*Season 2, Week 30* Analysis Thread

Welcome to the weekly analysis thread, where we dissect the heck out of the characters, situations, and the possibilities for the leap! This thread is dedicated to in-depth character and story analysis in this new phase of the show. Let's explore how the show, in its complexity makes us think. We leave the thread open-ended so that we can discuss varied topics with each other in a more informal way, and new thread begins every Sunday evening for ongoing discussions as the week unfolds. It does not matter if your intention is to hurt someone or not. Or whether it's your point of view or not. You are obviously posting your point of view not someone else's

Irrespective of the character you are analysing, please try and use polite, kinder language to share your thoughts with the rest of us. Makes for more pleasant reading.

Some random thoughts for some random scenes :

So Ishwari cudn feel any differences bet pati wala pyar n beta wala pyar.. Seriously ? Ohh that's y she wanted to b Dev's saathi' instead of "saaya ", infact wat she needed exactly was Dev's "sahara ". Ishwari wanted to b more connected with Dev emotionally n competed with Sona's patni wala pyar n the end result was tragic. But now too she cudn get that properly , that's wat surprised me . But liked Sona's interpretation of luv . Wen the transparent , water like luv get mixed up with various colours of luv , it gets blackened loosing it's transparency. So the different shades of luv is obvious but v need to draw the lines . Wen Dev said to Sona that he luvs her the same way he luvs soha or his maa, I cudn take that too. How cud that b possible Dev ? Ofcourse it's the same emotion Luv but the feelings r different n it shud b different or else u need medical assistance . ( Btw, did Dev confessed to Sona as " I luv u as a son luvs a mother " ?? 🤪 )

Till the other day , Elena was busy with her cam n other commitments but suddenly started showing interest in Golu's studies , school etc. Quite interesting ! Elena was nt interested in going to school even for Golu's open house ( PT meeting) . Also she started showing withdrawal symptoms regarding her hubby ofcourse , afterall he started to change naa ??

Wen Sonakshi said that she cudn understand the weird behaviour of Soha , I also thought as a mother , how cud she nt b but on a serious note , it might happen sometimes . Wen Dev introduced to Soha as her papa, the lil girl very much got confused . Even though Sonakshi was giving full attention to Soha then but cudn figure it out as wat went wrong with her. But wen she talked to Jatin ( I still miss that character . Y the makers jst eradicate his character ? Jatin was said to b the first one to hold tiny soha in his arms..truly a father figure to Soha ) Sona understood that bcoz of Soha's promise that she didn want to c her papa, soha was acting weirdly as she broke that promise. So now too Sona is trying to figure that out as wat went wrong with Soha. That's y she said to Elena that she'll b going to meet Soha's teacher. Sona shared her concern with Asha too n she suggested that Soha was doing this deliberately to gain attention from her parents. I hpe , from now onwards , due attention will fall on Soha from her parents. (Jst remembered ishwari saying in season 1.. mein apne bete ko janti hu. Dev loha hai etc etc. But infact Ishwari cudn understand Dev @ all . Dev was broken into pieces inside after separation from Sona but Ishwari cudn felt any difference. So it's better Sona accepting that she can't understand her daughter )

Last but nt least , after the rain dance , Dev Sona went for their lunch date. Then a random lil girl came n said to Dev that his smile is good n hero types. I didn get it ..I meant , I won't allow my girl to go n say something like this to an unknown person . Actually if the makers wanted to add such a scene , a perfect situation was der. Dev recently launched his new software on TV , so obviously everybody noticed that. The conversation wud've been more logical ( I know this word is irrelevent for daily soaps but still ) had the girl said . " uncle , I've seen u on TV. I like u'r smile "...something something . (TBH, I liked it wen the girl said that she like his smile n he smiles like a hero bcoz indeed he is but that doesn't mean , I'll allow my girl to do the same n in reality , I've 2 boys , even if I wanted them to tell something like this to some one like Dev, they won't go n infact they don like me watching these actors 😆 ) But anyways I'm appreciating the writers efforts to incorporate real incidents too in reel like floppy hair, wonder woman , hero type looks , chuha-aided hair cut etc .

Interesting wk ahead n I'm looking forward to that ...
