Jigs, that was brilliant the way you handled Sameer. His own arrogance being the cause of his downfall, truly hoisted by his own petard. But that glint' of penitence' you showed is what I rejoiced at. He is not going to be hovering on the horizon of their future. And this is one of the many reasons why I love your Khushi. She feels all those emotions but still has the courage to face her demons and want to overcome them. The strength that comes from having self confidence and a sense of conviction. She's not the one at fault, she's not the one who's transgressed acceptable behaviour. Why should she cower from the one who has. A rather appropriate, well placed kick, for him I thought!

Arnav - the primeval instinct kicks in and the red mist descends. It's the love of his life whom he's failed to protect. That sense of anger and guilt is an emotive cocktail. Brought out physically by punching Sameer black and blue. I have to admit to a small sense of satisfaction at that ...

The part where they look at each other's injury and console the other makes my heart ache with tenderness. It is so touchingly written. A deeper conversation going on behind the physical tending. So much love, so much concern ...

Khushi understands Arnav so well. I love how she refuses to let him wallow in guilt, how she forces him to talk to her. That bottle of scotch is no substitute for his Khushi, and she makes him see that.

I love how she gives him space and appreciates the effort he's making. She has so much clarity of thought. how honest she is with herself. She knows the way she was with wanting to protect Arnav, so can understand his need to do the same.

Jigs, this entire episode has been exceptionally well handled. Both of their self respect has been maintained at all times. As individuals and as a couple. When you say they emerge stronger at the end, the reader can identify with it. It's been shown at every stage. And that's what's special about your writing. The way you make us identify with their reactions.

So take a deep bow and meet me there as I'm already taking one - aapke liye :)

Another amazing action packed update 👏. I believe in second chances and glad that Sameer got his aur ek mauka from Arnav & Kushi even after all the things he did and I hope he really uses this chance moves on in life wisely without unnecessary grudges. "Life is short live it up".

I just love the way you portrayed Arnav & Kushi characters and their level of understanding, love, support for each other and everything 👏 . It is very hard to imagine our loved once are in imminent danger and the nagging feeling that we failed to protect them from mishap. I completely understand the guilt trip Arnav went through of course at the end love prevails and wins over all the battles and insecurities.

Eagerly waiting for better tomorrow...

I can't believe I am feeling bad for Sameer..!!!!! not for the punches of Arnav and Kushi's kneeling him (thats perfect)..just for he himself spoiling his career..idiot..useless guy.. I am happy with out of court settlement of throwing him out of the country..perfect solution.

Kushi is a super woman..the way she handled him..amazing..

Arnav, my sweetheart..he was feeling sooo bad..not your fault dear..the way Kushi handled the situation, perfect..

God I have missed reading last update. Thanks to AD. Finally AD released me from it's clutches.

I don't know why I feel bad for Sameer. Due to his stupidity and some pseudo ego, he ruined his entire career and life. Somehow I felt good that he is not jailed and deported back never to return to US again. Ofcourse if he is blacklisted by US, then no other country in the world will allow his entry too.

As Shailaja had said in the earlier update comments, posing as a delivery person he entered the building, looks like he might end up doing the same back in India. What a pathetic waste of life and intelligence!!!! Sigh, I guess he learnt his lessons the hard way.

Ignoring the Sameer issue, what stood out in this update for me was the beauty of love.

Love indeed the most beautiful feeling in this whole world. If it makes you weak at one point, it also gives you the ultimate strength to face any tough situation.

It was the immense love Arnav has for Khushi and realising that she might be in danger, made him go weak and he panicked and came running towards her apartment. But the other side it was Arnav's love which gave Khushi the strength to tackle someone like Sameer at that moment.

It was the love they have for each other which made them overlook their own injuries and care for the other person's injury.

It was the love Arnav has for Khushi, that made him feel guilty first for bringing back Sameer into her life and later allowing her to be alone at home which gave an opportunity for Sameer to attack her.

Finally it was her love that made him let Sameer go without punishing him severly as it was her wish.

Again it is the love Khushi has for Arnav which makes her think about fulfilling his dreams about AR and inturn put her best effort forward.

I remembered the beautiful verse I had read "I love you so much it hurts".

So true, when the person you are in love with, is in any kind of pain, you feel the pain hundredfolds more than them. Both Arnav and Khushi have that kind of love, wherein both don't want to see the other in any kind of pain and both have the same goals, to keep the other one happy.

Jigs, now since the ghosts of the past have disappeared like the darkness of night disappears with the first rays of the dawn, waiting for the new dawn to make its grand entry in their lives.
