, that which defines Sameer

Yellow - fear, that which had Khushi in it's grip

Green - willpower, that which gave Khushi the strength to unshackle herself from fear

Blue - hope, that which Arnav gave Khushi's parents about their daughter's future happiness

Indigo - compassion, that which Naniji displayed upon knowing of Khushi's past

Violet - love. that which Arnav and Khushi share, but it's also familial love, parental love,sibling love, the love that Anjali and Khushi share.

I am feeling triste at the thought of this being the last leg of this journey. But delighted to see the comfort level between Arnav and Khushi, the domesticity of the opening scene was so heartwarming. I love how she laughs indulgently at his shortcomings and appreciates the fact that he's trying. Respect for the other is so important in a relationship.

Khushi's feeling of guilt is just so her. Her innate goodness coming through. But I loved how the overriding emotion here is that of outrage on behalf of her Arnav and his AR. That's why it matters to her so much.

How beautifully you put in words Khushi's thoughts as she walks towards her future. Reflective, contemplative, ruminative. Cognisant of the depth of her Arnav's love for her. How neatly you summed it ... "I bared my emotions, stripping them from all the pretenses with him as he gave me his all... his shoulder to lean on, his support, his love, and him, all of him to me."

I loved the banter between all three of them as they go for lunch, and for Khushi's surprise. The bond that all of them share is lovely. Once again Arnav knowing just what Khushi needs. Anjali is indeed a true friend. Understanding, supportive and always being there for her and with her.

And now for the firing (cue gleeful rubbing of hands). Perfect, perfect, perfect. 👏 I loved how you portrayed Arnav's controlled anger, his icy outburst, Sameer's belligerence, reduced to grudging acceptance by the end. You can sense each and every emotion going through all of them as the scene pans out. I really admire how Khushi stood up for herself. As you said, knowing it's "Time to move forward, once again..." but now with hope combined with will power.

Creepwa ki himmat toh dekho! Can't believe you're leaving us here with this detestable reprobate in her flat! TVManiaji 😡

1. My favorite part of the first section is when she fixes the bed again because he didn't do it right. I've seen my mom do it, and it just made me smile.

2. I like Mohan. He's so sweet!

3. Khushi thinking about everything that happened was a really nice touch- I liked the way she realizes that they're a team- I loved the line where she says that she notices he's holding back his frustration, and gives her the little nod as he watches her handle it.

4. "Isn't this the dress code when you want to take someone out?" 😆 😆 😆

5. Arnav's "Yes Madam" 😆 😆 😆

6. I've always loved the Anjali/Khushi relationship, and this was no exception. I really like how they talk about why she didn't tell them, and how Khushi realizes again that she doesn't have to do it all alone- she has Anjali, and Payal, and Arnav, and Akash, and so many people who are there for her, always.

7. Ravan? LOLOLOL 😆

8. Khushi's nerves and the way Arnav soothes her and gives her support- yes. I love this part about your writing.

9. The entire scene where she takes out Sameer: So. Well. Done. You got the tension spot on, Di- and I love how aggressive and arrogant you've made him. The thing with Sameer, is that he's so real- he's someone everyone has met in their lifetime at least once, if not more than once. Someone who is arrogant, rude, and thinks they are entitled to whatever they damn please. That's what makes him such a good character.

10. I love Arnav's squeeze of Khushi's hand. Simple, sweet, and just what she needed.

11. Longest Bollywood romance with tons of songs and dancing: bwahahahahaha, I approve, Gupta.

I will miss this story, so much. This story means something special to me. I wouldn't leave a comment like this for anyone but you- because I love you damnit.

But I'll leave the senti for later.

Kushi dressing up like going to a funeral for ahole's kick ass action is simply perfect. Just like this is the end of any traces of Sam's presence in Kushi's professional or personal life 👏

Seems like ahole didn't even know etiquette and discussing office matter on pathways without any preamble. Love the way Kushi cut him off and said she is heading out for lunch 👏. Proud of you my girl.

"I look at the two men sitting in front me, one is my past while the other my present and future. And I think how world apart they are- there is no comparison between the two."

These are the best two lines describing two completely different individuals in every aspect.

Sam must be the dumbest person to call and let the clients know about the product setbacks 😆. Ahole don't even know how to cover his tracks of course this helped our Ms. Terminator 😉. Also love the fevicol bonding between Kushi, Akash, Anjali and Payal.

How Sameer got access to Kushi's apartment?. What is Henry doing? Sleeping? Or did Sam pose as a food delivery guy as in Bollywood movie. I think Sam is stalking Kushi for right time to attack on her. But what ahole is unaware is Arnav's planned arrival to Kushi's aprtment. I think we will see some action packed dishum-dishum in closing chapter before Time to move forward, once again...

Tvmania 😡 asking for cliff hanger 😆

Jigs, another super duper update.👏

Stripped is indeed the journey of a woman named Khushi, who stood by her ethics and principals and never compromised on them and who through her determination and hard work achieved her ambitions, maintaining the faith her parents had on her. During her journey she found her love, her soul mate who became her inspiration to achieve further in life and in whom she found a friend, a partner, a lover and a person on whom she could lean on in any dire circumstance life throws at her.

Her walk to the office in many senses was her walk towards a brighter future, towards her Arnav, filled with his unconditional love and abundant respect for her. I guess her wearing black also signifies that today is indeed the funeral of her horrible past she had which would be shut and closed in a coffin and buried forever.

In a way this story also reminds us how beautiful it is to have a wonderful family like theirs right from Nani to the little guy Adi. Loved that Anjali and Payal came during lunch to support Khushi and give her a moral boost.

The friendship between Anjali and Khushi also something extremely beautiful in this story. No pretences, no expectations, just plain friendship and love and trust in each other.

The scene where Khushi fired Sameer was just outstanding Jigs. Though Arnav wanted to punch Sameer, yet he controlled his anger and let Khushi do the job. Love the pride Khushi has towards AR, knowing that AR is indeed Arnav's baby and love her determination to not let anything or anyone harm AR in any way.

Somehow I knew that Sameer would show up again. I kind of guessed that he will not keep quiet.

I thought when she was walking home, he might show up. But ofcourse he would not do anything in a public place right. So how did he come up to her apartment? Posing as a delivery guy??

There are many men in this world who think that they are superior than women. But amongst them many are hardworking and honest and stick to their ethics and principals. Unfortunately Sameer is a total ass hole here. He is not only a male chauvinist pig, but he does not have any ethics or even honesty in his life. If he was indeed honest, he would never have leaked false information about the product to its clients and would never manipulate things in such a way. What a pathetic waste of life Sameer is!!!!

I wont predict what is coming up next Jigs, I will wait and read it.

But Jigs how can next chapter be the last chapter. Arnav has not proposed to Khushi yet and then their wedding, honeymoon and then the epilogue of their life together.

Jigs, alteast give us one more chapter along with the next chapter before the epilogue. Please don't hurry up the last bit.

Also Jigs, there is one question which has been boggling my mind from quite some time now.

What if Khushi was just an employee, a COO at AR? What if there was no romantic angle between her and Arnav and then Sameer appears like this in her life? What would have happened?

In real life Jigs you are a VP of a global corp, you tell me, would her CEO have trusted and believed her as much as he is doing now. What if Sameer had indeed shown up at her door step and there was none to help her, what would have happened?

The above lines were written when I was half asleep...!! How can I think about acid attack in of NYC streets..stupid of me..but I felt he will attack her somehow..but didn't know he will barge into her house..this is a googley you threw at me Jigs..am not able to handle it even after good nights sleep..!! But because of this one of my wish is coming true..Sameer will get to know how much Arnav loves Kushi..thank god Arnav is coming soon..wrong timing Sameer, hawa ka jhonka..

mind blowing firing scene..Kushi has come a long long way..what she thinks about confiding in Anjali when she was in Wharton is so right..she should have...but then things happen the way they are..

You are awesome Jigs..love you for the update...TVMania, yeh kya kiya aapne..meri BP high kardi..dammit ;-) ;-)

Yielding Anjali quickly removes her guilt

"Khushi is going to take out Ravan today"

Kicking Ravan out turns out to be a play

Killer Sameer's presence fades away

King Arnav's kindness is like a beacon's ray

"I suggest you sit the f**k down..."

I am glad ASR is in town

I like this assassin Khushi's dressing down

Icing on the cake is her urge to punch Sameer clown

"Time to move forward, once again..."

That statement sums up life trying to attain

This journey is all about stripping for certain

The emotions and clothes stripped and slain

"I love you, sweetheart"

We lauu youu too jigs I impart

I am sure we will all agree

We love you more than eternity

when i started reading this chapter iam in dreamland ,its soo much positiveness and soo romantic and in the end oh god...

iam sure sameer is going to repent by coming to kushi i doubt he is going back with out broken bones.😡...i guess he doesn't know yet this kushi is going to be MRS Arnavsingh raizada...can not wait to read how raizada is going to break sam bones...and kushi is going to punch his face...
